Cheers guys. One more question - unless I am mistaken, it's actually easier to obtain an air rifle (which may even look like a proper machine gun) without any licence, and airsoft RIFs are harder to get than something that can cause much more harm. There doesn't seem to be (because it isn't needed) any UKARA type of organisation for air rifles. The only limitation is its firing power, and the legal "free for all" models easily exceeding airsoft RIFs in joules. Is that so, and if true there's something wrong with the law.
Just because an 18 plus can buy an air rifle, it doesn’t mean he can run around in the street shooting shit without the same outcome as the rif scenario. Ukara is an attempt to pull rifs into line with existing firearm legislation, not the other way around bud.

@C-Diddyso for loading I pull the case all the way down so the feeder locks, I then slide it up just far enough so I can drop bbs in the gap, and fill with bbs. I then shut the mag and press the feeder release.
as for leaks, had 4 now. 2 base plate seals, 1 fill valve, and on release valve. Silicone and a tightening here and there seems to solve the issues. -
What the actual fuck…where’s ya eye pro boys?

Thinking about it, it’s quite sensible; you don’t need precocking in auto, so I guess the etu senses this and disengages the feature.

Huhh! I would at least had the impatience to put those magpuls on….

For fps, I’d probably recommend the angry gun mpa complete nozzle BUT replace the rear oring with the stock WE nozzle oring ( the AG one is a bit baggy and can stick in the bolt carrier)
also do the bolt stop/ release mod for reliable bolt locking. Everything else is gravy.I also use the yellow maple leaf autobot rubbers with the stock hop chamber too.

Almost Necrotic post but I'm re entering the realm of the WE based AR.
Quite excited by the prospect and have a few builds in mind.Go for it. Great platform for beginners to expert/ connoisseurs. I have ghk, mws, and WE. Still love my WE m4’s.
Proper solid rs feel.

@AlphaBear bro, think you got that completely round the wrong way. Mosfet gives you the trigger response and protection on semi, you don’t really notice on auto unless you play with settings. Ngrs mags obviously have a low cap switch too, or you can just pump that speed loader 7 or 8 to put 30 or so rounds in those bad boy.

Please note, there is a difference between semi-spam and picking your shots on semi. A titan isnt necessary on a NGRS, but an upgrade. A good one, but an upgrade nonetheless.
If you need to fire several shots in quick succession in a single shot only cqb site, you will have lock up at some point. To have a reliable ngrs for single shot only environments you need a gate Titan or similar. Yes it is an upgrade but a necessary one nonetheless.
-
Ngrs are great but if you use a lot of semi, they suffer from lock up. So you simply have to install a decent and expensive mosfet eg Gate Titan. You really have to take this added expense into account ie £200 if you aren’t going to install it yourself, before committing.
Sad but true. -

@alxndrhll- I’ve been meaning to do that for a while. I’ll see if I can get something recorded this weekend.

Just poking my nose in to second @Emergencychimps- epm conversion with real pmags takes 10 minutes. As opposed to tm stanags- which are a bit of a ball ache.

I get that and I’m gonna drop it cus I’ve already paid over the top for a hao mws kit, but that’s how shops work; they buy summits for £50, sell it for £100 plus vat ie £120. And take the costs out of this. My wife works in interior design and often prices catalogs. So something is broken in their pricing chain.

Yes but your basing your price on a retail price. Surely their wholesale price is less than what we can buy it for?
It seems they obviously cannot buy it cheaper than we can hence the £700 markups
-
I thought a wholesale price wouldn’t be what we can buy it for tbh.
-
@Emergencychimpsso what’s the point of buying it from them? If you can import it cheaper than them is what I’m saying. If it costs them £1500. They are in the wrong business. I’ve had an import quote including tax is less than £1300.

2 grand for lets be honest here.... an m4 with slightly different trades and giving money to Cybergun due to the licensing. Nah, you're all right mate.
This is no m4 matey. The engineered monolithic upper is a work of art. And choice of ghk or Tokyo marui internals is a master stroke.

gm p mags…
@Salamanca just letting you know bud, I had a leak from the output valve on one magazine today. Not sure so I took all the orings off and soaked them in silicone oil, but it did feel slightly loose in its thread, so when I put it back in I made sure i cranked it nice and firm.
Incidentally, the valve knocker is held in by a pin which has serrations on one end to hold the pin in place. I found out which end the hard way. The serrated side is on the side of the stick on thermometer thingy so you need to hit the pin from the side. Hope this helps peoples. -
