Working on this; put some nylon sheath over the wires so the stock can retract back and forth nicely.

I like to keep it handy, cocks, for close encounters. Edit: also, dope guns.

Like I said, I've cut the titan wires back to the board and I'm going to rewire it nice and clean when the new wire comes in. I'm committed to the maxx tracer at this point, I took a dremel to my RA GB. nowhere for another battery, plus being wired to the motor before the trigger means it only turns on when you pull it. I have no doubt this wouldn't be an issue with any other gun that isn't a SCAR, there is just no room for those 24g sensor wires without causing fitment issues. I bought an Acetech Lighter BT Tracer unit for my Orion Can't wait to get it setup and shooting red tracers.

does this count?

The 16awg and being 2mm OD is basically what I needed, because it was impossible to not have my pinion gear shred my wires - wiring the maxx hopup tracer unit into it just took up too much space, I ended up taking a dremel to my retroarms GB and cutting some space: The wiring ended up being a total mess because I was trying to save what little EcoWire I had left, I've since chopped the titan down to short wires to re-do it. But basically I threaded the positive wire from the titan around the outside of the GB so it doesn't have to cross the gap under the pinion. I had to do this, because you need to wire the tracer into the battery wires before the trigger, and if you route them outside of the GB, one of them will stop the grip from fitting properly against the GB, if you try to fit them all inside, there just isn't enough room under the 'lip' below the pinion gear, which results in shredded wire sheathing and shorts.

NOW I see somewhere has it in stock here.. Oh well, I'm gonna make the 14awg fit so I can get maximum brrrt with my DSG.
-
I decided to pick up 4 meters of 14awg and 16awg wire, the 14awg is 3.6mm O/D, but with the modifications I've made to my GB I should be able to actually use it - get a full 32amps through it. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/361296232202?var=630634243754

I've been using EcoWire Plus; Alpha Wire EcoWire® Plus Hook-Up Wire Alpha Wire EcoWire® Plus Hook-Up Wire is 100% recyclable, halogen-free wire that resists hazardous fluids, has a -40°C to +110°C temperature range, and is ideal for industrial applications. This wire is up to 15% lighter and up to 30% smaller diameter than polyethylene (XLPE) hook-up wire. Alpha Wire EcoWire Plus wire is insulated with modified polyphenylene ether (mPPE) thermoplastic and does not contain heavy metal pigments. This mPPE-based insulation helps manufacturers meet WEEE requirements. This 300V wire is available in 28AWG to 10AWG, suitable for ISO 6722, and is RoHS, REACH, and CE compliant. https://www.mouser.co.uk/pdfDocs/EcoWireandEcoWirePlusBrochure_web_3-26-14.pdf (page 4) That came with an order from SR in the US, but this stuff is impossible to find here unless you buy in the hundreds of meters - are there any equivelants at 16gauge in terms of thickness here in the UK? Solid core, etc etc.

Unused, from PMM in the US, expensive gucci parts. They don't ship outside the US, I've got a spare pair to sell. £45 shipped. Lowered as far as ll I'll go to £45! Added pics to show what they look like mounted. https://www.parkermountainmachine.com/product/pmm-scar-1617-hd-rail-elimination-panels/ (You'll need a US VPN to get on their site.) The two mount points on the left side screw in fine (VFC), the protruding hole may not line up with inner barrel asembly, but they aren't needed to be tightened down for a fit. (Style is actually Square (like the pics) not ergo, my bad)£45

Not really having fun to just inform someone of the facts, how they handle the information you give them is all on them, you're doing nothing wrong by doing that. Could the rule-abiding players not just say hey we're not playing with that/those guys because they keep breaking the rules? Has nobody gone and had an adult conversation with them over it? I know we're supposed to just tut and carry on but sometimes shit needs to be said.

Haha. I get told I look like so many people. Last one was Linus Sebastian.

Looking for a Magpul PTS (KWA) FPG FMG-9. Paying at least £250 for the gun alone as long as it works and is in good condition. More if there's extras. Lemme know if you have one, we'll talk. EDIT: Looks like there is probably a new one coming out in the next couple years at least, so unless I got a great deal on one I'll probably pass, but still will have a gander if you have one.£250

Only two of those are for the scar, side button for the torch and top for the dbal, 2 others for my Orion, the rest are spares. -

I got my WADSN Unity / hotbuttons: ### Need to swap the button behind the dbal back to a button with a RAMP, not enough room in front of the eotech to easily get my thumb in there. Like this: Only it'll be a tan button with a smaller connector. -
Nightmare trying to get all the titan wires + maxx tracer wires in the RA GB without the pinion chewing it up. Of course I went for the dremel:

£10 for the grip. £35 for both 500rd mags. (No issues.) £15 for the bits. (Includes MAXX Model parts) £50 for the VFC SCAR(From-H) Stock. Yes it has damage on the hinge but it was to remove the wireless stock connection points and be able to thread a battery wire through and remove the stock without having to re-solder it every time. I'm not sure any of it is actually visible when assembled (and stock not folded). £50 because I can't find them anywhere new so if you want it then you want it. If you find it cheaper somewhere lt me know and I'll beat the price. £25 for the rails. Stock VFC lower front rail, and 2 stock VFC plastic nylon rails from the side.£10

That's a pretty good idea. Also looks a lot slimmer and could easily fit inside, I'll have to hold a shell in the middle of the cage around where it would be and measure the distance between the top/sides for making struts / mount points that can be screwed into the cage, measure distance between where I'm thinking the lever/button would be: this is what i'm thinking, something like this. I'd have to remove the parts in there that hold the dummy shell etc, and I could dremel a shell into like, half, and then stick it inside the gap so it still has the faux shell visible. That or just remove it completely and use some metal sheet as a faux 'dust cover' (I think it has one when you cock it actually but I removed that early on in my first gun to make room for a bigger battery in there.
-
It looks roomy but it's deceptively roomy. When you put the shells together there's a ton of plastic that gets in the way which I need to remove. I'm going to practice with the parts I have now and cut away where the 3d-printed launcher can do, and figure out a way to mount it (would basically just be by a few screws into somewhere inside, doesn't have to be pretty. Honestly I looked at doing this 4 years ago when I first got it, I think about 3-5 people total have done it over on the aliens forums from what I remember, and they had to do a ton of work and use some out of print mini launchers that you can't get anymore. Best bet is to modify that shotshell launcher and make that bottom panel able to open downwards to lower the launcher for reloading. Just need some kind of metal latch I can attach to it + inside of the spas cage. Just tested without the panel and I can push shells in with a bit of force, I shouldn't need to enlarge the hole, the plastic will give way enough to pop one in. VID_20211202_091842.mp4 The launcher wouldn't be able to fit down outside of it for reloading, so it'd have to be mounted a bit forward and higher up, so when you drop the container down the shell slides out and can be reloaded. And I'm just going to get a cheap tube of perspex from ebay to use as the 'barrel' to ferry the shotshell BBs out of the gun. https://streamable.com/6qicg9

I'm looking at this: https://www.modelsport.co.uk/product/spektrum-2200mah-3s-11.1v-100c-smart-lipo-battery-ic3-443852 It won't fit in the buffer tube in my Orion, but the Hera stock has a lot of room so I'll just take it apart and dremel some of the crap inside out of the way. The specs / info on that battery look pretty good, but I'm sure there will be people saying just get x,y,z brands. (Which I'd love to hear from, if you can find me a battery that'll fit.) -
It must be the lighting, because that's ranger green with black. I stood my fish tank lid up against the wall so I had two big CFFL tubes pointed at me.
