not really that important it's more just to stop you from loosing your pin. The spring inside the pistol grip is important. Couldn't tell you they are an odd size, try some different pens with springs in

The spring if I remember correctly is the push the pin in which stop your rear body pin from coming all the way out

i think i've lost the interest as i used to be in army and when i left i got into Airsoft as an odd way of keeping myself somewhat into something as close to my old life as i possibly could but it's nothing like my Army life and it never will be. Think that's started to dawn on me now which is taking all the fun out the game.

It’s funny now though cos the Tippmann and SMP are running sweet as…. Well the SMP is my Tippmann again ran excellent on Sunday but when I wanted to do a little full auto to bed in my new hop mod it just struggled to do it. Think I need to play a few games with my trusted TR15 which has been a mint AEG from day one, maybe that will sway my mind.

did that with the Tippmann didn't work lol.

i've tried CQB, woodland, role play style mil-sims etc and i still feel i just CBA with it. I only play here and there, with having a two year old son i don't get the play as much i used to but now when i play just don't want to. At the moment i think i just play for the sake of playing cos i've spent so much on my SMP and Tippmann they make me play to get the use out of them and justify the money. if that makes sense.

Tried a different site & whilst I did enjoy the day I still had it in my head “ Just wanna go home “ and “ CBA with this “ L. Defo not getting old well hope I ant anyway I’m only 28. If I do quit completely I will remain on the forum as much as possible as you say with having knowledge in some areas I’ll always share it and help when and if people need it. It’s weird as it’s a sport I did really enjoy and I’ve put a lot of time into it and building my own weapon which now seems all for nothing. and you don't get on my nerves Sitting Duck.

Hi to all, So I wanted to post a quick thread to let people know I have decided to quit the sport. It’s been coming for some time now but think I’ve finally had enough. This may be temporary but more than likely will be a permanent thing. Whilst I am still making my complete and final decision my kit will be kept ;-). I’ve lost all enjoyment of the game lately, this all started with my SMP and it’s just gotten worse. A number of game days my SMP has ruined my day completely and then I got my Tippmann to which that did the same thing. Both are now fully working sweet as titties but I seem to have lost the mo-jo for the game. Also I think things have gotten worse for me within the Airsoft community after the BACS thing back in mid 2014, it seemed like I lost all my creditability and 100% good feedback became worthless overnight after posting that but things done with that wasn’t to be dishonest to be sport it was to show that ONE persons greed could have ruined the sport for everyone else given what they were doing. For the time being I will still be on the forum, posting and helping if I can but only time will tell if I will stay with the sport or leave it all together. I will say AF-UK has been a brilliant forum with some top people within it. Long its success continue & grow. Qlimax

Eagle6 sell the Firefly flat nub and Firefly bucking, both are excellent in a flat nub setup. I made someone's a flat nub setup last week using both firefly's and it's really good.

I got my prommy and flat nub froM Amped Airsoft as no where in the UK stocks them.

I have two flat hopped setups. TM 6.05mm barrel, firefly soft bucking with Namazu firefly flat nub in an element red hop unit. Miracle Barrel 6.08mm,prommy purple bucking with Namazu firefly flat nub in a Pro-Win hop unit. both were easy to do and both work brilliant.

Colemans gas with a Madbull adapter. Nice and easy to use with some abbey Silicone oil to drop in and away you go. I add oil everytime I gas my mags to be safe as propane is dry. Fps increase can vary but in he summer on a warm day you will get more mags to one fill. My Glock does 290 on green gas and 315 on propane. In the summer I fill my mag once with propane and can reload three times before its out.

Thanks Al. Here's three I completed yesterday. The two smaller weapons have had to have three eyelets as my setter broke after putting one into the eagle holster. The retention on the with one in is outrageously GOOD.

the Tan XDM holster isn't completed yet i still need to smooth it off and buff it up but so far they are all coming on nicely

So, as some of you may know i decided late last year to make my own Kydex holster and thought i'd share a few pics of what i have been making late. two XDM ones, Glock 17, D Eagle and i did make a MK18 pistol but lost the pics. These aren't easy to make even more so when it's all pretty much by hand.

Finally Finished externally. New NSR rail, new Scope and installed a new Madbull barrel. just need to hop mod and it's completed.

straw mod ? do tell ! As i don't know which mod to do, there's a few but the straw is a first on me mate

i'm not a trades type of guy but Tippmann have it engraved so i thought i'd make it into the Tippmann colours. Something different

yup made in the US Tippmann. In all fairness to Tippmann they are a paintball company and they do make some shit hot paintball weapons. this is their first outing on an Airsoft weapon so they've done pretty well with some of the design. two things i hate about it. 1. You have to take off the complete from end to get the barrel out. Weird. 2. the hop is a shite design, you have to mod it through the upper receiver to make it work. Really weird. it's really surprised me that they have used something like that barrel wise. I imagine it's to keep cost down but bloody hell come on at least give it a nice finish.

Yeah that's true M_P but at £400 you'd expect something a little better than that.
