Is it gas or CO2. Mag wise generally WE will fit but not TM

Yeah don’t think there’s many aftermarket upgrades for the 226. Not sure why that is but other than changing the slide to metal I think that’s about it. When I had my TM 226 there were very few parts that could be bought to change its look or whatever.

I tried this yesterday with one of my Pmags and I must say mate “ Legend “ even with my Pro-Win hop in which is an absolute nightmare with my Pmags this mod is brilliant and the pmag just clicks straight in no messing about. Great tip and I like it

You know that the hop unit can also prevent a perfect fit as dont you ? My Pmags fitperfectly into my lower receiver when there's no hop / barrel in the upper. Soon as my hop is in they won't click on the mag catch without having to gently smack the bottom of the mag. If I use my Element red hop unit the problem is gone but use my Pro-Win and the problem is back.

The problem with that is and I’ve done exactly what you’ve just done in the past and this is why I didn’t suggest it. You’ll soon find because you’ve now cut some of that away and with use your mags will eventually just fall out and will catch at all. i ended up binning two Pmags because I did that, they simply wouldn’t stay in as there wasn’t anything for the mag catch to catch.

I have the same issue. what I do is push it in then give the bottom of the mag a smack to secure it. Basically like you would do with a real weapon. it's the only way to get the mag catch to pinch it.

Ah I see. Well if they are supplying a full replacement drop in for you then it’s up to you. if you were changing it out yourself then the SMP I would say but as your looking to buy a custom drop in then either one would be fine. What I would do first is compare the functionality of the two and see which fits you better. The SMP is dead easy to use and the functions are great too.

The Jack only fits into TM gearboxes from the understanding i have of the Jack. Your best option is the SMP and i believe you'd need to V3 for an L85 but you'd have to double that one. I would say the SMP as it's gone down in price now due to Hydra and they are brilliant systems

They sell a trmr with the X4 base for something like £79.99, I just got the base as already have a trmr but they are excellent

it's a new primer which is based on the shot gun primer but they've made it slightly bigger. Here's a pic of my new X4 base with a Mag flash primer next to it to give you an idea. The new base allows me to use a .209, 9mm, shotgun & Mag Flash

Yeah that’s true. I don’t know what pistol this guy is planning on putting a TBB in, he’s just came to me and asked what I thought about it and if I could recommend any. Having only ever changed out a barrel once I didn’t see much difference.

So I’ve been asked a question about TBB’s in pistols and if they are actually worth having or not and if they actually make any difference. I’m unsure how to give this person an answer as I’ve never been asked and bar myself haven’t known anyone who’s actually done it. I did it with my 1911 & it was ok, can’t say I really noticed to be fair but wanted to ask others what they thought and if they’ve done it. Worth it or not worth it.

Hi all, Does anyone know how to disassemble the lower on a G17 to install a WE competition trigger (SAI). I've had a look on the net but there's only part videos not full ones :-(. Any help would be appreciated.

For the money hell no. For the looks hell yes. I got it becaus the air nozzle is CO2 power rated and was going to HPA it but the dual line doesn't have enough power too :-(
