  1. When I started out I brought a surplus Osprey vest from ebay, did the job for a time but made it a little difficult to move in cqb. Can be picked up quite cheap too and the pouches for the system are cheap also coming back after lockdown it was a bit............ snug I've since gone to a molle belt with shoulder straps, can carry what I need and is so much lighter and easier to move in. also the molle on the straps can be used for smaller pouches I carry 2 double SVD/VSS pouches, a double pistol pouch, pistol holster and a dump pouch on the belt and a grenade pouch and bayonet on the straps
  2. I've been after an original for a while and am in the same boat as I want one for my SVD patrolbase do some replicas that look right although don't adjust or anything. Vector optics apparently do a good one although they are sold out @Adolf Hamster is selling a Real sword PSO scope atm so may be worth giving him a shout I've also found them on kula tactical and am debating pulling the trigger and getting one from the motherland 😂 As I have the cyma VSS the dust cover is too high to use the PSO I already have and I've been toying with the idea of getting a Picatinny version so use on a rail mount
  3. anyone got any experience with the AY Vikhr?

  4. some units still have a small amount of hop applied even if fully off my VSS can still hop a .30 when the hop is fully off due to there still being a small amount applied might be worth trying some heavier ammo and see how you get on with range
  5. depends on the suppressor, some have an inner tube that will allow the bb to exit without too much trouble, some have nothing and the bb can catch the endcap and be deflected other are foam filled and can deflect the bb with loss of power can all depend on the initial accuracy of the gun and movement etc
  6. Don't know much about LCT internals but I've worked on aa few V3 boxes and plastic teeth are the norm usually there's a good chance as you say the teeth are worn down and can't quite grab the piston effectively in full auto also it coud be that the gears are grabbing the piston too early and can't mesh very well depending on the spped of the motor and gears I'd suggest trying a full steel rack and the slower gears then see how you get on then change to the faster gears if all is well also what motor are you using?
  7. Greyshop........take my money!!

the svd is sold, but methinks that's a pairing could do with a pso-1 and pk-1 respectively :P

lol..he was selling Mk7's..so I bought some!  Also I asked about my BFG as he also mentioned in safety brief plastic encased grenades are ok...and my BFG though metal is encased in plastic.  Looks like BFG's are back on the menu...though Magflash is probably a bit over the top, so will stick to 9mm blanks. :)

Let me know how you get on!

Unfortunately, I've been summoned for a meal that day (it better be fucking good!), so unable to make it.

  10. I did it with my RK-74 and it seemed more responsive and definetly more reliable
  11. VSS performed well even though a couple of the mags didn't feed very well, but I suspect it may be down to the ammo

and it also was overhopping .40s 😁

  12. if you can, get the perun model model made as an upgrade for the G&G
  13. Can't say in the long run but I've been told that CO2 can wear down seals quicker as its a "dry" gass I run a maintenance capsule through mine occasionally to keep it working well
  14. if your not sure then do an appraisals post if you know the value then make a classified advert
  15. So DMR'd the VSS, m140 spring, sorted the airseal, AOE and shimming

Should be getting around the 450-470 fps

Fire a few down the garden with .20s

    565fps.................

    Holy section 5 batman

Isn't this the very core belief of airsofting though , wanting something that’s absolutely and utterly ridiculous and or utterly useless in reality ? but “it’s shiny and I MUST have it !” 😍

Jamf Pro uninstaller policies with a little help from Munki

Are they applying VAT at the point of sale, or are we gambling on HMRC / Border Farce doing it on a timescale of sometime-to-never?

  19. So now patrolbase are doing mags for the Cyma VSS

with some paypal funds and a good pay week I ordered the gun to go with them 😂

and now to gut it and DMR it.................

  20. Hello and welcome This has been asked many times and ther are numerous threads about vendors in the forums https://airsoft-forums.uk/forum/10-places-to-buy/ Personally I use patrolbase, fire support and a few others as between them they generally will have everything you need but be wary as it can get expensive reaally quickly also shop around as prices can vary wildly between vendors
  21. Firstly hello and welcome 😁 most sites have benches and chairs so it might not be worth getting a chair (depends on the site though) I've seen a few guys use little camping stoves to cook some food and some even take MRE packs maybe a small backpack to carry extra ammo, drinks, snacks etc might be a good idea
  22. Somebody please sell me a VSS 😂

and yes I've done a wanted ad

If you not already seen it, Patrol base have a Cyma VSS in stock and for sale, it maybe of some interest to you. https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/cyma-cm-099-vss-vintorez-replica

yeah I've seen it, I'd rather not pay that much when TG have it considerably cheaper but won't deliver here atm

also PB won't do the price match as TG is abroad 🤬

      thanks

  23. that looks just the same as when i opened mine up except for the frayed wiring they are made by king arms and all that looks just like mine was except the cylinder head was black in mine i think and it had a delay chip on the sector gear
