Really? D: My old pair were amazing! This upsets me muchly! I'll have to look at something else - in terms of them needing to be optimised for gaming, they're more for general use as well as gaming so I'm just looking for all round reasonable quality. Seen some good Seinheisser sets for about the same price - the only other thing I think I might want so far would be a set of wireless headphones for when I'm in the mancave performing my great manly works (wires of course not being conducive to extreme manliness). Any recommendations for an upper budget of £50? I've got fairly medium sized hands but I'm used to smaller mice so don't think it'll be an issue (I already have carpal tunnel as well, if anything, more carpal tunnel would be nice 'cause then my doctor might pull his finger out his anus and do something for me on that).

Much appreciated good sir! Being the 'legal guy' for most of the forum, it shames me to ask, but are there any restrictions/rules about public spaces? I've got a HUGE recreation ground behind my house - which is probably empty 80% of the time and strikes me as the perfect place for this sort of thing - is it okay just to go fly somewhere, or are there restrictions stating where you can/can't fly? The BMFA site only mentions insurance re: crashing places/damaging peoples' gear (does imply damage to persons as well but isn't clear) and policies on disabled members!

What's it cost to get started with something like that? When I was younger I was given a 1:24 Spitfire with (I think) a petrol engine. It was totally knackered and my neighbour helped me pull it apart/work on it but we never got it flying (I was only about 9 I think). Would love to give it a go. Also won a swish RC helicopter once. Took it home, attempted to fly it. Promptly destroyed it and most of my mothers' plants in the garden. Was not permitted to get another one. (The most worrying thing perhaps is that I'm part qualified for a PPL)

For metal or plastic you can use undiluted dettol original. It depends on what sort of paint has been used but i strip a lot of plastic/metal/resin models and dettol is pretty good! Whatever you use, strip EVERTHING down to barebones parts first! Knew a guy once who dunped his entire gun in industrial tar remover on the recommendation of a guy, the gun was plastic, what he got in the end was goo and the metal internals - everything plastic disintegrated.

Mate, the Sims 3 is EXCELLENT. Haven't had enthusiasm for shooters aside from a quick blast now and again since I started airsofting nine years ago and I'd rather do my shooting-of-people outside, where their pain and anguish is real As for the Sims 3, hat's some hardcore stuff right there.

So my plans for a desktop computer fell through and I'm now looking at a laptop more capable for gaming on. I've selected two options within my budget and available to me at a remarkably reasonable rate and just want some thoughts.
