The 'What have you just bought' Thread

It's just a general ambi access pocket really. I've kept gloves, nitrile gloves and other low bulk things in them. -
I've used loads of 6mm Ammo BBs over the past few years. Decently quality and no issues in mid caps or GBBs. Though I haven't tried any since they moved to only bio BBs. Always speedy order processing and postage too.

Optic Height - Where does your preference sit?
hitmanNo2 replied to alxndrhll's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Ha. This is me too. It took me while to work out why every red dot after red dot I got was meh. -
You don't like the quality or the look or the glass or what? You want a different style? If you're happy to stick with the T1 style, the Vector Optics Mavericks are decent. Or go with the smaller Vector Optics Frenzy line.

Do you understand what GHK is offering here? A revolutionary design (even if it's in the shape of a Glock) with a steel slide and barrel. It's incomparable to any WE pistol tbh.

How are you dealing with not being able to order from the EU anymore?
hitmanNo2 replied to paradoxum's topic in Places to Buy
To be fair, if UK customers only represent a small percentage of sales, I don't think I would bother with dealing with it if I was an EU retailer. More paperwork, more registrations, more likely more fees, trying to communicate with HMRC etc. Aliexpress on the other hand. Huuuuuge company so it's easy to implement it. Good video from Louis Rossmann covering it here -

You just know we'll still get some bellend posting stock photos despite the clarification. -
I gather the rear strengthening protrusion can be removed as there is a buffer tube adapter that takes GBBR M4 buffer tubes out there which claims to be reversible should you want to go back to the TM stock.

There are clones of the Unity Tactical articulated riser for magnifiers out now if you can't source the RS. -

Dude. Do you work at Dave's Custom Airsoft or something? This isn't a thread for stock images as you've previously been told. -

It shows as £255 for me. -
I believe if you can prove it's for airsoft, UKARA etc, EG will sell direct.
-
Have you tried EG direct?

Just because something has been removed from it's packaging, it doesn't magically lose 30% of it's value. Sure, it may not be brand new and sealed but who really cares if something has been opened and test fitted and then put back in the packaging. As long as someone hasn't fucked it up with scratches and stuff from the fitting, so what? Is it any different from a retailer, in this case Airsoft Global stating this? "Whenever we test any guns, scratch can't be avoided. Therefore, we are hoping that you may consider carefully before you purchase it! But we can guarantee that all items are brand new." If someone has gone to the trouble of going through the waiting time of importing something, paying customs fees etc, I see no reason why you wouldn't pay a bit less than the "brand new" price to save that time and end with something in the same state as it will be when you open the packet. The whole paying full price for customer support and warranty is also kind of overrated. Sure, for some stuff you absolutely want that in case it's properly borked but I'd guess lots of things can easily be sorted for lower that the cost of return postage to a retailer. You just have to evaluate the risk on an item by item basis. You're pretty safe with accessories and similar, especially ones that don't involve any electronics. I think at the end of the day, just be honest and make sure stuff is described accurately. Now if people are trying to pass stuff like a RIF off as "only skirmished once, as new", and trying to get retail price, now that's a no no.

Do you need IR illuminator built in? Somogear PEQ-15/UHP with IR illuminator should be released by the end of the month. Or their NGAL with IR illuminator and laser is available now. Otherwise their regular, cheaper NGAL, PEQ-15s and CQBL-1 are available right now.

Well, there's at least a couple of members on here that have had visits from the police after buying legal parts from the US so it's certainly possible.

Help Me Build a Disposable One-use Automatic Uzi
hitmanNo2 replied to Airsoft_87's topic in General Help
I don't think you've considered a fictional, mass produced, single use firearm doesn't transfer well to a one off, bespoke, disposable airsoft gun. How do you envisage testing it? Or will that be your one and done single use? "Oh, it didn't work. What a waste of 10 hours. In the bin in goes". -

hitmanNo2 replied to Airsoft_87's topic in General Help
Why does a movie prop need to fire BBs? If you want something impossible to disassemble, that you need a bunch of and are cheap, sounds like you need some rubber prop guns and some editing skills to make it look like it's shooting. -
What's that V8 sitting in?
