  1. If you want more from a MOSFET than the standard offering you can swap to a Perun ETU++ pretty easily. It's outside the gearbox so is literally plug and play, I just had to remove the stock but I'm not sure about the AK as that's front wired so it may be a couple of extra screws. I play CQB so have done mine, primarily for the pre-cocking but it also meant the battery connector changed from Tamiya to Deans.
  2. The website bears no correlation to the marketing / recruitment spiel here - anyone who touts a fire selector as a 'standout feature' needs to actually read what they're copying and pasting from other areas of the internet.
  3. I'm scared of being stuck in a lift with Father Christmas. I think I have Claus-trophobia.
  4. Hello and welcome. Just find a site and go, that's what I did. You'll find your mates become a bit more interested once you start going, also it's a friendly community and if you go on your own you'll meet a load of new people too.
  5. Hello & Welcome! Lots of knowledgeable folk here who are more than willing to help, so ask away. Definitely worth doing a forum search first though as there's a chance someone else has had the same issue before. Have you been to a game before?
  6. Just taken the (new) pew apart as the ambi fire selector cog jumped a tooth or two.

    Gotta love airsoft QC 😉

  7. Hello & welcome! This is certainly the place to find a group of fellow airsoft enthusiasts Buying someone else's modded kit is always a leap into the unknown but as you like teching I expect you secretly quite enjoyed it.
  8. I hear Blacks, Millets and Go Outdoors have started a price war. I think we're in for a winter of discount tents.
  9. no idea what you're on about. <---😂
  10. Of course the gas nozzle extender wasn’t going to fit! Slimmed it down an bit and now it does.

Why did TM make it so damn difficult to just fill a mag?

      It's Japanese, suffering is virtue.

  11. Spot the guy who just got his UKARA 😁 - Finally got something to attach all the accessories I've been accumulating to! - G&G TR16 308 SBR & TM FNX45. The 308's feeling very nice indeed, there's not much room in that stock for a battery as the stock mosfet, fuse and wiring take up a ton of space, I'm glad I picked up a Perun ETU++ as I'd have been scratching my head getting the battery in there otherwise - of course that's not why I got the Perun but I'm glad I did. Was an easy job to do, just need to put on a couple of cable ties to tidy things up in the stock tube. I mainly play CQB hence the tracer and light, looks great with the inner barrel ending just inside the outer. Just need to find a foregrip and then I'll work out where the pressure switch will go. Dust cover shuts but opens at every possible opportunity, the catch doesn't look likes it's up to much so I guess it'll just stay open. Had a play with it earlier, needless to say I was like 'why's it stopped??' when the mag ran out 🙄 gotta get used to that with mid-caps. Not got any gas into the FNX mags yet (base plate is super deep - gas bottle nozzle extension on the way) but it feels good in the hand. The not particularly standard barrel size means I need to run an adapter for the tracer. Holding fire on if I want a red dot for it or not, partly because the holster's not arrived yet and I've no idea if it'll fit with it on.
  12. Fingers crossed they can find someone who'll take it on and help make the site work. Offering both airsoft and paintball would certainly open the site up to a bigger customer base.
  13. Totally using @ak2m4 when I need bits for the pews 👍 Bit late to request you stock the gas bottle extension tubes though.
  14. Definitely sympathising with the OP right now. I need a gas extension to fill my mags - first pistol ownership is a steep learning curve - obviously if I'd have known I'd have got it at the time, but now, on it's own, retailers want upwards of £5 postage for a £2 part that'll go in an envelope with a regular stamp. Oh well I thought, I want another mag and a spare battery, may as well get all three .... or so I thought, trying to find all three in stock in the same place got very tedious very quickly. Ended up getting two extensions from Amazon in the end as it worked out cheaper.
  15. Is the new hop rubber now hopping the weight you want out to a longer distance? That was the plan after all. No idea if there's a 'bedding in' period for hop rubbers.
  16. on the current dick theme, mine was in the Guinness Book of World Records ... until the librarian told me to leave.
  17. You may be better off posting this in the classifieds.
  18. What’s the best cheese for hiding horses? Mascarpone
  19. Back at Zed again last night. Lots of fun as always and new game formats which keeps things fresh. Yeah our team wasn't the winning one but I don't think anyone really cared, we all had fun shooting people in the dark and that's all that matters. Took a doozie of a hit to the forehead, other guy was coming up the escalator so his position meant my cap caught the BB and directed it to just above my eyebrow. Only noticed I was leaking when I got back to the safe zone and got that 'ooh that looks hurty' look from the other players and then a marshal appeared with a first aid kit 😂 Bit of a wipe and with the application of the worlds smallest plaster I was ready to go again. I look like I've popped a massive zit today though. Worth noting that hit taking was on point all night, didn't hear a single grumble from anyone. Also my rental battery went flat and while it was being changed a guy on our team handed my his MP7 and said 'fill yer boots' (or words to that effect) and I have to say that I could certainly be tempted!! Although I'd need a ton of mags 😁 Oh and one more thing ... I finally got my UKARA sorted!!!! There'll be a couple of deliveries next week ☺️
  20. UKARA's sorted. Happy Friday!!

      G&G 308 SBR and a TM FNX45.

Already got tracers, sights and the other bits I need - the road to bankruptcy is already well trodden without the ability to buy pews!!

Yeah, I feel like money was a thing I used to have before I found this hobby too :D

      Nice looking gnu's dude!

  21. Still getting my head around that paint job. I suppose in their head they've added value.
  22. Went for a curry the other day, when ordering the waiter suggested I try a Chicken Tarka. I asked what it was like and he said it was similar to a Chicken Tikka, but just a little otter. (fully accept that some of our younger members may need to use google to 'get' this one) 😂
  23. Hello & welcome. Glad you enjoyed yourself, sounds like you’ve been a few times already. Good plan to know more about what you’re getting yourself in to, it all seems simple till you start peeling back the layers and before you know it you’re looking at cylinder/barrel ratios and working out what kind of ported cylinder you need. Anyway, there’s lots of stuff here to read up on and plenty more knowledgeable than me to answer any of your questions. Enjoy.
  24. Looks like they need investors if you’re feeing flush 🤑
