Yeah very true, once you’ve factored in customs I guess it’s not overly bad…his sites always over priced especially if it somthing new.
Please pop up a review when you get it, not much out there currently.
I would have tried taking the 10ps out just to give the spring a little more slack, stripped any grease and ran it “dry”.
Also a top tip, put your coat over your chest rig / PC. I’ve played in 0 degrees with mine and the mags where lovely and toasty under my rab jacket so didn’t notice any major drop in performance.
Yeah if your not using a vice it can be pretty difficult to get it to lock down tight enough but give it your max effort!
For the retaining spring, just make sure your rear pin is actually in the outward position, helps it seat.
That spring retains your rear takedown pin. You can easily unfuck that.
Loctite the castle nut as you say, should sort it but honestly shouldn’t undo that easy. Are you putting the gun in a vice or bedroom teching it and holding it with your hands?
oooof. Love me a straya kit and Troy rails so that’s a double win in my eyes.
I was looking at some AMCU combats a few months ago now I can’t seem to find any at all.
You’re right they do, last one I went too was a while back and it was a themed night, totally forgot about it being an option.
They are deffo on the cards, that’s for sure.
Nice! I had a fondle of some DTNVS and photonis white phos tubes a week or so ago, ive been looking into NODs more and more but there’s not many night games within reasonable distance to me ?
Not sure about marui handguards but most AEG rails need a spacer.
You will need a spacer with Madbull handguards too, unless you use an aftermarket outer barrel.
Also, im no expert having only looked at a Mk18 rail once previously, but you have that barrel nut the wrong way round in your photo? Smaller end should sit inside the rail.
Hmmm strange, I’ve had Gen 1, 2, 3 mags all with no issues! Perhaps I’m very lucky.
I see quite a few complaints about ultra air, I think it’s pretty good! I’ve ran it down to 0 degrees in a stock MWS and it performed very well.
You are possibly the first and only case I’ve ever heard of where mags won’t hold higher pressure gas, sounds like you’ve either got duff mags (doubt) or it’s a fill issue.
As before, what green gas cans have you used? Have you tried purging your mags?
