Sorry to necro an old thread, but I just found this. My ICS Hera Arms CQR came with the decocking function (latch on the back of the ARL which is knocked by the selector plate). I was going to put a new ARL in, but it didn't have the pin long enough to attach the latch, so I kept the stock. Are there any downsides to removing this?

My SCAR-H I'm calling the 'Broadsword'. I just need a new torch, and a couple of unity mod buttons for the dbal/torch and it's finally finished.

Finally got my MAWL today: My heavily customized ICS Hera I'm calling 'Orion'. I've still got the lower receiver the change and the handguard. Strike Industries pins, and an Acetech Blaster supp/tracer unit.

Just shot 214rds and this is the telemetry from GATE GCS: shs 12:1 gears, j-cage bearings, warhead standard motor, 11.1v lipo. Oh and PDI 150% variable spring. (M135) I just shot it through the chrono (no idea what weight was in the mag so I tried .25 and .28) any ideas?

It's almost complete. I need to swap the wilcox for a black one, dremel the BCM gunfighter foregrip to fit on the rail properly (PMM rails), figure out how to get a battery in that stock, get a better torch, and modlite buttons for the torch/dbal. Total cost on this gun so far is around £3k With a warhead motor and good shimming it's quite tap tap tappy.

The VFC SCAR-H selector plate is trash, as is any nylon or other platic ones you can buy, if you use the lever on the right (because you're left handed), the teeth on it get stripped crazy easily. So I found an .stl file of it on thingverse, got it printed in aluminium - it wasn't shaped properly - learned to mod the file myself enough, got it printed again in aluminium (shit is expensive, talking like, £35 for a selector plate). Anyway, here it is. I can post the modded file if anyone wants it. So ended up paying about £20~ w/local shipping (GER) for 2 heads, then had to pay the proxy shipper about £45 to send em' to me. Thankfully no customs / import tax on them. The only things I'm getting hit with import tax since brexit is the US, which is normal anyway - anything from EU/asia gets through fine.

Certifiably good kit. What paddle is that? It looks midride but has a thigh strap? I have long arms and have found that a midride on a shooter belt is too high up for me to comfortably draw from, I even tried a cantable paddle but that was worse because it wouldn't stay in the angle I put it. I'm trying to find a good middle between midride and lowride. And don't get me started on the actual holster itself, I'm left handed which makes things difficult to start with, and then I use non-standard guns that won't fit into anything.

It has taken ages but now a lot of sites WILL finally ship here, but only if you spend at least £140. I needed a specific cylinder head, an shs ak one, an EU store is the only one I could find it on, including the US, so I had it shipped to https://www.forward2me.com/warehouses/germany/ and then paid them to ship it on to me. They charged me like £50. If it wasn't hard enough to get parts in the UK for airsoft, this just makes it 10x worse. I'm now having to wait until I am ready to buy a bunch of stuff from the EU so I can have it all proxy-shipped in one package.

I was going to use a thin clear PVC tube and stick the leds dotted from about an inch from the exit of the grenade to the end of the tube, you know like a line of them, but also up/down/left/right etc in the tube. I can feed the wires (they're super thin.) through a hole I can drill in it and feed them through the small opening between the upper/lower receiver, hook it up to the battery, and then have the trigger in the GL just a simple switch with the positive wire. Although, I have 4 grenades, at £17 a grenade for the adapter alone, it'd be way easier to put it in the tube. Plus, you're gonna have the adapters and the tracer bit sticking out of every grenade in your pouches too etc. Yeah, my idea is better still. I've got a MAXX Hop in my SCARH with the tracer unit installed (and a spare set of the tracer leds for it which is what prompted the idea), this is how it looks:

To adapt the 40mike to what exactly? I'm planning to do this in a Matrix EGLM tube along the inside of the tube, using it with 40mikes and master mikes. Going to wire it up to the trigger on the GL too, you'll have to hold it down until all BBs have exited the tunnel in an orderly fashion however to keep it lit.

It was for about .2 of a second, it's no biggie It does make watching shows I used to really enjoy like Always Sunny difficult though.. if you've seen it, you know what I mean.

I'd recommend looking into stoic philosophy, and focusing on mindfulness meditation - meditation sounds like a scary word if you've never done it, but it comes in many forms - it doesn't just mean sitting there, legs crossed, going hmmmmmm to yourself, you can practice mindful meditation at any point anywhere.

My only thought is that there's so many BBs propelled out at such high velocity that they don't get fully illuminated, but my solution to that is just to add more LEDs down the tube.

I just got this today and drilled a hole through the 'god' part to stick on my keychain.
