  1. I bought this Galaxy MP5K new quite a few years ago with the intention of building it into a little lightweight, loaner gun but never got around to it and now it's surplus to requirements. Good points - Sat in it's box. Never shot. - Boxed with hi cap mag, manual, shitty charger and battery (I can dispose of if not wanted. Can I even send the battery in the post?). Will include the cleaning rod if I can find it. - Can include a folding stock but not compatible with the current end plate. Could be modified I think or just the right plate fitted on. Bad points - Time has taken it's toll on the pot metal. Heavy tarnishing to the front sight block. Mag catch paddle weakened so that really needs replacing but the push button mag release works fine. The head of one of the body pins sheared off today when I pushed it in. Not going to go anywhere but still. - The receiver end plate is split in two. Partially caused by over time it slightly warping and also from me trying to screw it onto the folding stock. When I tightened it down, it became apparent it was warped and the stock face was flat. If you're wondering why I was trying to attach it to the stock, the moron shop I bought the stock from had the wrong photos of it in the listing so I thought it would be compatible. It turned out it was a different spec. I thought I would be smart and just swap the plates. No such luck. It can be used with half the end plate on. It is secure with one pin. - There is a small crack to the back of the plastic of the receiver near the lower receiver pin hole but not actually compromising the hole. So yeah, it really needs a new mag release paddle and receiver end plate. Which can be bought for £20 + postage. What should I be looking at for a price? £60 posted with the stock? @RogerborgI know you're a fan of these.
  2. Make sure you get one with the updated trigger. It makes a massive difference I'm told. Around a 6lb repeatable break. Then run it on CO2 mags and you should be good.
  3. I'm not really into woodland sites but I did a private training thing there a while back and it seemed a decent site for skirmishing.
  4. I haven't seen much of interest yet but a Stechkin APS with stock from VFC. GBB assumed.
  5. Something to consider is some sites have a blanket ban on CO2.

New and never used. This is from the recent Forgotten Weapons replica group order of the famous magazine vest from the film Heat. Basically, it seems there were some misunderstandings/mix ups with the factory in China in terms of sizing from what the group was expecting and promised. In addition to general quality issues. So, the first issue, sizing. This is "medium/large" (the smallest size that was available and it's quite big in it's smallest setting. It is adjustable on the shoulder for length and at the back with elastic. See photos for dimensions. Second issue, general meh quality. The elastic magazine retainers are rubbish and will require modifications which I think should be fairly straightforward or complete removal and replacement with better quality and placed elastic. This is especially notable on the shoulder magazine elastic. Don't even think about trying to use GBBR mags in it's current state… So yeah, it has it's issues but potentially OK as a base to modify if you actually want to use it (please don't rob any banks with it though) Also, mag obviously not included. £50 posted.

  7. Yup. Airsoft Dynamics exited the scene rather badly. Still, I wasted lots of time looking at their site during lunch on my school's computers. Back when you could look at any gun stuff on the school network without it being blocked. I remember seeing the photos to pre order the TM G36C and thinking it looked impossibly cool.
  8. Maybe I've been lucky but I've been into airsoft since around 2001 and just started doing milsims in 2021/2022 but I've found everyone to be pretty chill for the most part. I was put off milsims for quite a while as it seemed a little...try hard I guess but they're a lot of fun. Maybe it's because I always play opfor (opfor, best for), but everyone seems really nice and happy to chat shit about gear or whatever. At the end of the day, we're adults playing with toys in the woods. If you take it too seriously, you're doing it wrong. Take note TF. If we're 10 mins into a weekend and someone from opfor walks up to you with no gun or whatever, hold off on the "STAY BACK" BS. Be cool FFS.
  9. That seems to have an impressively clear lens for a clone Eotech.
  10. Yeah. Good point. That will at least deaden the rattle considerably I would hope. And I just so happen to have a roll of adhesive Velcro.
  11. I have a GK Tactical 63DO holster which I believe is a rebranded TMC. I was wondering if the TMC also doesn't have the best fit and if so, is there a recommended fix to reduce or fix the amount of wobble which causes a rattle? The locking system works just fine and I'm using it with a TM G17 X300 but there is quite a bit of play which is annoying. Any thoughts other than buy a real Safariland?
  12. I'd contact Samoon. I'd hope they would send you a new nozzle. Maybe a mag too if it's faulty.
  13. I've used them before. They were fine. You might find the website switches to secure mode at checkout perhaps. My last order with them was 2011 though fwiw.
  14. If the incident you're referring to is what I think it is, you could just try not trying to pick up pyro and attempting to throw it back lol
  15. http://www.apocalypse249.com/ might be worth a look too.
  16. EOTech PVS24. Clip on NV. Looks like a stock image of the real one imo.
  17. I think a support weapon with an internal tank is never really going to take off (sorry GHK RPK). Sure, the RPK is cool and all but it's kind of a weird middle ground where you can't really do proper suppressing like you could do with a belt fed. A support weapon really needs to have remote line for air/CO2 to be viable imo.

  19. Don't VFC offer different power nozzles? Low, 1J, high etc?
  20. There's the Holman Test Mine site in Troon, Cornwall but that's a couple of hours from you and I'm not even sure if they're running at the moment.
  21. I believe Ammo Drop were the onsite shop at the Gangsta City event back in early October.
