    Is that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game at MCG The Gaol, Sarge?

     

    I'm supposed to be going but I haven't sorted out a ticket or even checked kit requirements, basically just said "yeah" to an offer to go with Bottledtorment and a mate of his. Do you have a linky, or is it just find it/or not on their bloody fb page?

     

    What guns are you taking?

     

    Yup, 10/11/12 October - I am on S.T.A.L.K.E.R side, there's only places left on Military side. Be good if you can go. I am taking my AK104, 416, shotgun and glock IF I can get either the CYMA or G&G AIMS before the event, then ill replace the 416 with that

     

    Kit requirements are as follows for military:

     

     

    A team of veteran Ukrainian paratroopers many of which served in the 2012 Red Forest conflict. These soldiers have experienced some of the toughest and most hostile environments and feel no fear in the face of danger. Many of them know that this operation could be their last. If they do not die in battle, they will likely die from the radiation exposure.

    Clothing:

    Camouflage (Preferably woodland)

    Tactical and more regimented military attire. Body armour, tac-vests, chest rigs etc. Helmets, knee and elbow pads, berets, bandanas worn on the head.

    (For players who are unable to meet the outfit requirements and could be mistaken for a Stalker player, they will be issued with a blue/yellow armband to wear clearly on their right upper arm)

    Thoughts on the CYMA AIMS AK

    I am trying to shift my CA MK46 support gun in order to get more AK love into my life

    I have Googled and found a few videos which give a nice overview, however, cannot find much 'real world' experience etc...

     

    I was also looking at the G&G GIMS, http://www.guay2.com/web/gt_product/gims.php?lang=en however, I am put off by the built in LIPO battery, I have heard with some models of their MP5 that the grip wobbled causing loss of power due to the contacts not meeting, so concerned this may happen with the G&G, whereas with the CYMA, the battery is under the top cover

     

    Thoughts?

    THE CNPP

    Since the Chernobyl reactor meltdown in 1986, the area surrounding the CNPP has created its own unique and highly dangerous habitat from the high amounts of radiation. Strange anomalies have appeared, animals mutated and rare natural artifacts have been created. A wide restricted cordon surrounds the worst affected areas, commonly known as the ‘Zone’ including Chernobyl and the now deserted city of Pripyat. The only occupants of the zone are scavengers and military contractors known as stalker’s, looking to cash in on the rare artifacts and their unique properties. Scientists have also been known to venture into the zone to try and solve some of the many mysteries the zone provides and the Ukrainian military are often seen patrolling the boarders.

    In October 2012 a large nuclear storm erupted in the zone, known as an ‘emission’, causing a huge change in the environment. In one area of dense woodland located a few miles from the CNPP, vast amounts of anomalies and artifacts had been naturally created as a result of these storms. According to the Ukrainian Government this ‘Red Forest’ was deemed to be a high threat to the rest of the country if such artifacts were to escape the zone. As a result the Ukrainian Military sent in a highly trained unit to eliminate all witnesses and seize all dangerous materials.

    After days of fierce fighting, It appeared that the Ukrainian forces were unsuccessful in their attempt to liberate the Red Forest, however in March 2014 intelligence was leaked that suggested that this was a decoy to allow the Ukrainian military to move on the rebel occupied CNPP and eradicate the source of the corruption once and for all...

    Bolle Rush+ Platinum Safety Glasses

    OK so I would definitely recommend these glasses. Used them all day Saturday and they didn't fog up once. They were very clear to the point where sometimes I forgot I was even wearing them.

    I will definitely be picking up a pair of the full seal Cobra versions for CQB.

    This was the setup I was wearing for Woodland at MAW on Saturday (Apologies for quality of photos, I was using the front camera on my phone)

    Nice trigger discipline :P

    Seems the appropriate amount of trigger discipline for when there are Zombies about!

     

     

     

    This is something lightweight I've thrown together for CQB but primarily for zombie games. It's lacking the eye pro and my half face mesh mask because it looks cooler this way ;).

    I think it might be missing something if anybody has any ideas? I put my knee pads on and it didn't look right and a shemagh didn't look apocalyptic enough. I could do with some pouches to mount on my belt for my mags and cowboy boots and a machete would make it but would reduce skirmishability somewhat. Also, if I didn't like the shirt so much I'd cover the thing in blood and mud.

     

     

     

    Is that shotgun the Ithaca? How do you find loading it? Is it single or trishot?
