  1. Hk says the 417 can be had in 3 different barrel llengths,13" being the shortest. https://www.heckler-koch.com/en/products/military/assault-rifles/hk417/hk417-a2-13/overview.html
  2. Look on the bright side, it's a good excuse to buy one, as I'm sure you've fancied buying one for ages.
  3. Maybe you could accidentally spray it with some bright orange paint tomorrow?
  4. Not got one yet, but I've been looking at the TMC Shuto belt. Might be an option for you? https://www.shootercbgear.com/new/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=11728
  5. I'm no expert, but believe that the wearing of collar dogs by ORs on service dress was more a between the wars thing. You'll want to look at getting metal shoulder titles instead. As to the revolver and holster, they were used on a limited basis by other ranks (job dependent), but were usually carried instead of a rifle.
  6. Just curious, but since you've been playing for 7 years, why did you wait till yesterday to join here?
  7. I haven't had problems with it yet myself, but have heard from my Dad that cutting down on dairy products can help.
  8. I don't know about that. Woodwork for the No.1 MkIII is not as common as for the No.4 rifles, and even repro stocks are quite expensive.
  9. It's the blue threadlock. The red is permanent! I used the blue on the buffer tube of my GBB M4A1. Not has a problem since. Edit: just looked on the Henkel website, and they recommend the purple loctite for low strength metals like aluminium and brass (and presumably pot metal too).
  10. I thought I'd heard that the Umarex Glocks were the same dimensions as the real steel. Obviously not. That's a bit disappointing, as there's going to be issues getting them to fit all sorts of holsters.
  11. Lovely! I used to have a real steel Cz75. Great pistol! I've been considering getting an airsoft version myself.
  12. Looks to be the same as the one featured here (from 2008): https://www.popularairsoft.com/news/uk-tactical-warrior-ricas-multicam
  13. I do like the G3, gets me all nostalgic. Which make is it?
  14. A mate of mine has the Cybergun CO2 version and he's been very pleased with it. It looks and feels the part, and if you do decide to shoot it, they seem to shoot quite well too.
  15. I'd try to get them swapped if I were you. No point in trying to get on with boots that are too small for you.
  16. Are you a smoker? I went from 69 to 83 kilos in the space of three or four months when I stopped smoking.
  17. What make/model are the multicam trousers?
  18. An easy rule of thumb for calories burned while running/walking, is your weight in kilogrammes per kilometre covered.
  19. This could be a great scenario for an airsoft game though. Do you have any friends who would also want to wear a gorilla suit while playing? You could do the whole 'Planet of the Apes' thing.
  20. The lack of replies suggests that no-one here knows.... In that case, does anyone have an Army R85A2 and can show me how the rail fits on to the rifle, so I can compare it to the DD model?
  21. As per title, does the Army R85A2 rail fit the ICS L85A2? I'm guessing that I'd have to use the same adaptor as required for the G&G version of the DD rail? Anyone know?
  22. Anyone dealt with weapon762.com in Spain? Only bought from them once myself, and that was gear rather than a RIF. Positive experience though.
  23. Is it a 'Lee-Armalite' or an 'AR No.1' ?
