So many AEG's use m4 mags... go for something different. About 28 of mine use M4/stanag etc mags & everyone of those AEG's is different from the next, less than half are M16/M4 variants.

There's a boneyard M14 in the classifieds, might be worth making an offer to use for parts if they're compatible

It's really a collectors piece for me or I'd remove the handle, the FLC is comfier with the exact same loadout. edit... even with a heavier loadout.

Unfortunately this applies to many male airsofters too... yes I'm in that category. I wanted a mk4 in my collection & got one to wear in game too... damn thing weighs a tonne. Out of the gear I have, the best/comfiest is an old DPM chest rig, the most uncomfortable is this UCP TAP vest( the layout is fine but the drag handle digs into the back of my neck due to ALL the weight being at the front, the DPM one is a better design but not adaptable with molle. As above there are much better/tacticool chest rigs on the market, have you tried a belt kit/webbing?

I swopped out the mag on mine without any fit issues but it's never been fielded, I got 0.96j 287.6fps on 0.2's. I felt the battery fitting to be a complete pain but as I said I've never fielded it.

This was my first google find but I'm not keen on the design, I've ordered one from Bullseye Sports now.

These seem to be the most customisable pistols out there, try using it in game before you spend hundreds of £ on a £90 sidearm.

Please don't waste your money on an AEP, you will regret it. Get a used pistol from the classifieds, they're usually good value & might come with an extra mag too, gas isn't expensive either & you'll never use much in a pistol. I've yet to use a secondary in a game (don't play much to be fair), so a used pistol would do the job for you.

Can you tell what I'm going for with this...? I'll eventually get another XM177 to use as a DoE Colt SMG, need to source a deflector (that won't cost the earth in postage) & a straight MP5 mag. Was impressed by the seller in HK making my UKARA very obvious & they listed the adaptor as a $10 toy.

Ah, but the closest I've gotten to 'making' something was ripping the guts out of a stanag to house the AR57 battery.
