  1. Arrived today after enough fucking around with Parcelforce being useless as usual - I've done a complete 180 on the MPX style stock as suprisingly I absolutely love it! Got stuck right in & now it looks awesome, a little adjustment of the motor height to align it properly and it's now absolutely singing on 11.1v (fair warning, 7.4v & 9.9v aren't enough to drive the mosfet and will cause semi to become a three shot inconsistent burst and it sounds very unhappy) Absolutely made up with it. Massive thanks to everybody in this thread for putting me onto this thing & and I can't wait to field it! (after I get some batteries that fit the PEQ lol)
  2. Got my hands on a WELL WE-10-1 today (SIG MCX RATTLER), absolutely in love with the thing. For £180 it might just dethrone the DE UTR as the go-to choice for an awesome polymer bodied but extremely capable ready OOTB gun, thing is absolutely stonking on 11.1v (7.4v and 9.9v don't work properly though lol) Absolutely pisses & shits all over the 'Sig Air' VFC if you can get over the polymer body, and considering how nice it shoots I'm sure you can.
  3. EDIT: They completely ignored my email, packed it first thing in the morning while I was in work and couldn’t contact them and it arrives tomorrow. Maybe it’ll grow on me otherwise I’m losing a tenner to send the thing back to get the cool stock 🫠
  4. Just ordered one (the WELL MCX) from Bespoke tonight, hopefully it comes with the nice little trades on. Also ordered the sliding stock instead of the side folding one, so oops. Hopefully they can send me the other one instead because I've gotten in contact.
  5. Where'd you get it from? Interested in picking one up considering the price & does it have the SIG trades wherever you got it from?
  6. Fine rain is a bastard, piss wet through. Here's a lovely picture of me where I'm completely covered by a tree branch looking very tactical and "my boonie was ordered last minute and is completely the wrong colour" pilled: The hop unit that comes in the CYMA Plat. SLR Rifleworks AK is complete wank, by the way - .28s, .30s, .32s all either dribble out of the barrel or overhop completely. Tried three different rubber & nub combos, and a completely new barrel, but apart from that being extremely annoying it was a good time. Come to think of it, all AK hop units are apparently wank as my mate's recently built by Negative Airsoft LCT RPK is currently sending 0.32s to the moon with zero hop applied, which is a shame because he was really looking forward to using it. I just need to move to an M4 like everybody else..
  7. Anybody know what lower'll fit a VFC YHM M16A2 (AEG) upper? Have had one laying around for ages and want to build it into something but the YHM lowers are absolute unobtanium

  8. Yup bud, the SRC - it's just a TM clone with a metal slide & support for CO2 mags. It's really fun to shoot but the QC is a little iffy because the second one I got in for a friend doesn't reliably lock back (and the co2 mag's threads are made of cheese and got fucked the first time I tried putting a bulb in, so I just bought him a gas mag because I felt bad) I tried to return it but the retailer went 'nope it's your fault' because of the mag (which was my fault tbh) even though there's something actually wrong with the slide catch getting stuck and not locking back, so just be a little precious with it just in case you lose the QC lottery so you can return it properly lol Currently waiting on a H/I key & ML barrel to be back in stock on empire and I'll pop that in to see if it's a little more performant - the USP9 unfortunately doesn't get much love with regards to aftermarket and finding any info on them is a pain in the ass (which is why my poor VFC lays broken in a pistol case, zero info online about it apart from retailer listings of them)
  9. I'm guilty of this. I called my MP5 this when the solid stock and c-more arrived as I was wanking myself off furiously looking at it because it looked so cool
  10. THIS ADVERT IS 'UNCOMPLETED' - THIS MEANS THE ADVERTISER HASN'T BUMPED THIS LISTING, BUT IT COULD STILL BE WORTH CONTACTING THEM.

Cyre/G3 clone purchased from overseas the other year, didn't fit me too well and has sat packaged up since. UBACs style top fits like a medium or so (the arms are a little short on me personally): £15 G3 pants are around a 38"~ waist with a long leg: £15 Kneepads come in a larger and smaller flavour, as shown in the picture: £10 Will post as a full set for £25. Cheers.

  11. Pretty sure the Umarex USP Compact is OEM'd by KWA so it might feel a little different compared to the VFC. Mine didn't have the trigger-bar break but instead the valve knocker doesn't reset correctly so it just pisses all of the gas out when it strikes, alongside the mag release dying of death from repeated high intensity larping at home. Oopsies. VFC/Umarex also make a P8A1 if you're so inclined, which is practically the same but with a slightly different decocker design and different markings (bundeswehr spec, but otherwise exactly the same as the normal USP 9mm)
  12. The one in the picture is a SRC SR-SP, which is practically a TM USP clone with a metal slide & support for co2 magazines. QC is a little iffy on them but they have awesome blowback and feel awesome to shoot, although just like my other (now broken) USP9 it struggles a lot in colder weather. If you're keen on trades and want a better performer - the TM's a much better option but keep in mind it uses a plastic slide so if you'd want a metal one you'd have to track down a detonator or nova slide and have it fitted/fit it, and they're rare as hen's teeth & cost a fortune. The base TM is also a bit pricer than the other offers, and much much pricer if you're including the cost of a metal slide if you're so inclined. If you want a metal slide, decent-enough performance and the trades the Umarex (OEM'd by VFC) USP9 is a neat enough option and was what I was using before it shit the bed and stopped working, and considering there's zero information on in anywhere I couldn't fix it, hence why I ended up with the SRC. Second one down's the Umarex/VFC, top is the SRC. Also, a brand new WE P229 which I've just bought, which is lovely.
  13. anybody know a good place to pick up some M81 woodland? kinda miss the DPM NBC suit I used to wear when I first started but I'm over getting covered in shit because of the charcoal lining lol and a normal DPM set is a little beige for me

If it looks cool I don't really mind tbh, kinda wanted a hooded smock and some decent pants without spending a million quid really

"poolssurplus" had some M81 on clearance a little while back, think there was some hooded jackets too 👀

Military 1st had trousers on sale a few weeks back, and I think that's where I got my shirt from as well.

  14. The guy(s) she tells you not to worry about & for a bit of brevity [because it feels like I keep posting the same images] my mate's LCT RPK-74: (yes, it's the one from the video & yes, after waiting on the list for a few months on Monday he found out it was completely fucked on the inside after Luke took a look at it which ended up with a new LCT casing, new mosfet, gears etc so it cost a fortune lol)
  15. My friend's had his SSR4 since we both started airsoft over two years ago and it's never missed a beat - pretty sure he's never even cleaned the thing (I've offered lol) and it just troopers on while sounding decent & shooting with good range, so for the price & white glove aftercare you can't really go wrong, esp. with the new version two of it coming out like you've mentioned
  16. 100% agree - you're paying for the white glove service and bragging rights more than anything. I've tried one of the bolster ARs when somebody had one at our site and they're fucking awesome and all but not £1399 awesome at the end of the day. If money's no object (which it doesn't look like, considering they're looking at expensive pre-builts) I'd suggest they either look into a 'custom' pre-built sourced from the UK (bolster, DCA do them iirc and a few other places) that has a warranty so they don't have to worry, or just pony-up and buy a few decent pews & send them off to a decent tech to get done instead if they're chasing high end performance & parts [which doesn't always mean better!]
  17. Lovely c-more clone that was slated for a 9th of december delivery decided to come today, seems lovely so far and was cheap as chips. Looks awesome on the MP5 and I'll probably try it on the AK at some point.
  18. Starting to realise I might have a type
  19. They're a US-based youtube channel that started by posting builds, guides and tutorials showcasing their work on customer guns, eventually moving onto developing/adding input for custom parts to have made [ala negative helping to spec out and design parts] and from the outside looking in they've got good results. This is no different to the idea of Bolster armoury stuff, high end prebuilts that have warranties so if money's no object and you just want """"the best"""" or whatever I don't see why it's such a bad thing, even if it's pretty tasteless imo (the black topographic markings are cool though) The limits of 400/350 are probably for outdoor/indoor limts in the US. From what I'm guessing these use a CYMA MK18 platinum (or whatever it's called in the US, a EMG? idk lol) as a base gun with the topgraphic markings and receiver cuts milled/cnc cut into the receiver alongside the drop stock and other maxx parts added. Them being US based is a bit of a nightmare though as I've no idea if they've got somebody this side of the pond to do repair work or maintenance, and the DSG linked in the OP will need looking at every now and again because it's a 40 RPS DSG at the end of the day, or if they'll even ship to the UK regardless with all the hoops you've got to jump through to do so. Like everybody else has said in the replies - you can get in touch with them and let them know what weight & joules you'll be wanting to use and they'll tune the thing to that spec.
  20. My mate's tried 11.1v in his and while it cycles fine the mags can't seem to keep up with feeding because it's really chucking some ammo out. You can always use the perun's ROF reduction in the programming mode (white light) to reduce the ROF if you're adamant on using 11.1v - although 7.4v is more than enough to be fast on semi with a decent ROF in auto. 9.9v LiFe would be awesome but I doubt there's one that'd fit inside the dust-cover properly because they tend to be fucking massive lol
  21. WADSN X300U arrived today alongside a CO2 mag with the cool baseplates, so I took a few neat pictures. Just need to cough up the pennies to send the slide & frame off to West Laser to get engraved and cerakoted and it'll be pretty much done aethestics-wise.
  22. Arrived today, and awkwardly enough... ...It's also a V2, which means I've completely had you off - sorry! I was under the impression it'd be the V1 gas-tank version and from the listing it looked that way but nope, guess they just forgot to update the product page. Hopefully when all of them are out of stock they'll get a few more in? They can't be too expensive to import wholesale considering they're just chinese TM clones, right? First impressions are good - the tank doesn't leak when you put gas into it, which is a nice bonus & it feels a lot smoother in the action compared to my V1 but that could just be the fact it's brand new compared to the absolute state my original GE 870 is in lol, the wood feels cheap but pleasant and it seems to shoot the exact same power as the V1. Hopefully they restock them soon if you're still really keen by the time it comes around & I hope I'm not being a prick and rubbing it in or anything, just thought I'd share the info because the page isn't accurate lol
  23. If they're actually bigger and not just the same size as the breacher ones I could see that being decent - the gas tanks do tend to run out rather quickly & are a fucking nightmare to fill because they piss gas absolutely everywhere, although having multiple gas tanks is a lot easier to carry than a bottle [although you'll need the bottle anyway to refill the gas - means you can take one that's cooling down and pop a warm one in while you're stuck with a cooled-down tank with the v2? idk)
  24. I think I grabbed the last GE Wood 870 on PB, so that's my bad - I didn't even know they'd made a V2 version to be honest, what's the difference? Just the fact it doesn't use removable gas tanks anymore?
