    Thanks for telling me about the pen Baz. Makes sense now, I thought we were going to be using the actual things I hope MDF don't fill up, I should be booking hopefully by mid-may, just need to convince my parents about travel and convince my friend to get down aswell.

      Yeah worth asking definitley, they're very good at uktactical. If not, then its annoying but wait it'll be worth it

      Apparently, they don't have the combo lot either as it's made out of their other stock (if that makes sense) Guess I'm just gonna have to wait, won't be able to use it until about July anyway.

    I'd rather paint it as I've been meaning to do it for a while, but I suppose I could if I can't do it over the summer. Gonna pester my friend and try and get him along

    Have you tried contacting the shop you bought it from? G&G are very good with replacement parts so the shop should have some available. If not, then in the manual there should be an exploded view of the gun with all the part numbers. You can then email G&G and they will send you a replacement part. An 8.4v battery is best for longevity of the gun, but you can also use a 9.6v to up your ROF and I believe it also increases trigger response. Mah shows how much charge the battery can hold.

    Apparently, the G&G L85 sucks, and Ares' L85 does too (great externals, shoddy internals). Have a look at the ICS L85. Airsoft_Ed had one so PM him and ask him what he thinks about it.

    hi boyle, and welcome to airsoft. Most skirmishes usually involve two groups of people against each other to complete some sort of objective. You don't need to be in a team to play and I think most people are 'lone wolves'. If none of your friends want to come and play, just go down yourself and get stuck in. Most airsofters are friendly, so you shouldn't feel left out.

      Closest WAS do is coyote tan which is lighter. Pantac do a CB RRV (what the 901 is based on) though I don't know much about Pantac quality as I've never owned anything by them http://www.airsoftsupplydrop.co.uk/store/pantac-molle-recon-chest-harness-coyote-brown.html

    Looks like it's going to be the MDF at the mo' for me. Hopefully I can persuade for a slightly early b-day present so I can play on day 2 as well. Any restrictions on guns/gun camos yet as I may paint mine black over the summer hols.
