could also use similar rail systems and use a RIS to RIS system to allow blowback.

An AS50 would have to be a GBB for me. Can't have a gun like that without a nice bang every time you pull the trigger, wouldn't feel right.

Gonna wait on a GBB AK-12 though. Or wait for CYMA to start making those W700s again, they're fun to mess around with if you don't use them as actual snipers. Use it as a mid range hunting rifle on an apocalypse loadout, sorted.

You will need to do some extensive internal work to get it firing between 425-450 FPS. This will include changing:
Motor (for a high torque one to pull a stronger spring) A new spring- as said before, an M120 is your best bet Gears may need looking at or changing. Angle of Engagement correction is a must Piston and piston head in case the new gears strip the piston's teeth. The new piston must be a softer material than the gears. The piston head will improve airflow Air nozzle- again, improving seals and airflow PTFE tape wrap around the hop rubber's end- will improve the air seal A Gate Nano/Pico AB MOSFET or any other decent Fet to improve trigger response Hop unit will have to be exchanged if it's shite or have a new rubber and nub in. R-Hop mods are popular and mine gives me good results in my M27, but they're fiddly to set up perfectly A TBB. None of this MadBull crap for DMRs, you'll need a Prometheus barrel to get the best from it Wiring the rifle to Deans connectors for LiPo batteries is a must. Deans connectors have the largest contacts between battery and gun, meaning there is less resistance compared to Tamiya connectors which have a much smaller contact area. LiPo batteries are a must in my opinion. You can't get the best out of your gun's trigger response without a LiPo, and if you've installed a MOSFET you will get the best out of it.
A while back I was looking at converting a CYMA MP5 to DMR standard. All of the parts cost about £100 in total, however that wasn't including a few parts which the stock components had the same performance as (IE the motor- CYMA's motors are pretty decent).
My current DMR wasn't done by myself, I bought it for a steal on a 2nd hand FB page, and it's had a lot more done internally than my barebones MP5 DMR project. IDK what the total upgrade cost was, but I bought it for around £320 (the base gun was £450, £500 in places) and a LOT of internal upgrades were done to it (including all of the above and some more). It's performing brilliantly, and the only work needed doing to it is external bits and pieces I haven't got round to buying.

The most sensible thing would be to play some games and see what you would like to improve or change. Failing that buy a nice pistol

You could always ask for money for Airsoft related stuff.

If i were you, the next thing i would buy would probably be a vertical foregrip*, but the person who said good boots are a very good investment is spot on imo. Knee pads are also very useful, less so but not to be ignored are elbow pads. How happy are you with your eyepro? I have a lot of options, most of which are good for specific purposes, none of which are perfect for any game, but having plenty of options allows me to choose the best couple for any given day.

*Assuming your gun can accept one.

And +1 to spare battery also.

A hydration bladder and backpack/pouch is great also - being able to sip without having to mess with a canteen is quicker and less involved, so you tend to stay more hydrated, which improves performance. I would say that 3L is too much - really a 1L bladder is enough, but for some reason finding pouches for them or 1.5L isn't easy and they tend to be more expensive, so a 2L and just don't fill it so much is probably the best way to go. Don't imagine that you need to spend loads for a name like Camelbak, etc - the cheap Chinese ones are just as good and even if you get one with a simple bite valve, if you want the extra functionality of a removeable valve plus tap (so that you can decant water from your bladder into a cup say), you can get them for about £8 as an add on.

Maybe consider things like gel insoles for your boots and/or thousand mile socks (although i prefer Marks & Spencer thin 'gents' ankle socks against my skin, with a pair of thicker walking socks as the outer layer - which gives the same double layer as thousand mile socks for blister protection); maybe Sealskins socks if your boots are comfy but not completely waterproof.

Do you have gloves which fulfil your needs? Can you feel everything you need to through the fingertips? Are they tough enough to protect your hands when crawling through bushes etc? How warm are they? I have more glove options than i have boots...

If I were you i would not buy a pistol yet - they are a laugh but very little use, unless CQB is your preferred venue. Better to practice with your primary and get good at quick mag changes, transitions to your off hand side (for the times when you need to lean around cover to get at a target), plus the all important muzzle awareness (whenever your finger is on the trigger, you should be looking through/over the sights and keep from pointing it at friendlies) and accuracy.

how many battery's do you have? if its only the one then buy a spare nothing worse than your battery going dead halfway through the day and not having a spare to use, then maybe a few small upgrades like a tight bore barrel or even a decent sling.

a defo would be the midcaps unless your more of a spray and pray kinda player in which case stick to the high caps as 3 mags that hold 300 rounds each would serve you better than 3 mags that hold 120rounds each.

Sounds to me like you need to reconsider your load carrying. Multiple midcap mags tend to be a better idea than high caps and using midcaps you will need to carry more than 3 mags. If you are also having issues carrying spare bb's then it is clear that your vest isn't up to the job. Adding a side arm is not going to make things any easier. You should consider getting something more customisable such as a molle vest/chest rig or similar, alternatively webbing. Think about what you may want to carry in the future and make sure you are able to add the pouches you want.

You are perfectly correct, but when selling an RIF (imagine he bought the gun from a website, with no face to face sales) the first thing the retailer asks for is a UKARA number, which prevents a minor making the purchase straight away.

While it is the VCRA which makes the restrictions, its the near-universal adoption of UKARA within UK retailers which stops every 12 year old into guns getting online and buying a gun.

I would be interested but I'm very limited on time these days. And its quite a distance for me to travel even though I am on the border between Northamptonshire and Warwickshire.
    Maybe one day!

Hey guys and girl just a quick intro about Scared Hitless Airsoft Team or S.H.A.T as were more commonly known.

we started a few months ago as a group of mates who thought being as we all ways play the same site together why not make it official and start a team, currently there's 5 full time members but we are looking for new guys and are by no means a super serious team as at the end of the day airsoft should be fun.

are regular site is close action airsoft just outside corby northants where we can be found alomst every gameday and we are looking into booking some game days away up and down the country at various sites.

load outs are the basic multicam or british dpm vests weopons etc is left upto the individual player,

how ever this is were we do get serious we have a structurd role system where each member has a set role be it medic support player marksmen ect this is based on each members style of game play but if we feel that you dont cut it as a marksmen/sniper then u may be asked to switch roles as theres no point having guys who cant shoot, or are naff and stalking enemy being a sniper the same way there is no point having a guy with a bolt action play a support role.

normaly we will have a game with you and go from there.

so if your intrested in joining give me a p.m and we can go from there.
