  1. If you have a spare moment can you lob up a pic of it on one of your RIF's. And are you using any magnification with your optic? Thx
  2. Real steel brand of sellotape. No knock off clone tape
  3. I’ve been having way too much fun here. Let me explain...... So, I wanted to try out a Unity mount on the MWS and wasn’t sure if I’d want to spend £200 on the real deal. I mean what if I didn’t like it? It’s a lot of money to spend on a real steel mount especially if you don’t like it afterwards. So fortunately Unity provide a template which you can download and create a mock up model of the mount. So guess what I did. Yup. Craft time 😂 Whatcha think fellas? Cerakote it? 😂. On a serious note the mount is pretty tall. It’s a 2.26inch variant which gives you a better shooting position when looking down the barrel. So based on this would you buy one?
  4. Good man @C-Diddy for reading all 200 pages. Your journey is now complete. Well almost....Now just get that damn MWS laddie and start having some fun. And for you’re preferred choice of BBs. Drum roll.... Don’t use Nuprol RZR bbs else the next 200 pages will be even more entertaining lol On reflection maybe I should start showing Nuprol some love? Give them a second chance? Hmmmmm? Actually sod that thought!!! 😂 . Guess which brand this rail is which Luke is referring too 😂😂😂😂
  5. There you go. If all else fails give it a good bash lol. Truth be told some of the MWS’s are like that too. You just got to give them a wee bash to dislodge any suction or whatever is holding the collar in place with the receiver.
  6. That MTR barrel looks like a giant drill bit...!! If the receiver end is the same as a regular MWS then a wee knock with a rubber mallet should do it... I'd check the manual first though just to make sure there's nothing extra in the MTR receiver/barrel assembly over a MWS just in case there's a grub screw lurking..
  7. It's always good to see this BB debate bubbling along... there really isn't a right or wrong answer when it comes to BB's other than DONT USE NUPROLS in a MWS!!! Like anything with an MWS, no two will probably function the same but will do within tolerances. The science and engineering behind the MWS is such that different people will have varying results. This is so true in the case of BB's. What works well for one person may not necessarily work as good for another. I believe It's trial and error to some degree, not I deal I know but that's the platform we are working with.
  8. Set up a stock alert. They come in in small quantities. Although they have most of the parts in so you can probably make up a new BCG from scratch lol
  9. Folks, Impulse101 have had a huge restock of Marui MWS parts... So get your springs, nozzles, buffers and whatever you feel you need a duplicate of.... or triplicate of or in my case QUADRUPLICATE of (is that even a word lol) And if you choose the airmail option it's about £9 equivalent and takes circa 2 week Happy shopping...
  10. Aimpoint T1 micro 2 MOA. This thing is tiny! It’s an absolutely awesome bit of kit. NV compatibility on the first 4 settings. Not that I have any NODs but hey you never know
  11. The ODIN speed loader has an adjustable clutch. There is a video on the ODIN Facebook page which says how to adjust the clutch as some people were having problems even with the new EPM mags (AEG version). I have two ODINS and they work flawlessly with my NGRS mags albeit you lose a couple off BB's in the Odin's loader pipe..
  12. Only if they have glitter on and covered with Marui fairy dust. Us operators have a rep you know.
  13. Dude this is not a buy/sell/interest thread... Suggest you post stuff like that in the classifieds section....
  14. ASG Devil Blasters are fine as a few folks on here have said. To be honest they ain’t my first choice for an MWS but as you’re just using them to chrono the rif they will suffice. The devil blasters are the more higher end of BB of the blaster range.
  15. I don't have any third party mags so can't comment I'm afraid.... With regards to the Marui XL it loads 4 bb's at a time so I usually do about 6 pumps and then struggle with the last couple. Having said that the more you use the mags the easier the spring will become to load bbs, so I've heard, but that's not worked for me yet... I've no idea what the longevity of the Marui XL is like but it's all plastic so I expect the MWS springs will destroy it at some-point sooner rather than later...
  16. Anything Nuprol is #bleep# The Marui XL speed loader... you simply can't beat it for the MWS mags!
  17. You all got it wrong.... it will come free with a packet of cornflakes.... but not just any cornflakes these will be Marui cornflakes 😂
  18. You know you've just answered your own question right? 😂 But yes, I'd do the same... just make sure when you reseat it the rubber is in the correct position. Make sure when you slap both halves of the hop chamber together you don't bulge/buckle/sag/push or whatever the right word is to the rubber... but you know what I mean..
  19. Well serves you right for reading this thread lol What are your plans for the CQBR? The strange results with the TM nozzle are more than likely down to the wear on the front end of the nozzle... I would expect each shot to drop by an FPS or 2 simply due to the reduction in the volume of gas and hence less pressure in the mag. The erratic behaviour implies there is as compression issue that's for sure.... Also make sure the sealing buffer (the rubber washer) is properly lubed up each time you take the bolt apart...
  20. Good choice....! Ahhhh the FS buy one get two mags deal thing How long before you stick a Mk18 rail on it? If you do, you'll need a PTS barrel adapter and a few shims.....
  21. Enquiries are already underway And yes I expect TM to milk the platform due to the potential variants. More interestingly will the architecture of this platform form the basis of all new EBB/Recoils going forward? Food for thought there I’d say!
  22. Stand them up vertically and see if the new DP nozzle protrudes a tad more. To me it seems the head of the nozzle seems a tad longer than the Marui one. But it may well be the way the pic is taken.
  23. For nozzle springs just get the ones Eagle6 make. Trying to get the Marui ones will not be easy. You just need to keep an eye out on the Japanese and HK airsoft sites as they tend to have the MWS parts in more frequently. Mind you nozzles and springs don’t hang around long so it’s the luck of the draw or a stock alert email. PTS adapter - I use one but still had to use shims to achieve a tight fit. I added a couple to get my MK18 rail to fit snug.
  24. Don't get me ranting on about cheap BB's.... I won't go on about it..... Promise... Scout's Honour... Honest! Bloody Nuprol RZR shite BB's! This is my order... 1. G&G's - The only downside about G&G is that you can't get the heavier ammo grade in the UK... I'm not sure why but you just can't. 2. Geoff's - (Super Precision variant. Geoff's do both Super Precision and Precision https://www.outdoorandtactical.co.uk/product/geoffs-super-precision-bbs-0-32g-3000-white 3. Longbow 4. BLS 5. ASG Devil Blasters
