    Seems that I'm having to stretch out my pistons O-Ring every 3 months as the FPS drops from 330 down to 250 -_-

      It's got the original O-Ring that came with the SHS Piston Head.. What brands would be good, if any?

Just a good, correctly sized Viton one should be fine. Worth also thinking about why it's stretching - is your lube degrading the rubber for example?

      It's shrinking every 3 months so I end up having to stretch it out - I put the o-ring around the outside of an old cylinder and heat it up with a lighter. I'll grab another o-ring and see if that sorts it

    My VFC has been chronoing at 150fps for a few weeks now and finally got around to open it up again (sadly wasn't able to before the NAE). Stretched the piston head's O-Ring, re-lubed the cylinder and voila back to 330fps!

    Of course, at chrono today Gun1 was firing at only 150fps. Gun2's motor then borked before lunch. Gun3 is an AM-016 with DSG set up for pre-cocking. Of course, battery was too powerful when fully charged which made it not shoot, then double shoot on semi. FINALLY, now I'm home, Gun1 is at 300fps again, Gun2's motor has been cleaned and lubed, and Gun3 is FIRING PERFECTLY. What is this madness?

    Well, no new toys for me for a while. Just been stiffed by a cyclist on the road, he caused £500 worth of damages (parts alone) to my motorcycle, plus won't be able to work for a while due to injuries in knee. Yay. /s

    X3200 chrono (new for £33!) as it seems buying a few beers every time I borrow my mate's is adding up to more than a chrono itself!

    I do indeed load a magazine whilst the slide is forward, the parts should arrive on Friday so I'll fix it and try loading it your way from now on. Cheers for the advice.

    I've owned my F226 for two years or so now, this is the second time the loading nozzle has broken. Is this normal for the same part to fail twice within two years? I know it's only £8 or so to replace it's just a slight annoyance. Picture of said loading nozzle. (The little plastic tab to the lower left of the image is the bit that has broken off both times) Cheers

    Nothing special, but just got a Ssangyong Musso for going to airsoft sites (among other things) to give the Moggy a break.

    SS'd by 3 teeth, delayer chip, new tappet plate, M120 spring. It's firing very well now, getting 23 RPS with 7.4 and no double feeding. Cheers for the help.

    Cheers, the box is apart and I've already done the SSing earlier today. I've used blue Loctite on the piston head thread (which is indeed metal). Sorbo has been ordered, M120 spring on the way. Will have a play around getting the FPS consistent, ensuring the hop up is sitting flush etc. Cheers for the help so far, should post back here by the end of next week when the stuff has arrived and I've had a little play.
