  1. Patience is a virtue, Alloa is just a few miles away from me & the whole area was affected by storm Eowyn, I'm waiting on a small item too that is being returned by Royal Mail as they can't read my address, I'm pretty sure the posty was juggling it in the high winds & dropped it in a puddle. Your package will arrive soon just like mine.
  2. Look through the classifieds, I'm sure there was a MadMax up for sale.
  3. TBH 70% of current cost is around the £310 mark. You seem take care of your toys so if I was buying the £280-300 would prob be my all in price but I'd prob offer you £230 to start with. 😉
  4. Edit the add to wanted instead of for sale yup
  5. It's too cold up here for any other meaningful (to me or Tinder) data. It was the cheapest (that I saw) on Fleabay or Amazon, had no idea it could waste more of my time than noting fps on a spreadsheet I have.
  6. Do I feel a dufuss or what? Got one of these well over a year ago and got it out to check the fps & j's of the toys I've recently bought but it wasn't working, was sure this had happened before & it just needed charging up so I plugged it in and went searching for reasons for the error on YouTube, as I was watching a review from an Aussie guy I realised the model I had could connect to the app on my phone (once I downloaded it). I'm on holiday this week so guess what I'll be doing all week... Nope, not the hoovering (that badly needs done) Nope, not the laundry (that badly needs doing) Nope, not the Eowyn garden tidy (that badly needs doing) or any other chore that I can ignore for a few days. This week, I'll mainly be saving data (that I really don't need) to an app on my phone.
  7. I really didn't like how my wall looked in the pics above so I spent some time today fixing it. Still need to find a place for a G36C, Scar-L both two tones that I'll rattle can some day & an M4 I'll just put behind my Mk18mod1.
  8. To be fair I've seen you selling some great items.
  9. Have you tried Co2 mags? I believe they work better in the cold & you might not fall into the HPA 'dream'
  10. My comment was in jest, if you do a word search in the classifieds it'll give you a fair idea of a second hand price in the UK, if you're from the states then this isn't the best place to ask as availability & market prices will be different. In saying that... well done, it's a fantastic prize.
  11. Oh well then... I'll take it off your hands & you'll be £200 better off.
  12. So bought it to sell? second hand rule of thumb is 60-70% of the current cost price, with it being second hand but unused maybe more to the correct buyer.
  13. Might help if you change this to wanted.
  14. This was waiting for me as I got home from todays efforts at POW. Temporarily replaced the carry handle for a rear sight off an Mk18mod0 build.
  15. To do what? The lugs broke off & I'm sure it worked fine after I shook the bits out of the pew, I replaced it as it would keep me awake at night if I didn't 🙂
  16. Way ahead of you. 😉 TBH I had this on a Mk18mod0 build so I'll need to replace it at some point.
  17. They broke off & affected the performance at the time, enough to be relegated to the boot of my car, on closer investigation I found the issue & replaced it, the lugs are cosmetic but it was only £30 inc postage to replace it. I've kept it as spare parts as it fits my Scar-H too.
  18. I HONESTLY & I can't stress this enough as I DON'T KNOW but would heat bring the shine back to the plastic, Like they do for stadium seats? I remember seeing a plastics rejuventator advertised in a bike mag too that's just wiped on with a sponge/applicator.
  19. First skirmish of the year for me, Yellow team (us) were tasked with attacking the ammo dump & lobbing a bomb in to win... yellows were made up of the usual diehards and slowpokes (mainly me) & a couple of friendly renters. Yellow won but IMO reds played a cracking game, they really took the 'best form of defence is attack' ideology to heart, after yellows took the main bunker one sneaky red calmly knived about 3 or 4 of us from behind and shot another couple from right in the middle of our group, to be fair (and in his own words) he then got LIT UP, this seemed to form the reds whole gameplay as at least 5 or 6 would try to flank us but we got wise, they did get a couple of us but on the whole were repelled, I got a couple before getting teamkilled & had to watch a red walk right past me as I waited my 3mins (no chance of a medic). Game 2, yellows were to defend the bank full of gold, if the reds captured it yellows were then on the attack to try and recapture it. I set up camp in a bunker knowing the attackers often swarm from that side & swarm they did. I only got 1 before taking a hit so off to the spawn point I went, I returned to another bunker at the side of the game area but a red with great range caught me & as I headed back to the spawn I decided to head home, not gonna lie but my boot full of bog water & mud was bugging me a lot, I'm fat lad and enjoy the site on a dryish day but adding another couple of kg's to my footwear broke my fun button. I took the HK416A5 (used for game 1) which performed very well but would benefit from a stronger spring (might try a bigger battery first). My L85A1 was used in game 2 but as I was removing the sling the reds attacked & I panicked, threw it at my feet & started pewing in their direction, I remembered about the sling as I headed to the spawn point but TBH decided the trip back wasn't worth the effort so told one of the renters where it was & that he (Ross) was welcome to it. I had the T3 MC51 in the car as a backup, a Browning Hi-power & P38 as sidearms but they never left the boot of my car. On the whole I enjoyed my games right up to when I went knee deep into a bog, POW is my usual site and I'd recommend it to any players close enough to travel to it. p.s. this was waiting at the door for me so just as well I'd left early.
  20. This is airsoft... coz you want it is justification enough.
  21. The nozzle locking lugs, big chunks broke off as I went to crono it last July.
