  1. The only thing mine came with was a metal kill flash and the flip up scope covers. The mount was a £20 job from Amazon. The other thing I forgot to mention is that adjusting the zoom can be a pain so a throw lever is a good idea. Again you can get them cheap from ebay.
  2. I have the Visionking on one of my rifles. It's good, nice clear glass and a good reticle that and be illuminated either red or blue. I am very happy with it. I can't comment on any of the other optics your have mentioned.
  3. You could send it back to the shop for refund/repair
  4. Out of curiosity, what is the range of the MP7. It's not like I am going to buy one, but just in case I decided I needed just one more RIF.
  5. On top of that, pure propane stinks whilst green gas has no decernable odour
  6. Nice one. Never thought of using one of these. Used to have something similar for an old fishing rods I had. As for the barre kit, its the same old story. Other people had better ideas in what I should be spending my money on. Still, I might pick one up at some point.
  7. McSpoons, I noticed on some of your pics, you have some sort of easy adjustment arm on your visioning. What you using and where did you get it from? I'm after one for mine as its a pian to adjust the zoom on the fly with taking my eye off scope as its really tight.
  8. You should only own an Aeg as a back up to your gbb. Gbbs are the best fun, so much more emersive than an aeg. Sure they cost (alot) more to get going but it's worth it. Once you have spurged out on the gun, you will then need gas and decent heavy bbs which will add to your running costs. But again, it's worth it. You get proper feed back when you fire your weapon and stoppages that you might need to clear like to might with a real rifle. It's so much more fun than hearing a little motor cranking a piston back. Again, you will have to strip them and clean them just like a real rifle and this is all part of the fantastic experience of owning one. Yeh you will be out gunned by someone with a 1500 bb box mag on full auto, but those guys are just sad losers, your 30 bbs are worth a million of his spam fired plastic. As for guns, I have the we G39c, kwa mp9 and the vfc 416a5. They are all good guns. Reasonably accurate and decent ranges The G39 is a cheap reliable weapon but mine shoots ridiculously hot in the summer (over 400fps) so you need an npas and different power gasses to run it all year. The mags are also really chunky so I had to buy over sized G36 mag pouches. The mp9 is great for cqb but can again run hot with the standard bolt that comes with it. I swapped mine for the separate cqb bolt you can buy to keep it under 350fps The 416a5 is a work of art. Built in npas and a stupidly easy hop adjuster. If you are unsure, if you see someone using a gbb next time you play, ask very nicely for a go. I like to let people have shoot of mine and everyone who does are surprised at the difference and mumbles something about selling a kidney.
  9. Have you tried 0.28s in it? I have the A4 version of the G&G that you have and it holds it's own in a woodland game using the slightly heavier bb.
  10. Let me know about the hop rubber, im pefectly happy with how my gun is shooting sp will keep it stock for now
  11. I finally got round to fixing my leaking mag with the gaskets I bought and voila, no more leaking mag. I got a night game coming up next week so an extra mag means less mucking around in the dark.
  12. It cost me $15 USD, the postage was $6.89 but it was litterally two bits of very light rubber.
  13. I cant remember off the top of my head, but it did look nice. That was in a random hobbby shop in Osaka, they had a very long wall full of guns and racks and racks of upgrade parts. The exchange rate is very good at the moment and you could pick a bargin, especially if you get it tax free. I got a load of good quality fishing gear and saved myself a few quid.
  14. Just got back from Japan and you were right, it's was over 30C every day, phew. As for airsoft, I didn't buy anything because I couldn't be bothered with the messing about if bringing a rid home. However, there were loads of shops and airsoft cafes to visit.
  15. I go them from https://kicbbgun.com.tw/en/index.php They have loads of VFC parts so if you need something, they might have it.
  16. Some rubber gaskets for my leaking mag. Hope this will finally solve it.
  17. My missus watches SWAT (it's awful). I think they use VFC airsoft guns as they all look very realistic. Although they are pretty good at disguising the weapons as reals ones, you can tell they are not shooting blank firers during the actions scenes.
  18. By the time this comes out, I might have the money saved up yo buy one.
  19. I am off to Japan in a few weeks and will have a few days in Osaka. I am planning on buying a load of swanky fishing gear when I am over there, as they love fishing over there. However, my hotel in Osaka looks to be a 10 min walk from Gurkha and a few other shops so I will take a look when there. I doubt I will be buying any rifs, but I might try and pick up something Japanesey to show off when I get back home.
  20. I have a CM040 and can confirm that it is a solid gun that you can use straight out of the box. I run mine on 7.4v lipos and it is reasonably snappy. I use mid cap mags which you can find dirt cheap at various airsoft dealers.
  21. Thought I would treat myself to a new optic for the HK 416a5
  22. Yeh, the G36 runs crazy hot and is a difficult beast to tame. I use an ra-tech NPAS and nuprol 1.0 gas (in a white can) to get mine under 350fps. Even then, when its very warm, it can still shoot over 350fps. However, when you can get it running it's a great gun to play with.
  23. Played on Sunday just gone. I had six mags on me, all leak free. That is until I topped one mag up, then I could hear it starting to leak! Still I had a great day and was just about able to compete with the AEG guys with my five working mags. I decided for the final game to give my CYMA AK47 AEG a run out as we usually finish off with a very quick capture the village style game. My AK is a good gun but it really felt like a toy compared to the 416 as the lack of recoil really stood out after a day on the GBB.
