Pump-action shotgun requires a completely different approach gamestyle wise compared to an AEG or pistol. Face to face you're not gonna able spam it like a hpa tapped short stroked pistol, feathered hpa engine or trigger response built AEG.
Joule output is more important in my opinion because 3 god forbid 6 bbs does hurt especially when it's a tight grouping.
Altough, your average speedsofter cunt puts the same amount into you in a milisecond so in reality it doesn't really matter.
Also, 6 shots aren't practical because you get out less trigger pull per shell/magazine plus the spread is crazy.
The other thing is that you have to be a real wanker to run it on 6. And sooner or later someone is gonna mention it to the marshall so there is no point to hurt others for some childish power fantasy.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0CHS7C59P/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A2FRKKMHRJRROY&psc=1 Would 1300mAh be enough?
It depends how much you shoot and space to fit it. To simplify it 1300mAh equals ~1300 pull trigger.
Unless I'm mistaken you should aim for always a higher C rating just to make sure your motor can draw enough amp (especially when you spam semi indoor). So 1300:1000=1.3. 1.3x25=32.5 A.

Hey! I was just about to get the vapex ones and they're out of stock EVERYWHERE! 😧
I was just wondering if you know any more reputable brands?
Ones that come with a DEANS connector already in, No extra wire and connection 😞 thank you!
There is no massive difference between batteries in my opinion and they all lie about C ratings anyway.
You can find similar batteries all over ebay/patrolbase/hobbyking etc. -

I like a 1-point attach at the stock base for indoor only games sometimes, but that's because indoor airsoft is very much getting in to the realms of a sport and is extra far removed from almost anything that'd probably happen in real life.
Same goes for outdoor. Airsoft is a silly game and it has nothing to do with reality or real life. Any half decent rifleman puts anyone into their wooden pyjama in a milisecond several hundreds yard away just using 5.45/5.56... In airsoft everything is cover in reality it's concealment at best.It doesn't matter how much money you spent on your gear or how much training you get (proper military training not airsoft training lol 🤣) when you're blown to pieces before you're able to pull the trigger or see your enemy. This war in Ukraine shows to everyone what happens when you stand up against a country like Russia.

Cyma MP5/G3 claw mount fits perfectly and rock solid. Cyma extended m-lok didn't stay in place due the gun's recoil and it doesn't fully held by those metal tabs on the upper receiver so it's waste of money. Haven't tried Marui ones. -

All lubed up the day I got them. Not actually sure what is causing the leak but I lubed them up then took them out and tried again only a few days ago.
Oh that's rubbish. You could still hunt some o rings from ebay and try it with brand new ones.
-
CO2 is known to be extremely dry which means your o rings are not gonna be lubed at all compared to green gas. I'd assume your o rings are completely dried out since they never had any kind of lubrication.

Hi all
Finally picked up an MP5 SD6 NGRS, mighty impressed & was certainly taken back as to how well built & chunky it is!
Quick Q if I may, has anyone fitted a Tracer Unit? - presuming its a case of removing the supressor & fitting directly to the thread
Attached a picture, blue arrow pointing to what I'm presuming needs to be removed in order to attach the tracer to the barrel thread - For reference its an AceTech Brighter C Tracer
Please advise if anyone has any experience
Thanks
Mike
Something like THIS would be the easiest solution but I don't know if there is a difference between cyma and marui dimensions regarding that suppressor.Quite a few people do 3D printing on this forum so if that thing doesn't fit properly or wobbles when you move the gun you could still ask around here to get custom inserts.
I think Airtac makes custom work as well but probably it takes some time to get them.

Yeah I’ve got a load of MR30 connectors on the way, I’m reluctant to swap them over on my batteries though as then I’ll be stuck being unable to use them on my other rifles, so I’ll probably just make up a different adapter.
I bought a stick battery to sacrifice just for this particular gun because I knew front wired MP5's are shit regarding battery space. I soldered it to mr30 and then I made a deans to mr30 adapter so I'm able to charge it. I ditched the tamiya to mr30 adapter straight away and even after that I have to pay attention not to snap battery cables but I put a magpul handguard on mine which offers even less space compared to the stock one. -

You're better off to forget tamiya altogether and solder amass mr30 to your battery. That tamiya to mr30 cable takes up way too much space in the handguard. When you ditch your triangular one for a gucci one you're gonna have even less space to play with. -
Lovely. 🙄

Earmor/Walker Razor/Howard Leights are priced very similarly and those should be the bare minimum if you don't want to spend big boy money on it.
If it has active noise reducing you can't go wrong. I purchased an earmor because people love to shit on it (especially on reddit) so obiously I had to buy one to see if it has any merit or just the usual braindead parroting. So far so good if it breaks I buy something else. 🤯

I haven't found that to be the case at all; I have met very few players who claim to be ex-military.
I met people before who claimed be ex-mil (even if it's true they die just as fast as a rental who never played before) but surely it's more prevalent online. It's the same when you watch a youtube video about guns or modern war history and suddenly everyone is expert and served. 🙃 -
GBB MP7 is a lovely gun (either TM or VFC it doesn't matter as long as you take care of it) but ergonomics isn't for everyone. Reloading is awful and there is limited amount of space compared to any assault rifle sized gun. As other people said it could be easily a gateway drug into GBBR world before you invest more money into it. You could say the same about MP9 and G5 altough you see them a lot less that's for sure.

Names Nicco, who constantly touts that he is an ex-rifleman, without mentioning that he was a Reservist.
In the airsoft "community" everyone and their mother are ex-military when in reality people are just full of shit. 🤣 -

As has been said, the UK isn't as big a market as some other countries (not sure where we would rank), so most retailers wouldn't be able to put in big enough orders with each brand to be a priority for delivery, they want to ship at least a container and a small crate of a dozen by air freight won't really interest them, hence most UK retailers going through official importers and wholesalers, who will be able to put in an order for a container full of stock.
Another issue is, the global chip market, still hasn't fully caught up from both the halt in production due to covid and a large % of stock was destroyed in a warehouse fire a couple of years ago.
Airsoft isn't the only hobby to be suffering these issues though.
Airsoft is a niche in every country but if I recall correctly UK was one of the biggest market for Taiwangun before Brexit. -
Can't wait to see them in the classifieds.
-
You can get some bits from far east but FNX45 wasn't ever that popular so aftermarket parts are non-existent. Worst case scenario you can still ask VFC itself but it's gonna take some time to ship from Taiwan.
Unless someone made an HPA adapter for it my only solution would be is that you hpa tap your magazines but each time you're empty you have to unplug it and plug it into a new one. It's not practical by any means and you need tons of magazines.
Airtac UK made a m4 hpa adapter for TM so you could sell yours at some loss and invest into a TM one instead. -

Maybe if products were coming from the EU but importation from China hasn't really changed. Royal Mail prices have increased however. They're seriously pushing all retailers to their Tracked solutions. On October 1st they raised their Large Letter prices by nearly 30% in one go, this has really hit eBay sellers.
Back in 2015 1st class Large Letter was £0.80, today it's £1.95 😞
It doesn't matter where it comes from in this scenario. All of these companies charge you ~30 quid for delivery since brexit. Rainbow8, WGC, Power6Air etc. At least in my experience. Or companies aren't even bothered to ship to the UK. -

Yes if it's the same as mine then it's got the hop-up adjustment via a lever. Seemed solid to me but I guess if you're fiddling with a lot it'll weaken.
Vibration of the GB can alter it.
Personally I'd choose an mp5 with slider hop-up like ICS, Cyma, G&G. Whichever is the cheapest and offers the most internally.
-
I'd assume that since brexit lots of companies can't be bothered to deliver to the UK and/or there is no profit to make anymore due to the import changes.
Royal Mail raised prices not long ago so that 5.99 isn't nessecarily a rip-off even if it's looks like that retailers take the piss.

I'd never expose negative and positive at the same time. You can short your battery/gun if you manage to touch them with each other.
