  1. Just had my Holy Warrior S1 randomly turn up today despite claiming that it was going to be delivered on the 29th of April at the earliest

Love me some Aliexpress, shame they can't show parts in the searches anymore tho

I think Ali just does this every time (or at least the couple of times I've used them), they deliberately massively over-estimate shipping duration to cover their butts.

  2. Hi, Me and a mate recently picked up a Jefftron equipped AEG off a gent on here, and after fucking around with it for a while (seriously, why do you need a password for your gun lmfao) we managed to get it working apart from a few niggles with the selector - with it not being able to pick up the stickers on the plate to indicate what firing mode it's in (it thinks all three positions are safe) So, we go and look on Jefftron's website and fresh new stickers are available for a few quid - perfect, we think; only to realise that due to our fellow countrymen a few years back they no longer do UK shipping and instead require a £50 worldwide option for a set of 3 quid stickers. So, any ideas or pointers? Willing to buy any leftover sets if anybody has them spare from their unit...
  3. Any reccomendations for G36 mid-caps? My JG high caps I bought keep skipping ammo in firing with my particular G36 and I'm tired of being as much of a human maraca - I bought one of the Novritsch SSR63 A1 mags just to try and while they require a little knock to get in they feed way better, just I can't be fucked having a nightmare with customs and having to pay so much shipping for just a few mags. Any ideas for alternatives?

  4. Had a friend's AUG barrel-release button ping off somewhere in it's last outing - anybody know where to source a replacement? It's a snow wolf SW-020 and from what I can tell it'll take TM parts, but I've no idea where to source an exploded parts diagram to get the part ID let alone find a replacement. Any ideas?

I can always take mine off and measure it if someone can do a 3d print or something. Not ideal but Aug bits are few and far between!

@Egon_247with dimensions I could design and print a replacement.

Samoon will sell you one for the GHK AUG, which will probably be compatible.

  5. Airsoft's really kicking my ass lately. Last outing I had had my CYMA plat SR-25 die for no reason, alongside my DE UTR-45 [the SR-25 has randomly revived itself the other day but for how long i don't know, UTR still dead], then my WE G18c exploded it's internals and is now light-striking with the new steel replacement ones, and then today my VFC USP9 which has been rock-steady since I bought it as my first rif has shit the bed too - the fuck is going on? Lmao

  6. Handy bit of advice! Will keep this in mind when I eventually fall down the comms rabbithole [me and my mate just got our first comms, a set of Baofeng-888S which considering it was like 20-something quid; two units, two chargers and two sets of all the accessories plus a nice little.. poundland in-ear microphone each really isn't too bad!], PTT looks like an terrifying money pit and I dare not put a foot in that puddle just yet or I might end up homeless. Speaking of things I've bought - I decided to get brave and take down the fire-control group on my WE G18c that I bought off here second hand and promptly fixed, then modified, then restored to it's rightful status as a WE G18 (completely fucking broken lmao) and turns out the hammer wasn't a fan of.. full auto mag-dumping with an aftermarket +50% or so recoil spring. In 28 degree weather. Using red gas. Four times in quick succession. Turns out, these are supposed to be together... It might have been a little moment of weakness, but - my nephew thought it was the coolest thing ever! Steel replacements have been ordered for the entire hammer assembly alongside a new return spring (the old one decided to snap in half when I took a pair of pliers to it and embeded spring steel powder in my middle finger, wasn't the nicest!) alongside some of the annoying springs in-case they decide to ping off the bloody thing into outer space to never be witnessed by a human being ever again. Plus an enhanced nozzle to install when the green one either explodes from red-gas abuse or when I can be bothered. Now all I need is a BlackHawk for the thing but poor Klarna's been abused enough for one week. Amen. MOLLE grenade pouch also on the way for the little Novritsch gas refiller container thingy.
  7. True, I was really looking forward to a few videos of the insane DSG wankergun mentioned in the OP as I think they're just awesome showpieces to wow people with at the firing range (although it's a bit of a different story when you decide to shoot poor rental man dave and his little lad 120 times in two seconds, which I hope people don't unironically do with said wankerguns lol)
  8. Probably best day of airsoft I've had so far in the last year of playing - kneepads and an anti-fog unit + glasses insert for my goggles made playing so much better. Or, it was the best day of playing until two of my guns decided to go click and die of death for no reason... Go airsoft!!!! 🙃

  9. I grabbed the universal adapter as reccomended here the other day and while it's not perfect (the strap struggles a little with the extremely long UMP style magazines) it works well-enough, esp. compared to the agony of using shitty cheap speedloaders that get jammed every three seconds. I just wish there was a way to snap the mags in like how the M4 mags go in - that'd be perfect. Oh well - universal is good enough for now but I'll have to keep an eye out for a proper UTR-45 adapter as the platform gets more and more popular. Cheers for all the pointers lads
  10. Evening lads, I field a VFC USP9 as my primary sidearm but it's unfortunately a bit of an oddball (seriously, you search 'USP' and nothing but the HK45 or the MK23 comes up) meaning that 'upgrades' and parts in general are very scarce or non existent - however last month I decided to pick up a WE G18c and did some little bits to it while I was fixing the mags (was missing followers) and the modification that impressed me the most was the little RATech recoil spring and buffer set that was around 150% strength, as it overall just made the pew feel so much more responsive both in shooting and handling, with the much more positive slide racking being my favourite detail. Or, it was - until I got a little excited when my little nephew came round and I decided on the amazing idea of firing full-auto mag dumps with red gas in 28 degree weather which has completely fucked the thing. That cockup aside - this got me thinking - would a HK45 'enhanced recoil spring' be a drop in fit? Each GBB pistol on Eagle6 is specific to a certain model so I was just wondering what the differences were and if it'd be viable to pick up a set for a different pew to try it in the USP9. I'm not looking for insane performance gains or whatever - I just want the awesome feeling positive feedback of racking the slide and firing it that's present in my G18 (although my USP is the only one that actually works at the moment!) So yeah, if anybody else is a USP9 enthusiast who's done this to theirs, or has experience dealing with slightly uncommon variants of GBB pistols they field - do let me know
  11. If you want a little more out of your AEG but don't want to run the risk of 11.1v, try a 9.9V LiFe. It's great for giving your pew a little bit more zip without worrying about as much heat and voltage going through the gun. However, considering it's a EMG CYMA (aka a platinum) it already has 13:1s inside and a nice little mosfet. It'll take fine to an 11.1v as my CYMA platinum SR-25 takes a 11.1v on DMR power no problem (it runs colder than my G36 and UTR does in fact, but that's also because they both have SHS high torques and they love shitting out heat), although on sustained full auto you do run a higher risk of shit going tits-up as you'll be firing fast enough to not notice a jam in time on full auto, meaning you could end up slamming a broken BB around your gearbox at mach-10 which tends to break shit (which happened to my G36 that was running at speed on full auto before I had the gears swapped out) Wankerguns are a fun novelty so long as you're not, well - a wanker with them. I normally only put my high-speed G36 on 11.1v when at the range when I want to wank out a little and show some of the newer guys some A10 minigun fire for a laugh. As long as the semi-auto is nice enough, and if you're running at crazy RPS on 11.1v with three-round burst programmed on your mosfet to stop accidental grenading of your gearbox I don't see the harm in it really. Just be reasonable and respect the other players and you should be good. Airsoft honour and morality aside: Yes - your CYMA EMG/Platinum will take an 11.1v no problem. Is it worth it? Eh. Try a 9.9v LiFe instead if you want a little more than a 7.4v without wanking too-bad.
  12. As the title says, anybody have any idea on a solution for a M12 sidewinder's adapter for the Double Eagle UTR-45? Loading the magazines manually is a nightmare and it feels like I spend half the game day doing so but I can't find any sort of adapter for the UTR magazines, as apparently the G&G PCC45's adapter doesn't work with the UTR magazines according to a reviewer. Any ideas?
  13. Meanwhile, the greatest improvement to the VMP's looks... Pisstaking aside I think you might be onto something. If you could break up the silhouette of just 'plastic brick with a handle' it might be bareable enough to use (if you're stevie wonder, anyway). I'd still take a KWA MP9 for a few quid extra any-day if they were in bloody stock anywhere.
  14. Probably something to do with the fact that the KWA MP9 is out of stock everywhere and everybody just wants a GBB-thingy that they can actually get their hands on brand-new. Plus MP9 owners can now get alright mags for cheap, so it's a win-win despite how ugly the thing is.
  15. Hi lads, Recently decided to bite the bullet and grab myself a SHS high torque to throw in the workhorse [for better or for worse] just to see what'd happen, considering there's a SHS high torque in my G36 and that thing's a fucking animal (although it was fully built by a very certain sweary man down in reading so it's not exactly a fair comparison) So, here it is: a fully apples-to-apples comparison between the standard, rumoured anemic motor that comes in the M917 as standard compared to the power-sucking demon that is the SHS high torque [in comparison anyway] utr45 motor comparison.mp4 Alright, no idea what happened with the video size there. I edited it for facebook sharing with our local airsoft group so my apologies. Pop it in fullscreen in the player for now I guess lol
  16. Turns out a pair of round-nose pliers was just about perfect for getting the gas tank's main valve off. Ordered em here. Tank went back together lovely [after a few hours soaking the o-rings in abbey silicon oil] and it worked fine on the game day the day after. Or, well - as well as a unmodified gas shotgun "works" out in a woodland field anyway Now, to ward off the devils trying to get me to drop 300 quid on wiitech upgrade-y bits... -on my shitty second-hand GE clone that was less than a hundred quid...
  17. Ordered a hopefully well sized set of both and I'll just be praying it'll work. Will keep you lads updated, appreciate the help!
  18. Yeah, looks the same as the valve key I nabbed and that was in the photo. No dice on mine, unfortunately Was half thinking of just cutting a tiny slit in both sides so you can fit a flathead in like a TM tank, and considering the TM tanks work fine in the GE 870 I can't see it having any issues.
  19. Hi lads This is a complete shot in the dark but after tearing my hair out and searching everywhere I just can't find an answer - what kind of valve key do you need to take this bloody thing out?? Every thread, forum or video I've seen simply says "just use a flathead" (which is impossible as the GE 870 doesn't have slots like the TM 870 which is what every video/post is about) and despite having the parts to repair this thing for literal months at this point I've just been stuck unable to get this bloody valve out. I tried ordering a valve tool in the vague hopes of it working (pictured below) and while one of the styles is correct it doesn't fit and therefore the valve is still stuck. As it will be forever, apparently. Anybody got any ideas? It's driving me nuts, espcially when the only results that come up with regards to the GE 870 on google are just pages to buy the fucking thing and nothing else. Cheers
  20. Was a full 360 mate, was why I ended up returning them to the retailer. Shame, but what can you do. And on the topic of retailers.. As much as I was hell-bent on hating the P-mags I can't help but feel that these kind of look fucking cool and I don't hate them, as cheesy as the mock bullet window is. They fit and feed flawlessly which is the more important thing obviously. We'll see if they'll hold up any well on Sunday's game!
  21. Yeah, checked inside and there's no tape, strips or anything of the like that could be causing problems. I married the two different mags up together to try and see if there's a size difference and to the naked eye I couldn't really tell. From what I know, the hop looks completely standard and when I was trying to insert the mid-caps in they started to get stuck way, way before it was even near the hop. Looks like those bastard P-mags are the easy way out while I wait for the A&K ones to go back in stock (as I read that they fit nicely inside the platinum 098). Whatever works, at the end of the day! Edit: Just ordered the Nuprol ones with the cool little round-window as they're more likely to come in time for Sunday's game. If they decide to give me murder I'll look at the battleaxe ones just like you said.
  22. Hi lads, first post on here so forgive the dodgy etiquette or if I've missed something I recently picked up one of the CYMA Platinum CM.098s, the 'quick-detach suppressor' variant (that was robbed of a 14mm ccw thread for whatever reason) from a fella used and while it's in relatively nice nick one problem I have is that I've only got one grubby high-cap magazine with it, which while it fits lovely I'd much rather prefer to use mid-caps. However, and herein lies the problem - I just can't find the right ones. I ordered a set of three CYMA SR-25 midcaps (pictured above), the STANAG style straight metal ones as I prefer the look to the overly tacticool P-Mags and after they finally arrived I've been met with the unfortunate problem that they're extremely, extremely tight - to the point that you practically have to massage them into place and they don't drop at all whenever you push the mag release and even tried to leave a couple of marks on the thin and thick sides of the magazine after only one insertion (which thankfully was barely surface level and rubbed off fine with zero damage to the magazine, as I ended up returning these to the retailer just before) as I was forced to practically yank the things out, the fitment was that tight. So, I was wondering - do any other CYMA Platinum SR-25 owners have any solutions for a decent mid-cap? I'm not fully opposed on going the plastic-high-speed-operator style if the fitment is good enough, but the classic straight box mag look would be ideal. Thanks in advance!
