  1. Part of the King's Protection Squad again...mainly because he is my lift
  2. Referencing, young padawan. Perfectly allowed to use libraries and plugins, as long as you attribute the owner's details at the top of the files or similar - Most plugins have said info included anywho. Sod writing frameworks from scratch for every new project. That would be tedious beyond belief.
  3. Well with a lot of time invested in getting fit again, i've finished physio and am able to go airsofting again as soon as i can find the time :)

Nice one lad. Take it easy though, It would suck for you to hurt yourself in a game, getting caught up in the moment.

  4. In a really good mood, paperwork has come through, I start my new job on 19th January :D

Web Applications Developer, so a little bit of a change. Decided to make the move back to full stack.

  5. Would be cheaper to just buy it from the UK, i know they're here as there was an unboxing of one on Legion's Facebook Group a few hours ago.
  6. I suspect that with every airsofter and their dog setting up hydro dipping businesses, that the market is already far to saturated for that to be a viable option
  7. And I'd say look at Jcheeseright's comment directly above yours as to why they are "overpriced".
  8. SRC is entirely proprietary, nozzle is incredibly fragile. Have actually just found a replacement nozzle for it, but at £60 for a piece of flimsy plastic. Yeah...no. The trigger control group is all cheap pot metal (where the hell did they find stuff that bad?) so it has a very limited life. The example I worked on the hammer had snapped. Even Stock WE's don't do that. The bolt carrier group was deformed to the point where it had to be removed with a few taps from a mallet. Hop unit...well there wasn't much left. Genuinely surprised he wasn't hurling flecks of pot metal at people instead of bb's. Disintegrated comes to mind.
  9. My god someone else bought one. Do not buy them. Want an AK GBBR, get a WE or a GHK. Was given one to fix a few weeks back - Owner claimed no more than 50 mags had been through it - Internals were pulverized. Go to get spare parts to replace pretty much everything inside - No one stocks them, go to a few separate distributors, who incidentally don't stock them. Go to SRC direct....."Sorry we don't make spares yet" This gun has been out for over 3 years, yet they've not made any spares? Hand gun back to a miffed owner, who now has nothing but a wall hanger.
  10. And I'm telling you from owning the WA and WE spec versions, that neither will work on an AEG spec receiver, I have tried. The pitch on the threads are considerably different.
  11. Yes it was, it is Combat Machine with GHK box in it. AEG Conversion. /EOD
  12. Its an AEG conversion. You can cancel the rail also, it only comes in 3 versions (WA, WE, PTW), none of which will work on an AEG upper.
  13. Key bit of reading on that site. "We have been making these since 1999" Not proper anzac biscuits, case closed.
  14. Nope. Tightbores are for grouping, not range. look to a 6.08+. And changing the hop rubber in it will make little to no difference, as it already has a G&G Green in it.
  15. Sounds like the hop unit design employed on the Ares XM110 and Scar H. Horrid things.
  16. Pfft. That crap from Sainsbury's aren't proper Anzac biscuits. They are supposed to be melt in the mouth, not concrete.
  17. By a complete stroke of luck with some cancelling, take 2 of my driving test is now on Friday, don't have to wait until the middle of February...WOOO!

Good luck mate, got my first go on the 3rd of Dec!

  18. Why does everyone make iPhone apps first? For cost effectiveness, first port of call should always be Android. Devices can be got for £30 (Not Kidding either - http://www.techradar.com/news/mobile-computing/tablets/seriously-cheap-android-tablet-hits-the-uk-for-30-1208145), and you don't have to pay to publish. "But more people use iDevices.." No, they don't - http://www.idc.com/prodserv/smartphone-os-market-share.jsp This I'm afraid just shows another company not doing sufficient market research...
  19. They should always be treated as real firearms around children, so kept out of reach at all times.
  20. Yeah, but apart from the first few seasons of Ray Mears, he was camped out in 5 star hotels overnight
  21. Or you can make your own for less than £10 if you are any good with a soldering iron
  22. Apart from lack of parts, mags etc >.>
  23. Ok, watched the video, that sounds like a standard CM16 Gearbox and Motor, first batch had Toptech internals, which will be the difference in ROF and the sound.
  24. Could you link the video you are referring to? The ROF stock is less than a PTS Masada, as it has a different gear ratio, Masada is a high speed setup whereas G&G gearboxes are all HT arrangements as standard.
