  1. Don't really like them myself. After using a Viper drop leg and Blackhawk Serpa, I'd take the Serpa any day. Not only does it alleviate the 'flapping' as I was able to run it at hip height, but the drawing and holstering was so much easier since there were no buckles that held a gun in place - just a button with spring tension.
  2. A&K Masada. Didn't like it much since it was at the time way too heavy for me and the hop unit was awful, so I didn't have much range. Still, that was the gun that I learn loads about gearboxes on, and just as well, since the internals in it were lacking to say the least. Haven't been bothered to fix a gearbox jam that happened late last year due to new purchases, but nice to reminisce over as it gave me some pretty fun days airsofting.
  3. I can't relate to the rubbing issue with goggles, but I find that goggles fog easier on myself too, and for that reason I'd say go with a pair on glasses. It's definitely worth investing a bit more since you only get one pair of eyes and you sometimes don't really know what kind of protection you're getting with some of the unbranded shyte you find on eBay. ESS is a good brand. I run ESS Crossbows with clear lenses, and have done for awhile (can't remember exactly how long, but it's certainly been over a year). I don't think they've ever fogged on me, and they're pretty comfy. Also, glasses will probably feel better in conjunction with your lower face protection. With goggles, especially the kinda big style ones, it'll all begin to feel bulky and will be hella uncomfortable and probably make you sweat. If fogging is really an issue, invest in some good mesh goggles. Just be aware that it's possible for small fragments of shattered BBs to pass through and potentially come into contact with your eye(s) at high velocity. I don't really know all that much about mesh eye pro though. From what I've heard 'Bitter End' is a good brand for them but I don't know of their availability here.
  4. Perhaps build a cupboard or shelves to hide them? Maybe if they're organised she might ease up. And no - never enough guns.
  5. If you're really after another layer, the Helikon-Tex fleeces look good. Heard great things about Helikon, but personally I just stick to my combat shirt or a t-shirt. I'll bring a hoodie for getting there and lunch / breaks etc, but drop it since I wear a plate carrier and a helmet usually. That's more than enough to keep me 'warm'.
  6. Sorry to hear about this, mate. Really a shame. Here's to a speedy recovery and getting back out there.
  7. I adored the first Sonic on my dad's Sega Megadrive. That game was an absolute blast. I'll have to dig the old thing out of the loft to relive the memories.
  8. My lid and plate carrier get lashed under my desk but all my guns have a special place on a shelf
  9. Viper Multiple Gun Bag, so finally I can bring my backup and my shotty along with me to Bravo!
  10. Need some insight on what the best spring on the market will be for my ISC M4 to get it as close to 350fps as possible. The barrel length is standard carbine length, 363mm and to my knowledge it's not a TBB (it's the stock ICS one). The reason I'm looking to upgrade is that the stock spring is only pushing around 280fps and I'm looking for a wee bit more range. Thanks in advance folks!
  11. I've been seeing items on the internet listed as being coloured 'Dark Earth' and others being called 'Flat Dark Earth'. Might be a bit of a daft question but I was just wondering if there was a difference between the two? Anyway, hoping someone could help clear this up for me? Cheers in advance
  12. NcStar 5.5" - 8" bipod that will go on my M4 that's slowly but surely becoming a DMR type thing...

  14. What I'm saying is that I'm surprised that Ai have actually seen this through. Must've been a very pretty penny in order to get them on board with them.
  15. Hearing that Ai are supporting these twonks has genuinely surprised me. Surely they're better than that, for gods sake. Anyway, have ordered a few cheapy guns for plinking in the garden before getting into proper airsoft guns and despite having no real problem with the CS or how they send the parcels, what's in them is bound to be utter shyte regardless. Their complete BS gun descriptions on their site pee me off too, just like the fat bloke that makes the videos on the little orange turds. "IZ A SRING PISTIL AND CN SHEWT 700FPS LOL". Jesus, I'm beginning to sound like Frizzle... In conclusion, my advice; do yourself a favour and save for something that might work for more than 8 minutes.
  16. You do realise Ed's now on his way to burn your house down? That L85's gonna send the poor guy over the edge...
  17. I remember one of the BEST experiences I had was watching ones reactions to being shot by a marshall for not taking an earlier hit. Crying ensued. Me and another regular kindly informed the chap that airsoft "ain't COD!" Strangely, I'm yet to have a BAD experience with one... Although the infestation of bright orange L96's at our site is becoming worse for sure...
  18. A third bleedin' JPC. Who knows... Maybe I'll actually get this one! Also, tan nametapes with my callsign and a tan 'Like a Boss' and US flag patch.
  19. Woah, wierd airsoft dream where I was destroying with a 249 Para - it was awesome! And then I wake up to find my second JPC order has been refunded -.-

I'm not sure why anyone would go to Wolf given their unrealistic prices and sometimes condescending attitudes :S
