Keep hearing someone testing/firing airsoft guns of various types. One of my neighbors is clearly an airsofter. Can't see which garden it's coming from and the sound is coming from too far away to pinpoint more than the rough direction. This angers me. I haven't yet had the luck to meet many airsofters down here, and until I do, I can't cadge lifts to games! Would it be wrong of me to go door-to-door canvassing the local area to track down airsofters?

I don't think it has much to do with the law as such. Z1 were fundamental in putting UKARA together and have always had stakes in it. Based on their performance prior to then (in mine and several acquaintances' experience), if they didn't have to be seen to uphold the core values of their own creation, they'd probably be selling crack to three year olds and using the money to make smoothies out of kittens (really adorable premium kittens too, no gammy street-cats here thank you very much). You can see evidence of what I mean by the way they run their forums, though I shan't go into detail because I don't think it's fair for me, as a mod here, to bash Z-In since it could be taken as biased-BS. Seriously though, they're alright, just I feel nowadays the VCRA has fallen into obscurity with everyone except customs and if UKARA were to stop existing tomorrow, and everyone went back to pre OCT-2007 behavior, I doubt anyone would notice or care. As far as I'm aware, there hasn't even been a single RIF/IF related case yet where it wasn't to do with some nob shooting people with a BB gun in the center of a town or some shite.

The trick with the opposite sex is training. Positive reinforcement works well 'Oi sweetcheeks, I'm buying another gun' If she tells you to f**k off, spray her with a water bottle and tell her again. She'll either kick you in the nuts (repeat the water bottle once you've stopped throwing up), or she'll kick you in the nuts till you feel bad enough you buy the gun anyway whatever she says (WARNING: BUYING THE GUN ANYWAY MAY LEAD TO BEING KICKED IN THE NUTS).

To my eye, some of that video looks like CG. It probably isn't, but there's a few bits where he doesn't move quite naturally, or fall quite right and my brain honestly just doesn't see it as possible that it's all real...I mostly mean the section between 3:50 and 4:26 - have a good close look 'cause it don't half look weird! If it is real, it's the weirdest thing I've ever seen!

In my experience, pretty much any midcap should feed okay up to about .28 - I've not used .3s so can't say on that but tbh, you're only looking at a couple of grams difference in the weight the spring has to push (say you have 100bbs in a mag, the difference between shooting on .2 and .3 is going to be +10g, I doubt it'd have that much effect on the spring) so I imagine pretty much any would do. You're likely to get better springs in mags with better branding if you're concerned though.

So I'm sat in a hotel at the moment watching Second In Command. It's awful. Like, really awful. So far I have witnessed EVERY cliche know to filmkind. And did you know, that if you cut the power cables to a cctv camera - the front of it will explode? Also, guns don't have recoil (who knew, everyone who's paid for a Recoil Shock has been ripped off). And EVERYTHING ELSE. Bad guys ALWAYS stand right in front of their enemy without armour of barricades or any substantial cover, because they've got a hostage and that makes it totally safe. The American embassy has a compound with a 10ft concrete wall and a solid steel, foot thick gate. BUT, because the enemy are coming, on foot, with mixed assault weapons, they feel the need to put a wardrobe against the front door to make sure the baddies stay out. The hero is a suave tough guy with a troubled past and a strange accent, and sure, he did that thing that time where he got everyone killed, but he NEVER misses and he NEVER needs to show caution because he's such a master tactician that he makes Shih-Tzu or whoever it was (who wrote the art of war) look like a three year old mashing his head against a keyboard whilst playing My Little Pony Island Adventure. And there's oh so so so much more. It's almost as bad as Olympus Has Fallen where the SAM system deploys out of the top of the whitehouse (in the opening scenes where they shoot down the AC130, it literally pops up out of the oval office so it must be awful cramped for Obama seeing as he's three billion f**king feet tall). I'm only watching this s**t because babestation isn't on yet... What's everyone elses favorite awful war films?

Ladies & Gents, as it has been suggested by several people and requested several times recently, I have decided to create a new Quick Questions thread. We have two threads previously like this, but I've decided to make a new one with a little more structure. When you ask a question please do so using red writing that way, it's easy for people scrolling down to find a question. When you answer a question, please quote (this will make sure the person gets a notification and they can click on it to open your answer straight away and it also lets people answer questions from a while ago if there have been new questions since then) the question and reply in blue writing so we know it's an answer. If you feel a question simply cannot be answered in one brief post, or is open for a lot of debate, create a thread to discuss it, and link the thread in your answer so everyone can find it. This should keep it clear what's what. Thread will be periodically preened and cleaned, and I may, if the whim takes me, create a section in this post with all the questions and the best answers in expandable boxes so everyone can see them forever and ever and ever. If your question or answer don't follow the requested template, I will either fix them if I like you, or delete them if I don't because no-one should have any difficulty getting it right after the first couple of attempts. Here's an example of how I want this to look: ====================================================================== Hi everyone, what am best gnu? ====================================================================== Best gnu am banana. ====================================================================== Go wild kids.

I'm alright with this thread, however there's a few things I'd like people to consider. Airsoft is a diverse sport with diverse equipment, requirements and suchlike. Often, there is no simple answer and indeed, most answers are simply opinion or experience based rather than fact - this often supports healthy debate and discussion which is the lifeblood of our community. As such, I feel it is better to voice questions in individual threads, or even come up with half a dozen on a certain subject and then make a thread, I honestly feel a thread like this only serves to stifle potential debate. I also feel it would be more constructive to revive the old quick questions thread and pin it, rather than making a thread just for one person. As I say, I'm not going to close this thread or anything, but just some food for thought!

Don't usually do this sort of rubbish when a celebrity snuffs it, this time though, I feel it's truly deserved. Throughout my childhood, I can only really remember the odd bit, frankly my childhood was riddled with grief, loss and anger - and I'm not exaggerating, nor am I bitching because it made me who I am today (and I'm f**king proud of how I turned out). One of the things that sticks out clearest in my mind is that Robin Williams starred in a great many of the go-to films that were there for me when I was down. Throughout the rest of my life, his more 'educated' and 'adult' stuff has also been hugely important to me, because frankly, anyone can be in a film, but very few people can claim to have a true talent that runs down to their very foundations. I never met the man, I never spoke to him or had anything to do with him in his life as a 'real person' rather than as an image on a screen, but I'll be eternally grateful that when everything was going s**t for me, he made it a bit better through his work. One of the things that's really stood out to me, is that people are really upset about this, I've seen more of my friends on Facebook getting upset over this than at any other time and I think it speaks volumes to his worth, people at work are properly shocked by it too. I think it's really sad that a man who brought joy to a large percentage of the planet can die alone in some room because he thinks he's so worthless, and it's so bad he'd be better off dead and I think for that, society has a lot to answer for - in a world where paedophiles get it cushy in prison, or murderers are executed humanely and knowing their loved ones are watching them (and can take comfort that they're at least there for them) - it's very wrong that anyone who has spent their life making people happy can be allowed to despise themselves so much that suicide is a good idea. Anyone else feel as strongly about this as I do or am I just a tit? Either way, let's chat s**t about our favorite Robin Williams stuff?

The screen is really quite good on the hudl, sure it's got a bit more bezel but it just means you can hold it more easily without putting your fingers in front of what you're viewing.
Had mine for a few months now, only couple of problems I had with it were patched.
It's especially good if you have clubcard vouchers, got it for only £60.

I'm currently on a aTAB 2 (the 7 inch version- I understand you can get a 10 inch variant) and do most of my posting on here from it.
It is a damn good piece of kit for what you pay, and does pretty much everything you need it to (other than one small problem which I detail below)
My only problem with the TAB is that mine only chrono'd at about 50FPS, but yours may differ due to many possible factors such as your own muscle mass, accessories that you may have attached to t...

This is a longshot but has anyone here got Warhammer: Battle March - if so, what magic sorcery did you use to get the game to run? Did you have to sacrifice many virgins? What spec was your sacrificial altar? Did you find blood infused with Red Bull more effective? Cheers.

I'm still a stalwart fan of NiMh because they're cheap as chips and I like what I know. Any 8.4v NiMh battery pack of the right size will pretty much be as good as any other in my experience, so if you do go that way, just visit component-shop and get some from there. If you want to go LiPo (which I'd recommend because it's the future and I just refuse to catch up), then I have no further guidance for you.
