Cyma MP5/G3 claw mount fits perfectly and rock solid. Cyma extended m-lok didn't stay in place due the gun's recoil and it doesn't fully held by those metal tabs on the upper receiver so it's waste of money. Haven't tried Marui ones.
-
Oh that's rubbish. You could still hunt some o rings from ebay and try it with brand new ones.
-
CO2 is known to be extremely dry which means your o rings are not gonna be lubed at all compared to green gas. I'd assume your o rings are completely dried out since they never had any kind of lubrication.

This should be called a "mystery box".

LOL I'd give him some extra point for the marketing bullshit though. Half of these "upgrades" are absolutely unnecessary. 🤣
-
Something like THIS would be the easiest solution but I don't know if there is a difference between cyma and marui dimensions regarding that suppressor. Quite a few people do 3D printing on this forum so if that thing doesn't fit properly or wobbles when you move the gun you could still ask around here to get custom inserts. I think Airtac makes custom work as well but probably it takes some time to get them.

I bought a stick battery to sacrifice just for this particular gun because I knew front wired MP5's are shit regarding battery space. I soldered it to mr30 and then I made a deans to mr30 adapter so I'm able to charge it. I ditched the tamiya to mr30 adapter straight away and even after that I have to pay attention not to snap battery cables but I put a magpul handguard on mine which offers even less space compared to the stock one.
-
You're better off to forget tamiya altogether and solder amass mr30 to your battery. That tamiya to mr30 cable takes up way too much space in the handguard. When you ditch your triangular one for a gucci one you're gonna have even less space to play with.

Earmor/Walker Razor/Howard Leights are priced very similarly and those should be the bare minimum if you don't want to spend big boy money on it. If it has active noise reducing you can't go wrong. I purchased an earmor because people love to shit on it (especially on reddit) so obiously I had to buy one to see if it has any merit or just the usual braindead parroting. So far so good if it breaks I buy something else. 🤯

What does everyone really think of kickingmustang

I met people before who claimed be ex-mil (even if it's true they die just as fast as a rental who never played before) but surely it's more prevalent online. It's the same when you watch a youtube video about guns or modern war history and suddenly everyone is expert and served. 🙃 -
GBB MP7 is a lovely gun (either TM or VFC it doesn't matter as long as you take care of it) but ergonomics isn't for everyone. Reloading is awful and there is limited amount of space compared to any assault rifle sized gun. As other people said it could be easily a gateway drug into GBBR world before you invest more money into it. You could say the same about MP9 and G5 altough you see them a lot less that's for sure.

In the airsoft "community" everyone and their mother are ex-military when in reality people are just full of shit. 🤣 -
Can't wait to see them in the classifieds.

You can get some bits from far east but FNX45 wasn't ever that popular so aftermarket parts are non-existent. Worst case scenario you can still ask VFC itself but it's gonna take some time to ship from Taiwan. Unless someone made an HPA adapter for it my only solution would be is that you hpa tap your magazines but each time you're empty you have to unplug it and plug it into a new one. It's not practical by any means and you need tons of magazines. Airtac UK made a m4 hpa adapter for TM so you could sell yours at some loss and invest into a TM one instead.

Vibration of the GB can alter it. Personally I'd choose an mp5 with slider hop-up like ICS, Cyma, G&G. Whichever is the cheapest and offers the most internally.
-
Is the hop-up based on the old Marui design? Don't touch it with a 10 foot barge pole. That lever thingy isn't gonna stay in place and can snap eventually. For a bit more money ICS would be a better choice.
-
With no hop applied there is always a possibility to get more FPS out of your gun. And depending on the gas pressure you can have hot guns. I'm sure Abbey Predator/Nuprol 1.0 and similar pressured gases should lower your FPS.

Because of the middle RMR I'd say 99% of the holsters isn't gonna fit. Kydex Customs make some holsters for flashlight and tracer combo. And you have those RS ones when your pistol is clamped by a specific flashlight like blackhawk omnivore but it has to be cut to house a tracer. If you don't insist on the middle RMR. An open holster which clamps your trigger guard could be your best bet. Or get a RMR plate which replaces your rear sight but that solution has its own issues.

Building and fine tuning a DMR isn't that simple compared to HPA that's for sure. And you can adjust a hpa on a whim it's just way more comfy. I'm sure polarstar has some engines where you can attach a CO2 capsule or tank. Also, if you have deep pockets you could still buy an used MTW and buy a wraith stock later down the line. You can buy carbon fibre tank for silly money if weight is a real concern. Altough those cheapo 13 CI tanks weight literally nothing so it shoudn't be a big problem. Personally I'd spent the least of money on this adventure because if you don't enjoy it at least you're gonna lose less money on it if you resell it. You could buy used HPA kit or gun as well to be honest. I'm an avid HPA player but outdoor can be problematic because of the line.

If you want to throw BB's further just get heavier ammo like .25 or .28 first and you have to see if you're satisfied with the range and people call their hits or not. Altough lots of watered down stock Marui can shoot quite far with decent ammo and properly set hop-up so you shoudn't have an issue. You could still change your nub/bucking/barrel if you want to.
