  1. Agreed. Back when I was in my teens (insert grandpa Simpson meme here) I did the DofE hike and one of my team mates couldn't stop going on about his Gucci gortex trousers and how much better they were than the surplus ones I was using. By day 2 they were ruined including a huge rip from his knee to his crotch
  2. 12 quid for a patch? I'll have some of whatever they're smoking
  3. But it's got the most important upgrade of all😂😂😂 "Silver screw set: £4"
  4. Are there any particular guns you're interested in? If so post some links and we can say if they're any good or worth the price. As you posted there's many go choose from so asking 10 different people could easily get you 10 different answers. Also is your £300 budget for just the gun or will it need to cover extra bits like magazines and batteries?
  5. Were Jimmy and Rolf there? Or is it the other kind of BBC?😉
  6. Taken from the description on patrol base Due to the G&G ETU in the MXC-9, the AEG is only compatible with 11.1V LiPo batteries
  7. It'll depend on how low the volume can go but I can still see it potentially causing issues as repetitive noise at lower volumes can still cause hearing damage. A quick Google search shows that repeated exposure to sounds at around 85 decibels can cause hearing damage. This is about the same as a kitchen blender or a truck going past. As sites have a duty of care towards customers then I can see them taking the easy option of banning them rather than leaving themselves open to potential litigation or losing customers due to making ear protection mandatory
  8. Finally getting site membership sorted after a year of bouncing around from site to site so I can get a new pew next month. I've even done some overtime shifts to pay for it
  9. This. Also I can see sites banning them if they're too loud. Yes we can use bfgs with 9mm blanks but with something like this it'll be going off way more often so the chances of it doing damage to someone's hearing is far higher
  10. They admit on Facebook they're being very tight lipped about location etc till opening due to targeted vandalism
  11. Which was already answered before you even posted it, but you'd know that if you weren't more interested in just stirring things up
  12. Could ask you the same. So far you've brought nothing constructive to this thread and instead have decided to engage in petty attacks on someone else
  13. It's certainly more accurate than the 600+fps readings I've had firing 3 bbs at once
  14. I never said it wasn't my perception. Are people not allowed to point out where an organisation isn't following it's own rules and ask questions now? Questions which others may also have. Or are we all just supposed to stick to juvenile attempts at insults which bring nothing to the topic being discussed?
  15. Just letting you know how you're coming across
  16. That just leaves the gas ones. Fortunately more sites are realising that you need to only load 1 bb per shell to get an accurate result
  17. No idea if it's the same one but I've heard there's going to be a site opening near Hemel Hempstead soon. I would post to search faceache for South Hearts Airsoft, but there's ⅘ths of fuck all info there
  18. You said that's what she's doing. Pedanticly splitting between past and present tense is just being silly and childish
  19. Ever tried chronoing a tri shot down one? Firing 3 bbs down one can give some interesting results
  20. But that's exactly what you did. But a simple phone call is usually all that's needed, if that doesn't work then by all means, take it to to e mails. Perhaps you can use this as a lesson not to make assumptions and jump to incorrect conclusions in future
  21. That's a common thing and not just in airsoft. I suggest in future phoning the shop in question rather than taking to forums to make threads like this
  22. FYI you can get them new for that price, eg Patrol Base have them in stock for £54.99
  23. Have you checked the junk/spam folder of your e mail? I've had it before where an order confirmation e mail has gone to my inbox but follow up ones have gone to the junk folder
