  1. Dear fricking zod that 870 just gave me a gun stiffy! How does it shoot?
  2. Some bad news, I had to break up with the woman I was seeing. My feelings were unrequited. Great woman, very fit because she's a tennis player. But love means nothing to her.
  3. Well, dude, hopefully the one good thing you can take away from this is discovering that not all of the Airsoft community are like that diseased blobfish prolapse.
  4. Not that it means shit but didn't get supporter status either
  5. Paid for three so far, none of them ever turned up.
  6. Very short bit of footage edited to commemorate a special day of Airsoft

  7. Well, if you're legit you could try the Depot in Port Glasgow, but I doubt anywhere will let you play totally naked.
  8. Honestly can't tell if this is spam or not. The text sounds too well structured for a spammer/bot, but the addition of the photo just seems phishy af... Edit: profile says phishy af for thirsty nerds 🤣🤣🤣
  9. Never seen this happen, but I would imagine that part of their thinking would be that they paid good money for this nade, they're bloody well gonna chuck it! Not saying that's right or wrong, but you can see how that might be a factor. Damnit, beaten to the shot!
  10. Not really about what I bought, but WHERE I bought it. I ordered two 40mm, 72 round Moscarts from actionhobbies.co.uk Never ordered from them before, but ran through trustpilot and they have good reviews. This morning I got a phone call from them, apologising. The Moscarts are out of stock in that size. I can wait for them to come back in stock OR they can send me the next size up, at no extra charge, which I will receive in time for this weekend's game. Great customer service! Shout out to Paul at action hobiies.

      My condolences.

Hopefully see you at the next one.

  12. I'll be there on the 3rd for the Battlesim. You'll be fine going alone, it's a great site and the staff are really friendly and helpful. You'll have a great time.
  13. Good man, he's totally right. Can't believe people just walked past you!!!
  14. Simple question really. I'm looking at getting a baofeng uv-9r (and an amateur radio licence to use it), but I occasionally play with someone who uses a UV5-r. Can someone on a UV-9r communicate with someone on a UV-5r? Ta.
  15. So, today was a particularly fun one. Five of us have been playing online games together, for nigh on 20 years. Some of us have never met face to face. This weekend we finally all met up. Three not that far apart, one from Scotland and one from Canada. I've obviously played a lot. One of us had played about 5 games. The Scottish guy had played Airsoft once before. The Canadian played once with me last weekend. That other had never played before today. We went to Red Alert in Newbury. What a superb day. First time at the site for all of us, and it was a great site. Good sized playing area, lots of great terrain and buildings (standard wood builds but good quality and varied), lots of varied game modes, very welcoming staff and they marshals could not have been more engaged. The atmosphere was very good. All five of us had a great day, and all of the varying levels of newbies are very keen to play again and are all talking about getting their own kit (I loaned out a lot of kit today and got it all back in the same condition I lent it out in). Red Alert is highly recommend, I've booked in for their next battlesim weekend. Oh, and we got some comemmerative patches made up for the meet up, that we wore today.
  16. Painted the retention holster for my MK23.
  17. Greggs have announced plans to start a delivery service using drones. All sounds a bit pie in the sky to me.
