Just an update on the new mags being a tight squeeze. I found that if the top two screws that attach the plastic top to the mag body are too tight, it will deform the plastic part a little and will result in the mag needing to be forced into the mag well.

There is this guy with the TNT hop unit and barrel hitting 50m targets with no problem. He is using 0.4g bbs and a higher fps than we can have over here, but it seems to be the real deal. I will have a go with heavier bbs first to see how I get on. I have already spent a small fortune on the gun and mags so I don't wanty to keep spending money on it, although I probably will anyway.

They are very simple to take apart. Just need a few allen keys and screwdrivers. Took me about ten mins to oils each mag. Mine are still holding gas from when I did it yesterday.

I am running mine stock at the moment. I only had Geoffs 0.3g and 0.32g bbs when I played last and it seemed to be decent with them. I have since picked up some Geoffs 0.36g and 0.40g and will give these a run out over the weekend. So far I am happy with the performance but will see if the heavier bbs are any better before messing with any upgrades. It's weird that the mags I got from Patrol Base slide in with no effort and will fall out under gravity, where as these magss need to forced or pulled. They all work as they should. Rather than doing the sensible thing and sending them back, I decided to take mine apart and probably voiding any warranty in case the mags were truely fucked. I just gave all the rubber bits a liberal coating of silicon oild before re-assembling the mag. Id steer clear of a sealant as it might gum the mag up and make it unusable. I would be very interested in what LandWarrior say if you manage to get hold of them. Keep me updated.

Funny you should say that. I got two mags from the very same company today. Oddly, both mags seem to be a little bit more snug in my mag well and I have to force them in, in order to lock them into place. I have to pull them out when I press the mag release as they don't fall out like my other four mags. Are yours the same? Also, they were both leaking. I stripped the both down, re-lubed (using ptfe oil) all the rubber o-rings and the large gasket and ensured that all the screws were tight. They now seem to be holding gas as they should. Mine were leaking out of the large gasket that separate the main body of the mag and the valve unit. I followed this vid as a guide

I am running four mags with my VFC 416a5 and it's just about enough in a skirmish but I still might need to hide behind a bush to reload my mags in game. I need another two to let me be a bit more trigger happy. But, the old rule of airsoft is that when you have the money and really really want something, it's out of stock everywhere.

It was a cheapo one I got for £80, it does the job though. Shame the real ones cost insanity money.

I have just got mine today. A gen 3 model. It's a beauty. Rock solid build, no wobble and all the trades. It makes some of my aegs feel like toys. The recoil is amazing and much stronger than my we g39. I have a load of different weight bbs so will spend a bit of time of dailing it in before I take to it's first game in a few weeks.

The nice man from UPS has just dropped this little beauty off. The VFC 416 a5 gbb. It's lovely!

Here is my good old WE G39c. Done a few mods on its including and NPAS, steel charging handle, maple leaf bucking and a tight bore barrel. Shoots like a laser but can be difficult to get under 350fps on a warm day.

I assume that once you have one of these, the only thing you will see is aliens coming out of the walls

Keep you mags warm by sticking hand a warmer in you mag pouch. You can get a box of them from amazon.

I also have a CYMA CM.040 and can say that it is a great gun out of the box. I have not needed to do anything with mine other than feed it quality bbs.

Yeh, has grown on me over the years, hence me eventually getting on. It feels comfortable to use and it does have a 3 round burst mode which is fun.

Picked up one of these bad boys. A Cybergun Famas F1 Evo. Not had a chance to play with it yet, but so far it seems to be pretty good. It haa a basic mosfet and you can adjust the FPS with the supplied Allen key without having to open up the gun. I have managed to get shooting between 330 and 365 fps which is great.

Sound, the Fal looks good, although the plastic on it looks very plasticiky

AATV have stopped doing vids, which is a shame as they did some good stuff

I bought a Maple Leaf 50 degree Macaron and an Omega nub a while ago and had them sitting in the box of bits. Just put in my JG RPK for a game tomorrow and it's now shooting like one of those weapons that Putin doesn't want Ukraine to have. I have promptly ordered some more.

Got this little (it's massive) beauty. A JG RPK. So far it seems good. Well made with electric blow back, shooting around 320fps with 0.2g bbs and a snappy rate of fire on a 7.2v lipo. Hoping to give it a gun run out at the weekend.
