The Gaol has a varient of the surrender kill. Basically if your close to someone, say 3 metres, and shout surrender its up to them to take it or try to shoot you. Basically, its a courtesy they may refuse so be prepared to shoot or be shot. Within a metre the rule on surrender is compulsory. There are a lot of close quarters encounters there and pitch black areas. So basically if your gun is up, aimed at someone point blank, you are to surrender. So really only used if there is no chance of you not winning the engagement if the trigger gets pulled. I have never seen anyone there offer surrender besides when they are close enough to poke someone with their gnu barrel. Prevents american style running round corners and into rooms screaming 'bang bang' like some rambo/neo hybrid who thinks they are invincible. In my opinion that sort of behaviour removes any skill in the game.

The 'What have you just bought' Thread
kasaran replied to Cameron364's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
The issue with lazers I feel is that its easy to say you wont aim at the face. But when someone peeks a corner at you, and the only thing you can shoot at is their face, what do you do? not shoot? Because everyone, me included would instinctively fire off a few rounds at said peaking individual. With a lazer on... Well, then you have just risked giving them eye damage, all be it unintentionally. Happened to me at a Gaol night game with a guy running a green lazer, didnt get me in the eye, but was all over my face when I peeked the corner. In gameplay there are ample situations from lack of alternative targets to random muzzle sweeps that can make the best intentioned player inadvertantly lazer an iris. Quietly I have always been suprised when I have found sites that allow lazers. But I also know of many that dont. -

As I face the prospect of weeks of 'import scan' every 3 days while it sits in London, I'd suggest avoiding looking at their twitter or other social media accounts. It doesn't paint a good picture, its somewhat demoralising. I'm just going to watch my Paypal charge back timer, just in case (180 days I think?). If people start pulling the money back from retailers due to UPS's incompetance then surely thats going to have an effect as to who they choose to deliver for them? Also, I paid UPS's imports on Paypal, so I'll claim that too, that might make them squirm a little too. -

So rang again as my tracking stilll claims yesterday. guy on the phone is saying it should be on its way to the local depot (northampton by tomorrow). but if nothing happens after 3 days, then i can initiate a 'lost package' investigation or some crap. So my earlier smooth sailing on the order is starting to feel tenuous -

Caved and rang them. One guy read out fridays status saying more documents required and put ne on hold to make enquiries. Then a woman i could barely hear picked up. Stated its cleared customs but still in london. Though is adamant that its coming by end of day today. Time will tell -

currently mine is down as this. I would not hold my breath on delivery until it is in the Northampton depot, which is where everything ups has ever delivered me gets dispatched from. though im hoping being down to having cleared customs as being a good sign at least? With Ukara expiring on the 27th, im assuming that hurdle has now at least been passed? *touch wood* hoping i can get my mp5 and mp443 soon (and for defcon airsoft to actually send me that m14, its been a week since ordering from them, got no delivery notification or anything, its just down as completed on their website) -

found their website not really operable? i mean, the airsoft page it sends to gets a security warning and then sends you to a hosting page? unless there are many norfolk based sites called combat? -
