    Hi @tommo thompson How long have you had it? I have the same charger.Ive had it four years now and to be honest if/when it gives up I will get another one. They are very good. If you do go for something else just read buyer reviews to get an idea of how good it is. Regards

    A local site.Thats good news👍 Go along or call them to book a game day as a rental which means you will use their gun and bb's. Lunch may be included. If its a woodland site then good boots with ankle support are recommended and of course,EYEPRO! If I is an indoor cqb site then I would recommend no exposed skin!! Lol You will have to play min of three games in not less than 56 days to qualify for a defense which will enable you to buy your own rifs otherwise you would have to buy two tone imitation firearms.     Hi @stez and welcome to the pack 👋 I guess your first step will be to find your nearest airsoft venue or club and pop along to see what it's all about and ask questions. If you do make sure you have some good quality eye protection with you cause even if you are not intending to play you will be able to watch but only if you have eye pro on. People will be very forthcoming about what you need to get started and you can book a game day and use a rental gun to get the feel for it. It's a great sport/hobby but it can get expensive if you let it 🙂 Have a wander over to @GAMBLE's you tube channel for tips and advice. Nothing heavy just a down to earth insight into the game and what you will eventually need👍 Have fun looking around the forum and chatting to other members. Enjoy 👍 Regards

      In my loft I have the first 50 issues of that build your own robot. Never even been opened. Had them for at least 20 years?

      Would have been a pretty sad old robot compared to todays.

       

      I think my plan was to keep them for something to do in my older years. 

       

      I didn't know that it would run into a lot more issues than that!

       

      Probably got enough parts to make a limp along bot though lol

    Hi @Paulrep👋 Welcome to the forum. Are you a complete newbie or have you played before? Are you hoping to take on a sniper role or is it just for back yard use.(if you have a long garden) If you aren't already it may be good idea to find an airsoft site near you and attend a few games to get an idea of what it's all about. I've never been interested in the sniper role preferring instead a more active approach. There will be plenty of people on here that will guide you though👍 Have fun and enjoy🙂 Have a look at @GAMBLE. He has a you tube channel which is very informative and fun 😀 Regards

    My best man was a coloured gentleman. I don't mean lots of colours just one main colour.Black He was a groundwork on a site I was working at. We started talking and struck up a good friendship. And as @Tacklesays we could say anything without it being offensive for either of us. It was always a laugh if he was laying tarmac or I was spreading snowcem plaster lol Regards

    I had a gopro 2 gun mounted at the nae. Fully charged battery and I put the settings down to 960 and 25 frames.it only lasted 30 mins lol. Sound was awful as well. Don't think I'm gonna be posting vids anytime soon.lol

    Great weekend at national airsoft festival.

    Fantastic weather but cold at night. had the fire going so that was good.

    Games were good. Plenty of walking and stalking. Only two players were stretchered off with broken bones ☹

    I took a nasty fall during night game but just bruised and couple of cuts.

    Met some smashing people from home and abroad and had a lot of laughs.

    Caught up with a forum member (shadowfacex) great guy to talk to. Turns out he tagged along with us to form a fire team 4 years ago. 

    Overall on the weekend bravo team lost but that don't matter none cause in my mind the whole weekend was a winner🙂 and I got seven good kills so bonus  lol.

    Here's to next year👍

      Genuinely how did you manage to have a fire? Last couple of times I was at Ground Zero they were determined that even a single mk5 going off would make the entire woods go up in flames.....

      Yes that's right.No hot burning pyro allowed in game areas but open fires are allowed in the camping zones so long as they are in a container and off the ground.

      Oh and it's a no no to pinch the estates logs lol.
