  1. Snitches get stitches...
  2. Common sense should apply here, I've bought 77 rif's second hand from here with relitively few issues (as above), admittedly most are wall hangers but they all work apart from a few boneyards that I knew had issues, I have 5 rifs in my collection that I've listed as faulty but I'm pretty sure they were all sold as boneyard, the ones I fixed were sold as working( I think). I have a couple that I remember thinking they were metal bodied & they turned out to be 'sportline' but the only rif I regret buying was brand new & not to scale so it's never seen the light of day (we don't talk about the blue one's). If in doubt... don't buy, if disapointed or feel scammed there's always the paypal claim process (honest sellers have nothing to fear). On a possitive note, I'll have more weekends off soon and have already started preparing myself & collection for potential game days, even second hand purchases from the classifieds.
  3. That doesn't surprise me. 😉
  4. My last game I had 6 hi caps lol.
  5. Now you MUST show the rig that'll hold all those mags.
  6. Just don't smoke while you do it or you'll remove a few more layers than expected.
  7. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing, the only issues I've had with any second hand rif is when someone's tried their own teching. Mostly little things that just weren't done right... Scar-H GBBR nozzle pin incorrectly inserted causing damage SVU safety inserted wrong way round & screws missing from bi-pod Honey Badger main spring changed at some point & the plate holding it in was a goosed bit of metal & selector plate missing HK416 with a wobbly rail due to barrel nut cross threaded so wouldn't tighten AK47 under folder motor incorrectly fitted causing a goosed gearbox numerous loose screws that simply needed a wee tighten. Thankfully not many issues that even an airsoft imbecile like me could identify & fix or replace the parts but obvious enough to tell what they did wrong.
  8. OI, DON'T DRAG ME INTO THIS. 😉
  9. Aye, but the tartan almost makes up for your crime. Nothing major from me today, needed a rear iron sight for my LR300.
  10. September 30th 2022 I had 1 RIF, now I have no savings.
  11. Is it wobbly when extended or just when retracted?
  12. You might wind hicap mags but TBH 1 Highcap wound properly just once will allow hundreds of shots before you have to wind again, With low caps (for the realism) you'll need to reload about 5-6 mags for the same capacity. I use both & prefer using hicaps in my AEG's, GBBR you're limited to around 30 shots in each mag.
  13. There's a quote from someone from a few months ago... If your bills are paid you have no-one to answer to except yourself. 😉
  14. As with ALL products that are mass produced... they sometimes fail, which is a good enough reason for renting until you get your UKARA (min 56 days from your first game), that'll give you plenty time to decide if you like it & want to buy the gear you want. If you're a mountain biker you'll already know how things go... start off with a lowish budget and more than double your investment on stuff that make the experience more enjoyable or simply guchi. It's not a cheap hobby but could easily be done on any budget, you'll need to play 3 games at the same site, 2 within 56 days & 1 after 56 to get registered, once you have your UKARA you'll know if you want to continue & you'll have seen the kit others use (they may even let you try their pews), you'll easily learn what you like or don't like, most (but not all) are AR, AK, H&K based and are multi adaptable without any tech skills. Read the threads in these forums & drool over the pics and you'll pick up on any issues with makes or models of pews, some low budget items are cracking to use & some high end items are difficult to use consistantly but most are rewarding to use with regular cleaning & maintenance. I personally started with a two tone Scar-L which cost me £159.99 and I used it in most games until I got my UKARA & went MAD with my budget.
  15. 7 inches wide & 2 inches long.
  16. Just lining in my new F90 and a couple of moves due to displaced RIF's.
  17. I got an XL nuprol case with pick n pluck... don't do it. I've recently bought wave foam to replace it.
  18. Me too 😉 I know there are plenty of others out there with better collections tho.
