Yup it sure does look nice..... it's similar to the madbull colour if not the same... they probably use the same RAL codes? The fundamental problem with the Mk18 MWS is that the hop rubber can't be changed easily coz you can't get the bloody rail off and ergo the barrel out. That is correct yes?

I thought the MWS MK18 rail is already FDE/tan/bronze or whatever in colour already?

Otherwise a tungsten carbide cutting bit should do it... but be careful you don't nick the barrel or rail... Dremel do a cutting/milling bit which will eat up the metal easily...

Damn! That’s the infamous MK18 with the almost impossible barrel nut isn’t it? I would have suggested using the correct tool to remove it but that may not be possible now as you’ve lost the teeth.

Haha busted, i do have black XTMs on the bottom of the rail. I won’t be leaving it on irons. I have options of red dots, ACOG and a strike eagle depending on the theatre of engagement I’ll be in at the time.

Added a Magpul grip and I must admit I’m beginning to really like the two tone. I’m just waiting on some MK18 KAC type sights to turn up and then that’s her done. If I could wrap the mags in a tan colour that would be epic but doubt that’s gonna happen

MWS grip. I’m trying to get it off, the grip that is, just thought I’d clarify that quickly 😂 I’ve had a look at the Eagle6 getting it off video (sounds so wrong) but wanted to know which Allen key is needed to get the blasted bolt off. This is the best I can do using my iPhone. Trying to focus on the reticle was a pain. As we all know the EOTech reticule image is made up of lots of holographic dots. It’s not a perfect reticule and there is a small amount of flare if that’s the right word to use.
