Earmor mounts about £8/£10 preowned, strobes probably a tenner too, if the cover & pouch is genuine Agilite they’re €75 new direct from agilite then including shipping and processing fees so I don’t think £60 for the additional parts is really that bad, but the helmet itself should definitely be less

Update: I 3d printed a barrel holder that has done the job beautiful. For reference if anybody else runs into the issue I used: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5961232 You just have to modify the lower half, it needs to be about 1” shorter.

Hey guys, So I picked up this tippmann from on here which was styled as an xm177, however after using it last Sunday with my Vietnam war kit I didn’t find the bottle comfortable in the buttpack and have decided to build a mk18 out of it instead. Now, tippmanns are completely new to me and their build design is also very new. I’ve taken it down today and fitted an AEG MK18 rail from a Specna and it’s all gone on perfectly except the outer barrel. It wobbles like crazy and can spin around which as I found out can pull out the entire lot. I thought about trying to a barrel spacer to slide to the bottom to hold the barrel in its spot but wondering if there’s an easier fix or if anybody has had the same issue? Also, I’m 99% sure I put the inner barrel in correctly but want to make sure… The window on the barrel goes upwards? Cheers guys!

Thank you! 🙏 The bolt has definitely been through it, it’s got quite a few chips out of it too. I think the trigger sear has actually worn out on this too so that’s a good shout

Me again… So I’m looking at the nozzle and: The arm parts completely missing, not sure how I missed that 😂 Am I right in thinking the nozzle should spring backwards when it’s pulled out like in the last image?

So, just got home and had a proper look at the BCG and the nozzle has torn itself apart on a bad part of the actual BCG. It's getting itself stuck on the burred part of the BCG. My plan was to put RA Tech parts into it anyway, as I got it for a steal and the cost of said RA Tech isn't going to make the pew suddenly over expensive. I'm guessing it'll probably be more advisable to just buy the RA stuff now rather than source replacement WE parts from KY, to then later buy RA anyway. That being said, I'm already ordering parts from KY too to replace the bits missing from the rifle (Bolt catch, rear pin etc) and also getting some WE M16A1 parts to convert this over to what I ideally wanted anyway. Hey everybody, I picked up an xm177 GBBR for cheap, and it’s externally rusty and rough so no doubt left untouched for a while When I was buying it, I stupidly only put gas in the mag and dry fired a few shots which went swimmingly Unfortunately however, when I went to chrono it to see if an Npas was needed: The bolt carrier group didn’t fully entry battery, all of the gas vented out of the magazine, and the BB in the magazine was left shattered. I’m not really sure where to begin with looking for faults, however the gun is currently fully stripped down to de-rust it so can’t record a video of the issue.

Second both for the same reason. You can definitely do it on a budget too, but with cameras you do seem to get what you pay for.

However, doing it through the trigger is very straightforward should you wish to save some pennies.

So the gate aster is a “Mosfet”, as you’ve discovered it has some nice features such as binary trigger etc however it doesn’t need messing with at all truthfully. I have 3 “Edge 2.0” series rifles and other than testing the features on one of them, I’ve not had to change anything on it. In my opinion, the gate aster is one of the nicer mosfets at a good price. As for the app you mentioned, you need to purchase an extra part (either a blu-link for Bluetooth phone editing) or the usb BUT you can adjust the aster settings via the trigger which is done with coloured lights (Far better than say, the Perun Hybrid as I found out earlier today)

FPS doesn’t mean better. (In short) Plus, the one you bought has upgrades pre installed, as well as a gate aster. His one doesn’t. Personally I think your choice is far better based on the included upgrades from the edge 2.0 series.
