Wycombe Skirmish? I've heard it's improved. The site was always fine, but the marshals were appalling. Teenagers that gave no shits at all. I need to give it another try. Red Alert, on the other hand, has devastatingly handsome, witty and humble marshals. 😁

I used https://madpatches.co.uk/ for some custom pvc patches. Decent pricing, but they were a bit slow to get them done. However, the quality was excellent.

I have ordered, and received, in the past, but it took a bit of poking to get them.

Yeah, not sure what's up with that, but I like it 😁 It's a fixed hop, so I've been experiment with weights, .3s seem to be the sweet spot.

Impractical, considered ugly by many, but I have had my eye on this for months, and now it's mine.

It absolutely happens. Not too often, but it does. There's a lot of weekend warriors that take the game, and themselves, far too seriously. Throw in some adrenaline, possibly some pain from BB hits, and you have a recipe for a macho dickhead kicking off over some imagined slight. Never seen it escalate to the point of a body cam being a good idea, but I wouldn't be surprised if it has happened.

Bit bloody windy yesterday, but still a good turn out. However, even though it was pointed out in the brief that the wind would affect accuracy, there was a lot of claims about hit taking, and for the most part it was just the usual cases of people thinking they're better shots than they are. One guy was talked to about hit taking, and after that he was definitely playing fair. Put a lot of miles on the clock, and really feeling it today. And remember, your friends dump pouch always works as a bin.

We have marshals go with each team and clarify where objectives are etc. A couple of our POI'S include; Camp Curly Wurly and Harry Potter Tree. Are we doing it wrong? 😁

Yup, we do that, and they HAVE to go on the upper arm. No plate carriers or ankles or anything like that. One rule for everyone.

Have you seen the stubby version? There's a video somewhere of the same rep briefly showing his phone to the camera, like really briefly, and you can just make out the really short version, probably the ARP 3.0 upper he mentioned.

As tempting as that is, it has to be dealt with professionally. And yes I could see how hard you were trying to turn things around for yellow. Yellow is always cursed 🤷🏼‍♂️

Bumped into a random guy yesterday, who recognised me from here. Sorry dude, didn't catch your name. Thought I'd pop back and say "HI I'M STILL ALIVE". I marshal more than I play these days. Yesterday was a fun day at Red Alert, with 111 players. Surprisingly, with that number, I got no reports of hit calling or the like, though in the afternoon we did have to deal with an issue of a kid being bullied by a group of other kids. I was, of course, wearing my Irish camo yesterday, or lepretarn. Just the shirt. And apparently I'm now the authority on tag rounds, as I was referred to as the tag grenade guy by two different people yesterday. What can I say, I enjoy blowing people up at range.

Not so much about the guns, but I just bought a coffee table with display top. So what goes in?
