I've received my GHK gen 5 today from a fellow member on here, the cerakote alu version. It's a really nice finish on the slide and really nice to shoot. I've put the patch to good work and it's gone to live with my GHK gen 3 steel
 

 

 
The mags are interchangeable, with the the gen 5 mags being easier to release the base plate with a fingernail lever instead of just the press in button on the gen 3 mag 

Yep a decent test ride is the plan, what is stupid is the number of dealerships that DONT have test ride bikes, about 10 years ago I considered a GS1200, nearest dealer didn't have a test bike, so I said "fine, what about that secondhand one your selling ?"
Dealer replies "your not getting it, the GS is our top selling bike, we don't need to offer test rides"
My reply meant I wasn't welcomed back there🤣

Fitted the kit supplied by AK2M4, sadly the longer nozzle was out of stock so used a short green one. Up to 312 fps on .2g as the spring suggests it should be. Turned out Specna just had some bad air seal I guess 😂 

Bought a PDW stock for my MWS, it needs some DIY for it to fit on a stock lower.

 
 

I've only used the RA-TECH WE Open Bolt NPAS Kit for my Scar & an XM177, there may be better ones others would recommend.

Don't worry, I've got plenty of that stuff. The trouble is that sometimes the ink can still be visible through the polish so it really needs to be removed.
 
I tried a wet cloth but that did nothing so tried alcohol based hand sanitiser and that started to take it off very slowly. Yes this is only a minor issue that can be sorted relatively easily, but what annoyed me is that it didn't need to happen at all if the shop staff had used a little common sense.

How low is low?  If it's under a tenner and been a week then I'd just refund, if more then I'd wait till the specified EVRI delivery time was up.  Not got a glue what this is but Royal Mail is 10 working days.  I'd say 1 in every 200 packages I send goes missing only to turn up on the 10th day.  

Try shimming the inside of the magwell, it's common to use the fuzzy side of velcro

I've bought several items valued between £5 -£300 from the classifieds here & the only issue I had was on a low vaue item (about £10-20), the seller refunded me with no issues & I offered to pay again if it eventually showed up.
You pay your money & take your chances.
TBH I've had more issues with deliveries from retailers.

I have the E&C M110a1 , it’s a decent replica build wise , the plastic furniture is a bit meh with poor stock to tube fit , but otherwise not bad at all , reasonable price at around £325 new ( when I bought mine ) . Mags are cheap , it was running a bit warm out of the box so for the time being it’s had a lower spring popped in , eventually though I’ll get it fitted & fettled for a proper DMR . Might even see a day out in anger after that 😛

Trimming it runs the risk of ruining any air seal it has and for the sake of saving £6, not really worth it. Once the new parts turn up it’s bound to fix the issue. Seems to just be a nozzle issue now.
