  1. Personally I wouldn't just to be on the safe side. I wouldn't care but there's always the odd one or two who will.
  2. Hahaha, how have I only just seen this thread? But no joke, I'm applying asap.
  3. If you get a sling that attachs via QD sockets (I think the mapul ms4 does) then that will fit straight to the rifle.
  4. Probably just Airsoft world over-charging, they're generally one of the more expensive retailers.
  5. What do you want us to recommend then? Rail covers and a foregrip?
  6. That's the thing with WE guns in general their quality control level means they don't fit in either section really as it's down to luck- though of course they have certainly improved recently
  7. A stock sniper is useless but that doesn't mean it's unreliable
  8. A stock vsr can last for ages, the stock for spec I bought must've had at least 30k rounds through it. Upgraded then it'll break but firing 290ish stock they're fine tbh
  9. Socoms can be had for about 420, 6 mags is maybe another 100 or so, then it just takes normal batteries, preferably 7.4 lipos.
  10. As far as i know If you're waiting and can wait a while, there is a recoil 417 in the pipeline. how customisable are they? If you get a socom with the normal batteries then it'll take pretty much any normal external (apart from receivers and specific recoil outer barrels). It's a TM so normal TM compatible parts will fit. how reliable? It's a TM, there's more to go wrong than normal aegs but it's not a problem. I've had two for coming on two years and neither have had issues. One was second hand and was running fine with an upgraded spring beforehand for another year and a half. how well do the perform? Very well, some of the best guns out of the box and very fun to shoot with the recoil weight. are they worth the money? Yes.
  11. All looks a bit call of duty-ish to me, I like the guns to look realistic so don't really see the appeal of this, but if that's your thing then that's cool. Looks like good work though anyway.
  12. Quality of the barrel is the important thing. Don't worry about diameter or length (within reason) buy the highest quality one you can.
  13. Only took them what, 5 years. Still nice to see.
  14. It's not really a saving unless you'd actually have spent over £350 on disposable pro anyway Shame about the holder/pouch though, I thought that was the best looking thing about the oshiboom
  15. To be honest either of these guns would be just fine and you wouldn't be at any real disadvantage. Of the two I'd go for the KWA.
  16. Judging by the options he's given I don't think he's after a pricier rifle.
  17. Depends on the wood, some are more green and some more brown etc, they're not all the same.
  18. Yeah, when Esoterick came it was during the heavy storms and wind earlier in the year and being quite exposed in some areas made for shall we say interesting gameplay. As for the people there, it's a smaller site and everyone's friendly, you'll be hard pressed to find someone who won't talk to you.
  19. Sam and I have played together a lot over the last couple of years, though of course now he's a marshal so plays a bit less- still gets shot as often though of course. Assuming Dutch is who I think it is then I've seen him a few times up at IS. There's a couple others on here who have played there too, who may be up for a game from time to time.
  20. Gonna have to be August for me too I'm off on holiday soon
  21. The asgk markings on tms doesn't mean they're made by asg
  22. I'm in Winchester and play at iron sight too, worth a look
  23. I admire the work, but I just know I would go through parts so quickly if given a hicap for a gbbr
