  1. A man and his wife were driving home one very cold night when she asked her husband to stop the car. There was a baby skunk lying at the side of the road, and she got out to see if it was still alive. It was, and she said to her husband, "It's nearly frozen to death. Can we take it with us, get it warm, and let it go in the morning?" He says, "O.K., Get in the car with it." "Where shall I put it to get it warm?" He says, "Put it in between your legs. It's nice and warm there.” "But what about the smell?" "Just hold its nose." The man is expected to recover, but the skunk she used to beat him with died at the scene
  2. Lookin' good bud 👍 I like the contrast.
  3. A man walks into a rooftop bar and takes a seat next to another guy. “What are you drinking?” he asks the guy. “Magic beer,” he says. “Oh, yeah? What’s so magical about it?” Then he shows him: He swigs some beer, dives off the roof, flies around the building, then finally returns to his seat with a triumphant smile. “Amazing!” the man says. “Lemme try some of that!” The man grabs the beer. He downs it, leaps off the roof —and plummets 15 stories to the ground. The bartender shakes his head. “You know, you’re a real jerk when you’re drunk, Superman.
  4. . Why do bees stay in their hives during winter? Swarm.. I've lost my wifes audiobook. Now I'm never gonna hear the end of it!
  5. Hiya bud. Yes it's worth a go. As you say it's a compact site but still good distances between teams if you need it. Mixture of dense rhododendron and wooded areas. Features and props are being added on a regular basis,a tunnel is being constructed at the moment to link two parts of the site. It's what I call a clean site. It's very sandy soil which drains well and even after rain it's very difficult to get too dirty so even laying down you are not gonna get in a shit state, and any mud on boots ect just dries and falls off. We have a large parking area and most times combat south park their mobile shop there if not consumables are available as well as drinks and snacks. On site portaloos generally well kept. Large covered area for bombing up and free tea and coffee. Come on down mate it's worth a punt👍 Regards
  6. Well I'm glad about that. That sort of behaviour isn't acceptable. I for one would have promptly left.....after she had finished 😵‍💫
  7. Hi fella enjoy the forum. All peculiarities of humanity lurk within these well thumbed and hallowed pages. Take from them as little or as much as you want. Above all enjoy 👍🙂 Regards
  8. Agree strongly. I bomb up,charge up,and dress up the night before so that when I get to the site I'm ready to roll. I hate it when the "okay guys ten mins" turns into twenty five and the two mins shout is at least ten.
  9. Yeah stock as far as I know.it was chronoing a wee bit hot but that may well be my cheap chrono.
  10. Great day at ucap green ops. Marshalls and staff were on top form. I, especially, had a good day because I have adopted a dmr role and the gun that I used, purchased from this very forum,(thanks @cyanide14k),performed faultlessly. I was surprised at how much more range I could get with .30. The scope made so much difference to target finding. Total of ten good hits although I have to admit to two home kills🥴 Not a large turnout, about 45,but good, honest play all round with no player fallouts and lots of complimentary calls. I think I have found a style of play that suits me now that I am getting older.More relaxed and laying in wait from good cover. I will still switch to assault play on good days when the bones aren't shouting STOP! You maniac lol. Tired but happy🙂🙂 Regards
  11. Well I'll put a good word in for the national Airsoft event. I've been going there since 2016 and will go again this year(god willing)because,in my opinion, it's a good, well run event with bonuses that aren't offered at any other Airsoft venue.(correct me if I'm wrong). It's fine if you have tried it and decided it's not your thing but if you have never gone then it's a bit like the argument along the lines of 'I hate prawns,I've never tasted one myself but a friend said they are disgusting' It's a good, fun getaway,in my opinion, with the chance of finding some good bargain gear. Oh and the gameplay is pretty good too 🙂 Chrono is pretty strict and diligently enforced. I have been in game checked.

Great to hear it, and yes, DMR or BASR does make for more leisurely play.  When Major Move-Up! starts yelling (from 10 yards behind you), you can say "Can't mate, MED, mate." ;)

  13. Right. Keep the noise down you orrible bunch. I'm off to bed. Early start tomorrow. Game on at ucap green ops.🙂🙂

  14. It's a bit like getting a new girlfriend. You liked the look of her or she was cheap,(either way works),all the functions worked and she did what you wanted. Its when you get married that you see where changes can be made and like Airsoft those changes come at a price. It's around about this time that you may think about getting another model that suits you better or keep the one you have and get a backup.👍😉 Ouch! Dammit Hun I didn't know you were behind me.😂
  15. Thanks for heads up bud and I hope it is a genuine oversight or just,as you say, an unfortunate sequence of events. Best of luck and hopefully it will end well for you👍 Regard
  16. My wife.asked if she could have some peace and quiet while she cooked dinner....... So I took the battery out of the smoke alarm!
  17. He used invisible ink. Hold it up to a flame.😂😉
  18. Hi bud and welcome back to the fold 👍 As you say,you never really give up, just resting.🙂 I'm sure there will be some members that play that site that you will meet up with. Enjoy your comeback and may the hits be with you. Regards
  19. One question that I have never been able to answer is how did that Penguin manage to write all those books.🤔
  20. I know what you mean.it looks like it's fallen out with the the gun lol but I have one on my gun and it does help with sighting especially if you wear a helmet.ive got used to mine now and it just seems natural for it to be there. Regards
  21. Cleanliness is next to godliness. That's the last time I buy a dictionary from Poundland.
  22. A sadist, a masochist, a murderer, a necrophile, a zoophile, and a pyromaniac are all sitting on a bench in a mental institution. "Let's have sex with a cat?" asked the zoophile. "Let's have sex with the cat and then torture it," says the sadist. "Let's have sex with the cat, torture it, and then kill it," shouted the murderer. "Let's have sex with the cat, torture it, kill it and then have sex with it again," said the necrophile. "Let's have sex with the cat, torture it, kill it, have sex with it again, and then burn it," said the pyromaniac. There was silence, and then the masochist said: "Meow
  23. I know what the words mean but can't form them into that punchline ☹️
