  1. i tend to run first come first served. convo goes dead for more than 24h it goes to the next guy in the list.
  2. could you not just adjust the colour balance on the monitor?
  3. it does look very handy to carry around. just need a deer stalker, and a pipe now
  4. you know i think this might just atone for your previous m4 stock related sins. that stock really does the world of difference.
  5. it's not strength you need, it's additional hands to hold down those extra sproingy things that some lunatic thought an airsoft gearbox was sorely in need of.
  6. the wind isn't so much the problem- you can deal with the wind. it's when you've put all the time, effort, money, skill, learned to tech, learned to shoot, learned to sneak and lined everything up to get that perfect angle. the expensive .48g geoffs bb sails through the air it's backspin perfectly canted to counter the crosswind and strikes the target. a perfect and beautiful shot. only for the target to shrug and continue playing anyway.....
  7. the answer is in the statement- if you care about that last 5% in this case i agree that the ZCI is the more sensible option, as that 5% isn't going to be noticeable without the rest of the pew's internals also being brought up to that level, with all the cost, effort and skill requirements that entails. it's the diminishing returns curve in action.
  8. this will depend on many factors. a lot of good parts are sold by @ak2m4 at least for the more universal aeg internals, however depending on your gun, and the aims of your build you're almost always gonna need to look at multiple stores to get everything you want/need. if you tell us what gun you want to mess with, and what you want to improve about it (and how far you wanna go down the diminishing returns curve) then we can be a bit more specific with recommendations.
  9. Hmm, maybe not. Tbh i'm not all that good with the gbb stuff, i just know they tend to be very finely balanced so generally the best option is not to mess with anything you dont have to.
  10. I'm not. Which along with back emf is another reason i'm banned from the electrical labs at work
  11. discs are probably spacing, holding it slightly closed compared to standard, at least if it's working anything like the adjustable npas. dropping back to stock would be my go-to given you're regulating the fps externally now.
  12. generally isn't a problem, as mentioned the purpose is to improve seal around the rubber. unless your hop unit is particularly tight it won't be a problem, although the only hop unit i've met that did that was the madbull rotary unit and that was so damn tight it didn't matter what rubber you were using (giggedy)
  13. sounds about right. it's fine, just sit back and enjoy the salt build up as their rounds drop short.
  14. Yeah, it'll look like a target rifle, which tbf is a very appropriate look for the platform. Extra points if you go full elmer fudd when fielding it
  15. Is it bad that i'm surprised? That does look pretty sweet, a good choice
  16. Worth checking the ratings. Even a good brand like bolle can crack if the particular model isnt rated for airsoft energies. Iirc the raiders are stanag 2920 which from memory is well in excess of "you have got to be joking" joule levels.
  17. a fair point, some of the repro lpvo's are surprisingly good in terms of clarity, although can't speak to their efficacy on a gbbr. fair enough, was mostly a heads up because changing inner barrel length on a gbbr can catch folk unawares (mostly with pistols admittedly) tis a very personal thing, as mentioned my experience was i rarely needed stability that couldn't be achieved by monopoding on the mag.
  18. are you extending the inner barrel? because on a gbbr that's gonna have quite the effect on your energy output (it'll raise it going longer) which might not be helpful depending on your site limits. bipod is a tricky one, i've occasionally taken the notion in the past but every time i've put one on the gun it's always been removed halfway through the game because a lighter front end is useful in more situations than a bipod, at least for airsoft ranges. although that's the purely practical viewpoint, if you just want it to look good then sure why not. when it comes to the scope how about a lpvo? bit more of a modern look, although if you're like me it'll get set and left at 4x with a red dot stacked on top that gets used 99% of the time
  19. looks like it's for battery storage as with the RS grips, although afaik those normally have a more robust hinge or suchlike. as above not necessary, tbh i'm surprised they even bothered installing it.
  20. you're talking to a hamster, of course i hate badgers. lording it over us with their natural camo and extravagant burrows, you know how much a badger burrow costs? more than i make in a decade! i can kinda see the logic, although in this case the op's natural leaning seems to be towards the cyma anyway. i mean to me a generic ar variant is a generic ar variant, but then i don't tend to worry too much about the state of internals....
