Nothing more to add to this, pretty much spot on, though it's worth mentioning the TMs do actuallyhave different gearbox designs so be aware standard parts won't fit.

If you want to hit 50m make sure it's firing around 350 fps and upgrade your hop and barrel and use .25s. Quicker and easier than a whole load of unnecessary gearbox upgrades.

Not to put a downer on it but I still think the best opportunity is the NAE- a lot of people, like Ed for example, go to that which means travelling down from whichever northern place that they live which would take considerable time and money to do so.- doing it again even if not as far for a smaller event may not be worth the cost of doing so. With the NAE, although it might not be an AFUK specific event, at least there will be a lot of people from all over from the forums attending.

There are more forum members in England than Scotland, it makes more sense to centralise it for the majority than for the odd few people in other places. We wouldn't hold it in the Isle of Man just to please utj and Mack over in Ireland... Or was it NI? As much as it'd be nice to, the best option is to make it central to the masses. I'm based in Southampton and Portsmouth but I'd still expect it to be a number of hours away, it's the most fair to have it that way. I'd suggest something slightly further north than gunman and more central in the country.

I think you might struggle to find one with free shipping to the UK. I know echigoya had free shipping on stuff a while ago but they're japan based. Ehobby and WGC shop are worth a look though.

The wire does show however it's quite thick and only shows a very small amount- certainly not something that'd get damaged that's for sure. As for externals, the VFC plastic parts are better, the upper receivers are about equal however the TM colours match very closely to the real thing whereas the VFC are noticeably different and the WE isn't even close. The VFC is better value for money (and that's from a TM owner), but if you have the money, really do go for the TM.

To be honest the NAE is probably the best opportunity as a lot of the people from here attend there anyway. Not central though so not ideal for everyone.

The TM. I wouldn't say it's hard to upgrade, the barrel and hop is very easy to get too but the gearbox has a bit more to it.

I've used a vision king and they're very good- their reputation is well deserved imo.

I mean most companies will replicate the trademarks from real guns, whereas g&g use their own made up stuff which judging by your current lower would suggest that it's not a g&g/

Just a heads up, pretty sure that isn't a g&g, I dont think they do older AR15s and they tend to use fake trades.

It's to hold the hop arm in place. And yeah as monty suggests, check the nub is still there and that it's assembled properly.

By recoil shock v2, they're either referring to the version 2 gearbox (which the scar also has) or slightly updated parts. Either way, the Scar is as good as the 416 anyway so you have nothing to worry about. As for uprated springs, mine has a 350 fps one in it and is fine.

It's a vltor upper, not a magpul one, the rail looks like a troy mrf. First thought was to say king arms, however it looks as though it could have just been put together from parts, or just be from a clone manufacturer due to the lack of trades- It's an m7 so there's a few makes that produce them.

You can use a gbbr all year, especially a g39, which handles the cold very well.
