  1. Going by the scratches and black tape on the fore grip of the AK they must've been some rough 5/6 games
  2. Welcome Electric pistols tend to be more reliable than gas ones, especially in colder weather, but are usually underpowered compared to the gbb ones with them firing at 220 - 240fps.
  3. So that's a grand for 2 fucked guns, a pistol and a load of generic unbranded kit. Definitely a dreamer
  4. According to the raffle site if the seller doesn't deliver you get 75% of the money from ticket sales. Still dodgy as a £9 note though
  5. What you're paying for when buying new is the piece of mind that if it shits the bed after half a mag you can get a refund or replacement for easier Not sure what it is about this but it gets my spidey senses tingling. https://raffall.com/343054/enter-raffle-to-win-l129a1-dmr-hosted-by-sbs-armouries?fbclid=IwAR3LK13fbE-rl8ozEVBDou590XvuFJ-BibsWCxeVkuWXrZUsrkOjWbpkluo
  6. Nobody said you are, although I'm sure that's what someone who doesn't call their hits would say ? As others have posted, if in doubt just call it. You're only going to be out of the game for as long as it takes to walk to respawn. Just because a shot feels like it doesn't have much power behind it or comes from an unexpected angle doesn't mean it's a ricochet. A sniper or sneaky player could've gotten into a position where they can put fire down from another angle and you assuming the shot was a ricochet is almost asking to be shot again, often to a more sensitive bodypart and/or with a longer burst
  7. Welcome back to the madness Not much has changed since 2006, the main things being the VCRA coming into law in 2007 (see threads on the vcra and ukara as I really can't be arsed to go into detail here) and more people are moving to lipo batteries. Chinese companies are still knocking out cheap (not as cheap as in 06 unfortunately) copies of high end guns with varying degrees of quality control Now that's a rare pistol these days
  8. This for people to give their experiences of buying from shops not for shops to post ads
  9. Fair enough. As you posted though it's the same offence. To me it looks like plod were just putting out a reminder to people not to be idiots but, in typical gutter press fashion, the paper are trying to paint it like there's gangs roaming the streets opening up on anything
  10. I got the impression it was more likely air rifles as airsoft was only mentioned at the end
  11. The OP's profile says they used to play in Scotland so assuming they're still north of the border then yes they would
  12. From the pictures this might look like not a bad deal till you read the description and realise half of it isn't listed. Also I'm sure I've seen the pic with the pistols in the cardboard box here before Edit: I had seen it before, on his previous listing
  13. Oops I accidentally posted that before I'd finished, that's the trouble with not having enough coffee on the night shift ? I agree it's far more prudent to go with a system which is proven and any problems are identified and fixed, rather than something shinny new and unproven. Especially when people's lives are at stake
  14. While the AR-15 is now a proven weapon system alot of people forget the many problems the yanks had with the early versions in Vietnam, from parts cracking to failures to eject spend cartridges. The difference is that they didn't take 15 years before getting round to fixing it

  16. This. Having seen how badly the civil service wastes money, especially when it comes to procurement, I'm surprised the country can afford anything these days
  17. I saw that too. Tbh I'm not that worried as it looks to me like a slow news day. The Argus is one of those low quality rags who regularly run non stories and nobody takes seriously. I'm in a facebook group called angry people in local newspapers which takes this piss out of idiots running to the local papers about dumb stuff and the argus regularly feature
  18. I got sacked from my job at the bingo hall. Apparently "dinner for two with a hairy view" isn't the call for 69
  19. As others have posted, barrel length isn't really a factor with airsoft guns. Hop up and bb weight have a far greater impact
  20. Is it wrong that I kind of like that?
  21. It's a common trick in sales to deliberately restrict supply to keep prices high. When they are in stock how many do shops get compared to other rifs?
  22. A dog and a cat are having an argument over which species humans like most. The dog says "humans like us more, they even named a tooth canine after us. Naming such an important body part after us shows dogs are the favourite" The cat just smiles and says "you're really not going to win this one you know"
  23. Another couple of pluses I didn't mention were the free cake (it was someone's birthday) and the god botherer from the church next door being put in her place over a parking spot (not by an airsofter, but someone from the other church above the site)
