  1. Honestly, return it if you've bought from a retailer.
  2. They're definitely not OG WA. They could be Iron Airsoft. They're the only WA spec mags that came with a polymer Pmag shell iirc.
  3. It seems forever ago that Hephaestus teased a GBB PP-19 Vityaz with no further evidence it would actually get released. Well has decided to pick up an alternative Russian SMG and is releasing a PPK-20 in AEG and GBBR which is pretty cool. I'm not too sure how Well will be able to pull off a GBB like this but maybe their Well "Pro" line is up to it. - ambi safety - 40 rd mags - claims to be MWS gas system Also some more mad minguns including a Nemesis style one, AK-12 AEG https://youtu.be/-phQTg5f7QA?si=sAxqKhEJe32KLos7
  4. I couldn't see any Just Cos on Companies House... Surely they should be registered? Seems a bit suspect. Complete lack of info on their site.
  5. I've used a Madbull adapter for Rothenburger bottles. I didn't even know you could get the adapters in 7/16.
  6. I did a couple of weekday night games last week. Thursday evening at South Coast CQB and then Friday evening at Ironsight. First time back at SCCQB for a couple of years. Cool site for sure. A shame about a few people kicking off with accusations of overshooting. It seemed that some people hadn't fully grasped that at a night game, it is more important than skirmishing in daylight that you make clear you've been hit with a loud "hit" and putting your arm up. I saw multiple instances of people doing neither and then having a little hissy fit. I don't know about everyone else, but I shoot at someone until they make it clear they're hit... Also, shout out to the absolute madlad (and lady) rentals on our team that decided their first airsoft experience would be a night game. Legends. They seemed to have fun and enjoy the evening. Ironsight. Again, a cool site. The rain just about held off until right at the end which was nice. Excellent hit taking and all round play. I got some very satisfying kills. I'm pretty sure I shot someone in the face on the top level of the bus so sorry if that was you and you're reading this ha.
  7. lol. It's been a while since we had one of these threads.

Well yes, so did I but there's this thing called the VCRA now...

In subsection (7) “modern firearm” means any firearm other than one the appearance of which would tend to identify it as having a design and mechanism of a sort first dating from before the year 1870.

      https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2006/38/section/38

It's a rather peculiar date, and may actually be intended to cover cartridge revolvers - the Colt Single Action Army was developed around 1869 and trialled in 1872. So that cap gun might very well be a "modern firearm" by that definition.

The real answer is that they're "getting away with it" because nobody really cares.  We know that there are airsoft sellers flogging unambiguous RIFs without real defences, and what would the defence be for this paintball "marker"?

      https://www.bzpaintball.co.uk/tippmann-stormer-elite

Or for that matter, this gel "blaster"?

      https://gelweapons.co.uk/collections/slr-gel-blasters/products/slr-gel-blaster-brown?variant=47816758591823

You might argue that those aren't non-firearm airsoft RIFs, but instead some super-secret sub-category of airgun firearm that isn't really an airgun firearm, nor a RIF.  I've seen claims that paintballs guns aren't considered as airgun firearms because the ammunition is (or rather can be) frangible, but I can't recall being pointed at any specific legislation or case law.

It's all a bit silly really isn't it, is my main point I guess.  Newcomers to airsoft pissing about with two tones and then we get stuff like this.

  8. I do frequently run around the woods with several thousand £ worth of gear. Protectors are disposable. I'd rather bin 8 uncoated protectors than 1 £250 protector...
  9. What on Earth are you doing with your thermal if it has the opportunity to get so fucked up lol
  10. About £30 from AliExpress
  11. Not really. You can get them fairly cheap from China.
  12. Get a germanium lens protector.
  13. Perhaps an enquiry with trading standards is in order?
  14. Yeah. You would think there would be the classic tabloid photos with the mother and child showing off the "water pistol" unless the truth isn't quite what is being presented here.
  15. Looks like a WE Makarov PMM mag to me.
  16. That's good to know about their CS. You weren't at the Ascension Research event last weekend were you as someone was talking about their Blocs breaking in the same place. I'm just wondering how widespread of an issue that is. But if they sort it should it occur, that's nice to know.
  17. Ah. Goatse or Tubgirl then?
  18. Ascension Research do .32 tracers.
  19. I saw them a few weeks ago at the usual HK shops. They're cool, but let's face it, I doubt anyone outside Korea is going to want to drop $1500 on such a niche rifle.
  20. Ah. I see. When you release the slide with barrel and recoil assembly fitted, it returns to battery fine? Just that the rearward travel is blocked?
  21. When you say the slide is hitting something, at what point in the travel?
  22. Agreed. They'd rake it in doing a GBB 416 then maybe a couple of years later, a GBB MCX.
  23. I thought there might have been something interesting for an "emergency" reveal but no, ?
  24. Regular AEG, TM recoil, TM/VFC/WA/WE/KWA GBBR? A little more specificity would help.
