I blame getting older and assuming everyone else did too but there's an endless summer of kids.

There seems to be a love it or hate it thing with it. I don't get why people seem to get so worked up over it though, I mean, at the end of the day it's nothing to do with you, why so passionate about what someone else enjoys?

Postman just brought me a modbutton w/RAMP (I only bought this one for the actual RAMP, because it was cheaper than buying the RAMP alone from the US and importing it.) However it has a silly huge jack on it, and being LH I would be using my RH thumb to hit it, so I need to swap the actual modbutton for one with a small angled connector.

I like it from the left side, but the right side has a very obvious split between red/black between the receiver and handguard, so I'm shipping it off tomorrow to get done red, It'll still have black bolts and attachments for colour balance. I got it to a stable 360fps with .20s, 330fps with .28s, and a solid RPS of 35 on full auto. I had no spring guide spacers so I had to use an old spring with the end cut off before the main spring on the guide, but I've got some now along with a couple other springs and will be tweaking it to work with them. I'm told it's shooting too hot in terms of joules to be legal though? My site only has the rule of 360fps for outdoor play with .20s when they chrono it, so that's what I was going for, but at that it's at like 1.42joules. What's the ARABS group?

New handguard setup: I kind of like it black.. debating on whether or not to even get it cerakoted red now.

I'm putting a Unity button on it; (and yeah it's backwards in the pic, it's not even screwed down I just laid it on for the picture) Because there's no rail there for the picatinny one I had previously. He quoted me £45 for the handguard/rails and 1x epm-1 mag. Nice.

How much does he charge? Dave's would do a handguard for £40 and a magazine for £5, but I got quoted £150 for that by another place. I've emailed about 15 places from the first couple pages of google and only two have gotten back to me so far. One of them doesn't do airsoft and the other doesn't have the colour. Any other suggestions?

Well northwest got back to me and quoted £150, where Dave's does handguard for £40, mags for £5, and I think they'll just toss the rail peices in with the handguard for me. I emailed about 7 different cerakote service sites from the first page of google and still waiting for any to get back to me.

I need a handguard, emp1 mag, and some rails done, but dave's who did the rest of my gun say they are not taking any more on right now because they're so busy, anyone know a good place to go to get it done quickly? Thanks, para

brrrrrrrrt brrrrrrrt I've got it to about 35 now. I'm hoping to get more, I forgot to swap the cylinder when I got a longer barrel, and I need to fix the tappet plate fin, tighten the spring on it, etc.

I'm getting that lower and 10" handguard for this: Semi: Just installed the lonex helical gears and put a DSG in. Auto: I would chrono it but it's 3:30am and don't wanna piss off neighbours. This morning with SHS 12:1 gears: So glad I got rid of that annoying whine. I'm putting those spiral gears in everything now.

Does this count as 'making something'? I looked for like a general development/DIY topic but this is the closest. Magnetized the grip rubber because it uses two very long screws which take forever to get out for swapping battery etc. Worked out better than expected. Gonna chop some bolt heads off and glue them to the back so it looks like they're in.
