How it looked when it arrived & how it looks now... My version of a Colt 9mm SMG Not a lot of modifications required TBH, birdcage muzzle device to replace the XM177 one, barrel cut down & tidied up, 9mm mag insert with paddle release cut down, 3D gas deflector from twistedfate & the ejector cover cut down. Everything else is stock OTB.

Came as a box of bits, not currently working but she may dance again some day. CYMA CM009 M16A3

Dunno if I have any gripes but I've probably been guilty of some/most of the above. I am guilty of lowballing but always happy to haggle with the seller, if I must pick something I don't like it'll probably be not sending feedback after I've sent mine.

Got this from Defcon Airsoft, it's a Double Bell so nothing fancy & is unlikely to ever see any gameplay. It's a base AR for a Colt 9mm SMG build, I'm not a thread counter so I'll get it as close as I can without getting stupid. Got a gas deflector to rattle can then fit, inner barrel to cut down (where's my dremel?) and the mag release to cut flush in the magwell then Bob's your auntie & Fanny's your craddock.

The pre cold war pews I've bought recently did't have enough room on my display so a couple of PPSH were sat in a corner looking sad, I bought the M2 Carbine on Sunday and this prompted a wee rejigging of my walls, My'sniper' wall was bigger but with less toys so I swopped them about & here are the results. My other walls will need a tidy soon too as I've sold 3 and got another AR on it's way from Defcon.

Rule of thumb is 60-70% of current new prices so £500-600 with the mags IMO.

Even something like command strips that will come off easily? a small bit of foam maybe even cut wedge shaped or just chamfered so you can still insert a mag without breaking it off?

Just trying to think of other ways for you to solve this without modifying/ damaging your RIF... Gonna sound daft but try adding foam inside the paddles so you could still depress them but wouldn't release the mag if bumped? Foam like the stuff that comes in rif packaging? If it works you could look at a more permenant diy fix.

I never wear a watch these days, I'm a butcher so haven't worn a watch for hygiene reasons (at work) for over 40 years so never been in the habit of wearing one (still get the odd birthday or xmas pressie watch from family members that have NEVER seen me wear one). These days I use my phone for the time & in game I either move forward with the rest of the slowpokes & wait for the whistle or whoops when the target is taken/overrun.

Yeah, I'm not keen of importing from the US just now anyway, even before the $175 + postage is considered.

I honestly have no idea, but... if the hop is fixed are you able to turn the inner barrel so it hops in a better angle?

a riser must be the cheapest solution & zero consequences.
