  1. Ive been running .3g bbs in mine with no issues, I get decent range and accuracy with them. I have just been using bog standard nuprol green gas in mine and have the npas set at around 320fps with .2g bbs. I've not used mine in the winter yet so it will be interesting to see how well it runs with green gas. I might try red/black gas if its started to struggle. I normally give every thing a good clean every few game days and use lithium grease on the bolt. I always have a quick look at any screws or nuts to see if they need tightening as the recoil of the rifle is pretty firm.
  2. I don't wanna take my mags apart again to have a look as they are all working perfectly at the moment. All your pics seem fine and everything is where it should be. However, and it's hard to tell, but the top of the gasket here doesn't look right. Is it fitting snuggly? When I was having my leaks its was to do with the gasket being very slightly deformed. The leaks I experienced went from a very slight leak to a major pissing of gas as the more I fiddled with the mag, the more I was making the gasket worse. Once I got my new gakests, I smeared all the rubber parts with silicon grease like this - https://www.godive.net/products/silicone-grease/ - and it worked perfectly. Are getting you leaks from the mags from the same place where I bought my leaking mags.
  3. Got this little beauty in the post this morning. A VFC G19x to replace my aging WE G17. It well made and feels much nicer than my WE one.. Hoping to try it out over the next few weeks.
  4. I would take a hit if someone shot me with a Nerf gun. In fact, I would shake their hand.
  5. Where I play, there a bang rule but you still have to be pointing a loaded rif at someone. If they don't take their hit you can then shoot them. If someone shot at me with a blank firer, I might shit my keks but I wouldn't be taking a hit.
  6. What's the point of a blank firer at a game? No bb's are coming out of it so you can't hit anyone with it.
  7. I have just stripped mine down and cant see anything that resembles the retangular peice you have found. And there is nothing in that diagramme that resembles that bit either The only pin from under the hand guard I can see it the one that holds the mock gas block in place. This website seems to stock every bit you need for you rifle. https://www.kyairsoft.com/parts/we-rifles-gbbr/999-series.html
  8. Those are some whacky numbers there. Sometimes, with Gbbr's it not about the consistancy, it's the experience. Post a pic of the pin, some airsoft super tech might be able to ID it for you. Although you may find out when one of your pews falls to bits mid game
  9. What FPS are you getting from it? On a hot day my WE one can shoot well over 400fps and it needs a NPAS and weaker gas to get it close to be usuable.
  10. As far as I know, its a clone of the WE G36 so should be compatable with any WE spares. RA Tech do a load of parts for the G36 but I would just leave it stock until it breaks. However, I have a few RA Tech parts in my WE G36. I don't know if the AA version has a plastic charging handle, if so, I would recommend getting a metal one as this will 100% break on you.
  11. I got one of these for mine: https://www.amazon.co.uk/WestHunter-Optics-Switchview-Magnification-Adjustment/dp/B08QRJ574Z/ref=sr_1_5?crid=PPJAL4ICD8YJ&keywords=throw%2Blever&qid=1692652967&sprefix=throw%2Blever%2Caps%2C89&sr=8-5&th=1 I got the 46mm version which was bit too large so I had to shim it with some tape. The 44mm version should fit. Make sure you get the version with the notch as otherwise it wont fit.
  12. Yeh, the Sig looks like a sexy bit of kit. I keep saying that I don't need another gun, but if I do, it will be a Gbbr. Just not sure what I would get at the moment. I am deffo gonna get a new pistol, but pistols don't count. I am now watching videos of the VFC MP5k PDW.
  13. The only thing mine came with was a metal kill flash and the flip up scope covers. The mount was a £20 job from Amazon. The other thing I forgot to mention is that adjusting the zoom can be a pain so a throw lever is a good idea. Again you can get them cheap from ebay.
  14. I have the Visionking on one of my rifles. It's good, nice clear glass and a good reticle that and be illuminated either red or blue. I am very happy with it. I can't comment on any of the other optics your have mentioned.
  15. You could send it back to the shop for refund/repair
  16. Out of curiosity, what is the range of the MP7. It's not like I am going to buy one, but just in case I decided I needed just one more RIF.
  17. On top of that, pure propane stinks whilst green gas has no decernable odour
  18. Nice one. Never thought of using one of these. Used to have something similar for an old fishing rods I had. As for the barre kit, its the same old story. Other people had better ideas in what I should be spending my money on. Still, I might pick one up at some point.
  19. McSpoons, I noticed on some of your pics, you have some sort of easy adjustment arm on your visioning. What you using and where did you get it from? I'm after one for mine as its a pian to adjust the zoom on the fly with taking my eye off scope as its really tight.
  20. You should only own an Aeg as a back up to your gbb. Gbbs are the best fun, so much more emersive than an aeg. Sure they cost (alot) more to get going but it's worth it. Once you have spurged out on the gun, you will then need gas and decent heavy bbs which will add to your running costs. But again, it's worth it. You get proper feed back when you fire your weapon and stoppages that you might need to clear like to might with a real rifle. It's so much more fun than hearing a little motor cranking a piston back. Again, you will have to strip them and clean them just like a real rifle and this is all part of the fantastic experience of owning one. Yeh you will be out gunned by someone with a 1500 bb box mag on full auto, but those guys are just sad losers, your 30 bbs are worth a million of his spam fired plastic. As for guns, I have the we G39c, kwa mp9 and the vfc 416a5. They are all good guns. Reasonably accurate and decent ranges The G39 is a cheap reliable weapon but mine shoots ridiculously hot in the summer (over 400fps) so you need an npas and different power gasses to run it all year. The mags are also really chunky so I had to buy over sized G36 mag pouches. The mp9 is great for cqb but can again run hot with the standard bolt that comes with it. I swapped mine for the separate cqb bolt you can buy to keep it under 350fps The 416a5 is a work of art. Built in npas and a stupidly easy hop adjuster. If you are unsure, if you see someone using a gbb next time you play, ask very nicely for a go. I like to let people have shoot of mine and everyone who does are surprised at the difference and mumbles something about selling a kidney.
  21. Have you tried 0.28s in it? I have the A4 version of the G&G that you have and it holds it's own in a woodland game using the slightly heavier bb.
  22. Let me know about the hop rubber, im pefectly happy with how my gun is shooting sp will keep it stock for now
  23. I finally got round to fixing my leaking mag with the gaskets I bought and voila, no more leaking mag. I got a night game coming up next week so an extra mag means less mucking around in the dark.
  24. It cost me $15 USD, the postage was $6.89 but it was litterally two bits of very light rubber.
