  1. Also didn't the septics use the HK416?
  2. Were they new from a shop? If so I'd be demanding a full refund as they were obviously not fit for purpose
  3. Cat crap is your friend here* *it's a brand of anti fog products, leave the kitty litter tray alone
  4. 99.9% of the time prices go up over time not down so they're either talking out of their arse or know they were ripped off and so are trying to do the same to whoever buys it. Either way I'd walk away
  5. Not knowing the condition of it all and the brands for the gear it's hard to say, but 60-70% of retail price is generally the norm
  6. Iirc the ban on disposable pyros is down to the peat soil as there's a risk it can catch fire and spread underground
  7. That's not including the player who knows exactly what they're doing but when caught says "but nobody said we can't"
  8. It might just be me being cynical but when there's simple mistakes like that I can't help but wonder what other things they'll get wrong
  9. Does your AK have the side rail? If so a mount for that would give you a longer ris rail giving you more options for what will fit
  10. Well that's a new one. As for strict limits, the times I've been chronoing appeared to be almost voluntary. My reasons for not going are that the games are poorly run and the sheer amount of cheating is absolutely ridiculous. Another biggie for me was that the safezone didn't seem that safe to me. I hardly saw anyone clearing their guns before leaving the game zone and many people wandering around with the safety off and a finger on the trigger. I felt it was only a matter of time before someone got hurt from a ND This. To me the whole point of going to an airsoft event is the game I do have to agree the social side can be good
  11. Not when you're running power limits higher than most outdoor sites for CQB. Those power levels are unnecessary at close range. Also 1.3j with a 0.25g bb is 334fps, not 320 Taken from their website All guns on site will be chrono'd at a 0.25g, 1.3 joule max and a FPS of 320 tag will be put on your rifle.
  12. You could try a set of needle nosed pliers. Open then up so one side goes into the little holes on each side of the valve and then turn it.
  13. There's a big difference between between holding a committee meeting and complete radio silence. The latter is a guaranteed way to get the rumour mill working overtime. I'd say it's the right word. Whether voluntary or a paid position if a person or organisation is going to claim to be official representatives of a group of people then they need to be extremely open and honest about what's going on go those they claim to represent.
  14. It doesn't help when sites llike Phoenix cater for twats like licking shitstains by setting up games specifically for them to generate bullshit content. For me this straight away puts them on the avoid list @THE CHIEF whilst I agree that more variety of rifs would be nice, I think alot of it is down to consumer demand. I thought I recognised the patch from there. I can't say the mask rings any bells, but it was nearly 20 years ago and sometimes I struggle to remember what I did last week. I haven't been back since I last played there but tbh I'm not surprised it's changed so much. At least its been preserved though, rather than cleared for housing Firing as you approach and go round a corner so if there is someone there you're already putting shots out rather than having to react. To me it's a twatish move which involves zero skill
  15. There's the problem, many things are a good idea in theory.
  16. I use something like this on my AS02
  17. As I've been visiting different sites and doing mid week games I've been to a few different cqb sites end one thing I have noticed is that many look like they're starting to crack down on some aspects of speedsoft, such as prefiring and spamming the trigger. Did you guys play at Fort Amhurst donkeys years ago?
  18. None of which has anything to do with either the problem the OP has or motor speed, as you incorrectly claimed Seconded.
  19. I haven't personally noticed it, but then I've been a bit of an airsoft nomad for the past year thanks to work changing my shift pattern. As others have posted I think the rising cost of living will have had an impact, especially for the older players with things like rent/mortgages going up. Another factor could be that as airsoft only really became very well known about in the past few years some of those who started then would've moved on to whatever the next big new thing is. I was going to ask if any qere cqb sites. Unfortunately cqb sites tend to not be around as long as urban areas get redeveloped and land owners want to make their money My problem is that I've got to rely on public transport. While I've got quite a few sites within easy driving distance only 1 is on a direct train line. The rest involve a journey of at least 2 hours plus often a walk too. All of this is a big chunk of my cost of a game day
  20. Fair enough, everything I could find about that referred to li-ion batteries As others have posted, fast charging li-po batteries isn't a good idea if you want them to last. Guess what, site owners don't really give a shit if your battery gets knackered
  21. This. A lower voltage battery (whether it's a 7.4v compared to an 11.1v, or a dying battery compared to a fresh one) will cycle the GB slower but not affect the fps. The muzzle energy is down to the potential energy in the compressed spring
