  1. A guy on Nickona's team had an sr47. He said it shook itself apart.
  2. Looks like VFC could be doing a gbb sr25

from what I've seen of the 417, cool down doesn't look that bad, too early to draw any proper conclusions though

Cool down being bad is effectively impossible when it has so much gas to get through in those massive magazines. I saw a test the other where they got through 120 shots on one gas fill. That's 5 freakin' BB reloads before re-gassing. It's immense as fook.

      Kick looked pretty decent too.

But the real test is in the longevity of the parts, and how easy it is to get spares.

  3. I was referring to the rule, I didn't not believe you
  4. In my opinion the best players tend to be the quieter people who've played for a while, they'll have a couple of mates possibly with them and have spent good money on decent kit but generally keep to themselves and aren't the loud obnoxious morons that fill so many sites. I don't like to generalise but in this instance I think it's just about right
  5. What do you use? If bac is the answer you really need to evaluate your first sentence UKARA isn't perfect but it's the most widely accepted system and has worked for the last 7 years.
  6. It's likely down to not fitting the recoil system in it. A solid stock would work but in a more popular sliding stock there's very little room for more than the gearbox
  7. I clothes-lined myself on a low branch in front of about 10 people once. Neve mind day/evening, I'm still regretting that!
  8. Annoyed for bringing a much stuff with me as I did. Not that I reduce the amount next time
  9. Option number one is your best bet. Though the other g&g is also a safe choice. Avoid the ares chances are it'll cost you a lot more than intended.
  10. Looks good, not a fan of the mag-well grip but if it works for you then can't complain.
  11. I may have my black battery wire clip thing somewhere, I'll keep an eye out for it as I don't use it.
  12. Not really worried me as such, just wondered what it was. Been very happy with it, I don't use it any more as I prefer my m4 instead. I bought the scar as it was a good deal at the time but not it just sits in the garage- nothing to take away from the gun though, very happy with it in pretty much every way- a tad on the heavy side but that's not a bad point really as that's a trait of the rifle if anything. If I was being really picky I'd say the plastic isn't as good as the vfc and as mentioned the stock isn't great, but one set to a position there's no need to change it so not a really issue in my opinion.
  13. Just checked, mine still has the moving sound inside it when tilted. Worth noting that on the 3 TM scars I've seen the stocks have been very stiff on each and the buttons are a bit 'mushy', I don't think it's a fault with yours.
  14. Doesn't matter though, even the limited recoil of airsoft moves the gun slightly putting you slightly off target, anything to reduce that is a benefit. Not hugely but a bit nonetheless. I find that it reduces the amount of sway in a gun a pretty large amount too. Normally you have the vast majority of the weight of the rifle supported by just the very bottom, holding the gun further out and higher up reduces that somewhat, kind of like holding a hockey stick- if you held just the bottom, it's got more mass that can become unstable, hold it half way and it's much less likely. I don't hold rifles in the full-on thumb over bore style but I tend to hold them much further forward than normal, since my old m14 gave me no choice but to do that as the weight was so far forwards I just carried it over onto pretty much every things else, it's more tiring over extended periods but definitely keeps the rifle more solidly planted in the shoulder.
  15. My scar has always been like that, haven't picked it up for ages though so can't remember if it still does. I'll check when I get home after work.
  16. Not literal bombs obviously similar to the usual cardboard pyro I believe.
  17. They remind me of old WE Gbbs. For every good one there's a bad one from what I've seen. Not a bad bet for the money for the cheap ones though. The expensive ones though, you'd be better off with a kwa recoil or something.
  18. My usual site has both a 6 rotor helicopter drone thing that drops bombs and other stuff and a heavy duty remote control car (controlled from a briefcase with front and back camera screens) that carries a huge array of pyro. I'll see if I can find a video of them.

Just use 7.4s. It's so much easier than worrying about stuff everytime you get a new aeg.
  20. Looks good but you'd benefit from more green tones I think, unless it's just the lighting it looks a little flat in terms of colour.
  21. Decided to switch my TM recoil mags and pmags from mid cap to real cap limits. Never used more than 2 mags (~200 rds) a game on the weekend. Will be a good preparation for going back to gbbrs too.

I'd love to do that, but a combination of being a crap shot and people not taking hits puts me off.
