  1. Is anybody else not getting notification emails for messages at the moment?

  2. I have a few parts to order from yourself soon, do you know if you'll be getting any SHS high torque short motors any time soon?
  3. I’m not sure how dumb of a question this is, but bear with me 😂 Is it possible to “convert” a V2 (Long shaft) motor to a V3 (Short shaft)? I bought an SHS HT Long ages ago for a project, but didn’t use it and I don’t want to give DCA £55 for a £35 motor
  4. Received my LCT B10M today. I was hesitant to "modernise" my 74 but I'm glad I did. I had to modify the rail to fit my Specna (Sanded down the lip that goes into the handguard retention). The 5KU stock adapter is awful and wobbles like crazy but I got it for free so I can't complain 😂
  5. A long time ago (In a galaxy far away), I purchased AFRA ("All Fronts Re-enactment Association") which gave me a physical card with my face, DOB etc on it. Many retailers allowed this to be used as a valid defence to purchase a RIF (Including, for example, patrol base). In fact, I used this when I purchased my first "proper" (As in, not to be used for reenactment/display) G&G M4 before I had even got a UKARA. Their set up was very similar to JustCos in the way the insurance worked. I don't recall needing to supply any evidence of being in a reenactment group either, they just took my money and sent a card and away I went. Much like JustCos, anybody could purchase it. I remember at the time, there was a LOT of "if's and buts" regarding the actual liability insurance. From the reenactor side, being able to purchase a defence to buy RIF be it BF or Airsoft it's great. From the airsoft side, being able to buy a defence to buy a RIF - Not so much. Quite a contradiction, I know but unfortunately airsoft is more threatened than the buying of BFer's. In an ideal world, everybody would follow the rules and behave themselves but that's never ever going to happen 😂
  6. What is the base rifle? I like the lever action part 👀
  7. “Fully upgraded” Might be worth taking some time and effort to list what’s been done in the description, and who installed it. Helps potential buyers see what they’re getting, without the need to message you. Just a thought 🤙🏻
  8. At least he found the right place to post it. I’m so proud of him 🥹
  9. A site turning down money because a replica is bright blue? Not a very good business move imo
  10. Wow, that’s really cool. You know what else is really cool? https://airsoft-forums.uk/classifieds/submit/?do=submit&category=4&_new=1
  11. If it's cold? Aeg If it's warm? GBBR It also depends on how energetic I'm feeling, if good then aeg because 120 rounds > 30 😂
  12. Yeah, the selector is fine. There is no mechanical safety now, because I've removed the part that handles it. It's now done via the mosfet as mentioned. Both selectors already have the metal bearing done. The selector plate travels a few mm's more than it would do if the selector runner gears was the JG, as they differ from the Ares/Umarex/S&T/Specna. Because it's a JG gearbox in an Ares lower, if the runner gear is turned too far you can pull the selector plate out from the front runner. I've got a few ideas to fix the issue, and will post my findings once a confirmed way works.
  13. Update with the G36: So, I fielded it Sunday just gone and it ran into issues with the safety cut off locking if you wasn’t very precise with your selector position. Whilst having some time today, I decided to strip the gearbox (Which wasn’t necessary after all) to remove the catch that handles the safety lock off. This has fully corrected the issue, whilst still allowing for the ambi selector to function as it should. The gun still has a safety, as the mosfet handles that part. The next and final thing to solve now is the selector plate falling off of its “runners” if not carefully adjusted and then the JG into Umarex should be completed…
  14. If your first post on the day you join AFUK isn't an overpriced listing, are you really an AFUK newbie?
  15. The part that should move as you swing the latch around did nothing, so it's being sent back to Amazon. I did however find another one, and one of the reviews has it fitted to a VSS so I figured I'd order it and hope for the best.
  16. I found LCT's new version of their B-13 but bugger paying £60+ for one. I got one of the amazon ones today like you showed but it won't fit or even lock on. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
  17. Just a knock off B-13 basically, which thankfully other brands do exist - Although they also seem just as hard to find. I may just hold off until I can find a genuine PSO or POSP though... Was hoping a company might have made something cheap and mass produced like Cyma for the VSS though.
  18. I bought an LCT VSS at Splatoon on Sunday just gone, and now I am looking to put an optic on it... The side mount is different to both an AK and the SVD (As far as I can tell) so I'm not sure what it needs. I'm eventually going to get the PSO-1 and adapter but money is tight at the moment (Unless my aug shifts 👀) so looking for something to fill the gap for the mean time. Anybody own an LCT VSS that knows what side mounted picatinny rail I need?
  19. After the eventual gearbox lock up of my G36KA4 build yesterday, I have given up with the internals. I may put the upgraded gearbox into my JG C build and go back to a standard S&T gearbox/hop unit for this A4.

Externally I've managed to get a correct "K" style gas block. I've also managed to half fit the CCW G36 barrel extension from a JG onto the Umarex CW thread with some tape and force to bring the outer barrel length down. It's a temporary fix until I can get a 14 x 1 LH tap or a custom extension made. I've been toying with the idea of trying to make a rear wire modification to the stock where you can fold it, insert a battery and then fold it back to "normal" as the rail is an absolute nightmare to fit any type of battery into at all...

Honestly think if they made people install batteries into a G36 handguard 8 hours a day instead of community service the UK's crime rate would drop to 0%

Plumbers tape and brute force to fit a CCW barrel extension onto a CW thread 💪

I only managed to get it 50% on, but it sits lower than the extensions I bought. Also fitted the correct gas block and flash hider which really makes it look gorgeous now!

Awesome build, very jealous. I'll re-body my G36 at some point with something less creaky because I want to try recreating something similar to this eventually, the ACR stock goes tremendous

  20. When mine broke (Which is why I had to replace the hop unit), after I left it out because I thought it was useless I was getting 2 bb's roll out the barrel at a time almost consistently. That's why I believe it's some kind of stopper for the bb
