The stock TM bolt is pretty loud as a matter of fact. Also I reckon that chap has a G&P buffer which actually dampens the sound too and of course allows the lighter bolt to move back and forth faster and with less clang. Personally speaking, that’s just looks all wrong 😂

I should stick my G&P bolt in and see if I can do the same JuJu too? He’s probably lubed the bolt too I hazard to guess?

I haven’t unscrewed anything to see what the insides are like. To be honest I got it on a whim whilst waiting for my replacement marui nozzle to arrive. Now I’m thinking, I may as well get the G&P npas valve and shove it into this bolt so that I can swap to using higher power when needed. I’m on a standard length (CQB) barrel so either i get the 3.5 version of the npas or I just get a 4.5 and adjust the power accordingly and hope that version works with the CQB. Dunno yet. Any thoughts? Now going back to the screw part it’s holding the hammer part of the bolt or whatever it’s called. Unlike the marui which has that bit forged as part of the bolt the G&P has it as a separate bit. See the pins below and you’ll see what I mean.

I got my mitts on a G&P bolt. The bolt is very light, I’ve not weighed it yet but it’s definitely lighter than the stock marui. The quality is very high. I’ve taken a few close ups. You can see how well formed the nozzle is. Definitely better than an Angry Gun one IMHO. Now what’s interesting is that screw for the bolt carrier hammer assist/firing pin and the circlip holding it. Ain’t that a strange design or is this considered an enhancement? What gives?

What colour is that rail? I can't tell from the photo.. Only use good quality BB's! Stay away from Nuprol RZR. Use either Geoff's, BLS, Longbow or G&G. Weight wise anything from 0.28 to 0.32. It will lift unto 0.36 I've heard but on stock power that's pushing it... 0.30 is the sweet spot IMHO... That's just the way it is, I got a bunch from FS for £52 a pop.... I could have bought a spare mag practically if I had waited As the NIKE says...

I decided to upgrade two of my guns professionally and see what difference if any a professional tech could make. To be honest I could have done the same quality of job myself. Other than tuning and fixing a RHop and soldering wires. I hate soldering grrrr. Has it made me a better player. Nope. Does it make me smile each time I use them? Hell yes! Will I ever get a good return back on them if ever I sell them? Absolutely not! Oh will I ever use a tech again? Nope. Actually in all fairness a recoil is pretty easy to take apart and put back together. It’s not rocket science and there are so many videos on YT these days. All one needs is the right tools and a bit of patience and plenty of whiskey. Now going back to the actual topic... £900! Is it worth that’s? It’s all a matter of perspective. If the upgrades can be verified and you know which tech has done the work then there may be some merit is the asking price. If you don’t ask, you don’t get. But as I said, it’s quite easy to upgrade a recoil. But then again some people may just not want the faff of doing it themselves. Now, would I pay that for such an item which can’t be verified. Erm No! Nada! Nichts! No way hosey.... However there maybe someone who may.... Oh will it make you a better player? Erm.... somehow I doubt it.... but then again you may feel like the only seal team member on the field with your CAG 416 and that’s all that matters at the end of the day isn't it? .... enjoying oneself and taking part....

TM NGRS Delta, fully upgraded (by KoA), no box, got it in a SWAP, no BB's fired thru it and it's got an M100 so must be doing about 320-230fps..... although the chap doesn't have a chrono so can't verify it.... Ahhh gotcha.... do you need to use any additional bits or additional kit to use the Mapp gas? I assume the Mapp bottle has a nozzle which fits into the MWS valves?

There’s one for sale in the parts section I do believe. I had to google Maap gas if I’m being honest. it’s all beginning to look a tad ‘inflammable like my bbq lol. So why not just use black gas? Will that not work in colder temperatures?

Sounds promising..... although I may leave my MWS for the warmer months. Unless that is next Sunday we have a heat wave? What’s the chances of that? Hmmmm🤔 By the way, why do you need a rear sling plate. The MWS comes with one already yeah?

Ahhhhh I see what you mean now. That’s kinda similar to the Angry Gun MPA nozzle I’m trying it. You can adjust the screw using an Allen key and it has a washer attached to the screw to limit the gas flow.
