  1. I thought Parcelforce had the same rules as Royal Mail...? In which case they do ship RIF's, so long as they are legal (as regards demilled/restricted parts) and not air weapons. But every now and then you're always going to get a jobsworth who thinks they know what a gwaan and actually knows 'kall... as MN says, just put Toy - it is a fucking toy after all, or sports equipment and put your UKARA number in your address so it says "UKARA# XXXXXXXX" just to cover you if a UK Customs jobsworth X-rays it.

  2. Overall rating (1 - 10): 10

Would you deal with the trader again (Yes / No): Yes

Any other comments: I bought a mortar case from him - helpful bloke and flexible over shipping. Wouldn't hesitate to do business again or to recommend him to you lot.

  3. What is genius, James, the hf audio one? I want a bang!

For me, light weight and not sharp is essential - to be able to throw it properly without worrying about hurting people.

It should be modular so that the shells can be replaced to go with various loadouts.

The guts should be modular also so that the same detonator spring gubbins can have something else added/removed simply to change between impact or timed detonation.

It would be handy if the same mech could be used for timed or impact with just a twist of some rugged bit, like the position of the spoon relative to the body say.

Variable timer would be nice, but not really essential.

The guts should also be simple to repair when worn out - whichever sear/spring/whatever wear out should be available as a spare.

I'm not really bothered about 9mm, especially if it needs extra weight to prevent it jumping in a way which could hurt somebody when it goes off, but if it was possible to create a lightweight recoil absorbing mech so that it was louder, that would be ideal. But .209 primers are ok.

A built in screamer a la key finder fob would be nice, since they are lightweight, to aid finding it in dense bushes and make stealing it more difficult.

  4. The holster and ammo pouch because my current one looks out of place on my Russian themed sniper loadout, this is also big enough for my ASG MK23 (main sidearm).

I had the same idea. To make them go with my Soviet portupeya, Y strap and belt harness stylee an ting, I used dark brown Dylon leather dye and put a slit in the side of the holster to allow for use with a mag attached (as the Czech police carried them with a short mag fitted) - I then added a leather strap and stud salvaged from a knackered old AK-47 mag pouch for additional security (it comes apart easily when I draw, but not by jiggling).
